I thinks it a wrong move to kill Ellise in the first film. I mean, they did not expect that her character will be popular and likeable. Now the only insidious films that they could do to show her still alive, will be prequels. -_-
Divine Monkey i thought exactly the same.. n its really fantastic that such an aged person can be the real hero of the film.. breaking stereotypes..she is exlnt..
Engels Alhambra Thats what i thought too 🤦🏻♀️😭 they really should’ve kept her alive honestly, but then at the same time if you think about it, there would be no point in chapter 2 n 3.
noo they dont show you the part where she gets in a wheel chair and that man who couldnt breath drove her in the hallway to the elevator and went down to the baement and almost killed her but before he can kill her she screams DAD!!! DAD!!! he finds her and she ends up being in the bedroom lying on the floor
this one to me was the scariest one, excellent directing, creepy and disturbing images, amazing sound affects, and no false jump scares. makeup and affects were top notch in this one for sure, usually they just get shittier with sequels in horror movies but insidious has kept its respect and delivered a solid trilogy
You know a lot of people don't like it but I can say this, I love these movies so much because it's part or a few horror movies that has a real story and not something just thrown together
1. For those condemning the film to failure before it's realeased, ok, you must have impeccable omniscient insight. 2. For those who want to go back to being creeped out before the 21 century horrors, go watch the classics or make you're own film and watch it. 3. There is nothing wrong with jump scares if they're used correctly and they're not predictable, and if you're not 90 with heart problems. 4. Unless you're brimming with ideas for groundbreaking horror films stop acting like you know what people want in general, because you don't, peace.
Bilbo Baggins yes it has became just a stupid teen movie with all the easy cliché you find in every other poor horror movie. And yes it's just about stupid jump scare that has no connection with fear.
I actually liked the movie. There are things that are done better elsewhere, but it tried to make something new. Not many ghost/demon films are set in an apartment. Not many have only a father. And not many have the eldest child being haunted and not the youngest. And the fact that they did all of these is admirable. Because of that, it is more memorable than the typical cliche horror movies. I applaud such innovation.
I like how they're still tying all the stories in to each other. It's going to be very interesting to see how they're all connected with what has to be a prequel to the original insidious movies!
The first Insidious was the best one of course. The part where red face shows up or parts of the movie where things pop out at you scared me so bad. I like this type of horror rather than bloody gore films that don't have much of a plot. The second one was just as scary but the first one takes the cake.
I'm sorry, but horror films *REALLY* hold back. I mean, what happened to super, ultra, horrendously scary visuals? I feel like nowadays horror movies are just trying to give you a damn heart attack with the all the jump scares. Some guy had a seizure during a screening of "Annabelle" probably because of a jump scare while i was watching. I mean, I just want something that is so shockingly frightening that you can't look at it - *I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT VIOLENCE AND GORE*. Sound and visuals. "Mama" the first half of the movie is scary, but then they had jumpscares and all of the crap cgi. "Evil Dead" was awesome, and I'm not talking about the violence and gore.
Annabelle was pretty boring but it really had the potential to be creepy. The elevator part was somewhat original and created a build-up. The problem was that all the "scary" parts were constantly being shown in the commercials. I really think basically the entire movie was shown in the trailer and commercials so we were left disappointed because we has already seen the scares and what was left was just boring nonsense. Plus the ending was STUPID which concluded us to think the movie sucked!
Oh my...is this a joke? Acting is horrible, stories are stupid, and the demon shits look like the bad guy from Star Wars lol. Hell no they ain't anywhere the best horror movies..
I finally watched this tonight I didn't even know they came out with a chapter 3, had already seen the second. Just found out there's a 4th chapter too. I am really looking forward to watching it. I appreciate how story driven and the amount of effort that has been put into this series and I still feel like it's extremely underrated. Great job directors and writers/actors. Seriously!
Same this is happening another year later to me.. haha. Watched 1 and 2 years ago and thought that was it and then I saw a new one came out on Netflix recently and was like oh sweet, a new insidious.. only to discover it was the FIFTH one 😅 lol. So I just started the whole series again and am just about to watch this one for the first time and then onto 4 and 5. Pretty pumped though cuz I love these movies. 😊
I noticed that. But as a producer he's in charge of finances and marketing so that makes sense. The director controls the on set creative direction of the film and quite frankly I'm not impressed with how he portrays the story.
They technically do, because without the producer, there is no movie. However, the director puts his vision to life. He's in charge of the acting, he decides whether he likes the scene or not or should do a cut and try again, he decides whether he likes the angles, costumes, music, etc. At least that's what I learned in film class.
But then at the end, the producer has to decide whether he likes the film and approves. So they do work together. It's a bit confusing but I hope I'm explaining it okay, lol. :)
I saw this film last night - it's excellent - the best Insidious chapter so far. Literally lost count of how many times I jumped! Proper nail-biting stuff!
Insidious Chapter 1 and Insidious Chapter 2 were both great movies and people are like; "They are so not scary" or "I wasn't even scared lol". My favorite scene from both movies was when Dalton used that cup thingy to talk to someone calling him and he thought it was Foster, his brother, but it appeared to be an entity in his closet. That part made me pee my pants.
Ok, on one of the trailers it says that "all the questions will be answered." but it never explains why she wears a gas mask in the first chapter!!! I'm like SERIOUSLY INSIDIOUS!!!!
Blake Thompson but in the end of insidious two she stared at someone or something behind a girl who was "possesed" and 3 is after 2 so doesn't it have to be continued by the third one ?
Maria Liz Both Wan and the audience didn't really like that ending because it was a little weird, so they went back in time, which was a way better choice than just having a new family with the same things happening that happened to the Lambert's.
There're a lot of people saying this movie is going to flop, but to be honest, it looks like the most promising horror film this year has to offer so far
This movie is very good and i give thumbs up to the director for being able to make the story in a reverse direction. the horror is really there and we have to be strong mentally to watch the third chapter 👍🏻
Amazing movie!! Probably one of my favorite horror movies I have ever watched in a long time. 9.5/10 rating. Makes you get shivers up your spine and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Many jump scares and an interesting storyline! I thought it wouldn't be good because of pg-13 but it was AMAZING! Good job insidious!!
Just saw this movie on Sunday. My mom, who has watched horror movies for years and got me into them, actually jumped at Quinn (Stefanie Scott) getting hit by the car that renders her in the wheelchair. It was so funny, but it was scary because that car came out of nowhere and boom! She liked it better than she thought she would. Elise kicks butt in this movie too, especially with the ghost after her. Stefanie Scott does a great job also. The ghost after Quinn is scary-looking, Parker Crane returns, and we get some origin stuff, like how Elise met Specs and Tucker. I recommend this movie!!
Brian Linville Yes that was very cool. BTW the "psychic lady" is named Elise Rainer :) What about Sinister 2? Did you see the first one, and are you interested in the sequel. So many sequels this year in 2015!

+Eloise Arnold Thrillers are movies that draw in audience through building suspense, and can come in many forms: Action thriller, crime thriller, psychological thriller etc. Horror films can be thrillers, but for that to happen they have to combine suspense with fear inducing elements (i.e it has to be scary). It's probably just me but I didn't get that "horror" from this film. Everything was overly drawn out with too much explanation, depleting the fear factor. It was more a supernatural thriller.
James Wan didn't choose to whether or not to let Leigh Whannel make this movie, James was busy on Furious 7 at the time and a whole lot of stuff happens less than 45 minutes into the movie
So let me get this straight, when the old man died upstairs, did his physical soul go into The Further or did the demon attach itself to it right away?
It's sad how bad all the insidious trailers are, i wouldn't have seen it, but i have seen it and it is amazing. I have seen so many horror movies where lots of things happens for no reason. This is not that kind of a movie, the story is perfect and all the questions that you have from movie 1 and 2 will be answer. Worth watching
Groverkiin Muppetborn oh haha haha. You funny, you tell joke, you funny guy. Darth Maul listens to Tiny Tim and has a house in the Further. But seriously, I thought you knew who he REALLY was. I was excited to find out.
TheGreatWhiteShark78 I'm gonna be completely honest, I have no idea who it really is, and I don't watch the Insidious movies. I just like watching scary trailers. Sorry if I wasted your time ;-; And also sorry for bad jokes.
I watched this on Netflix last night, it was good but the sound was bad on my side. It was so quiet when they would talk and then the jump scares were deafening lol. I had to have my remote in hand throughout so I could turn it up and down. Dunno if its on my side or Netflix or just how the movie is but it was good
I watched the movie today and it was awesome. Yes there are allot of parts that can make you jump, but it was not a scary film.. I loved it. The only terrifying thought is it happening to any of us.
10\10 movie. What a whirl wind of emotions this had me scared, laughing and even crying at the emotional parts. I’m a horror film fanatic and very judgemental when it comes to horror films but this movies really good👍🏻
I had some reservations prior to seeing this movie, so my expectations were fairly low, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's certainly not a perfect film but it was well worth the time spent watching it. If you liked the first two movies or just want to watch this as a standalone film, definitely give it a go. 👍
Yeah, shocker. There's zero education here. I'd be mad, too If I were her boss or a parent. I was going to ask if she smelled strongly of toothpaste, perfume or mouthwash, as it's intended to hide the smell of alcoholism.
Hey try to pay attention to things dude!! It said it's the origins of the trilogy. Meaning it is safe to assume this is a prequel; meaning that all the events which took place in this movie happened before the other two movies. Are you unconfused now?
Is it going to be about that amanda girl in the end of the second movie? I don't really want to know about their past experiences because they still obviously came out alive to continue doing their thing.
I hope so, don't know what'll be about though, I guessed that the Brennor family and the Lambert family will meet at Elise's funeral and Quinn will probably be a noob and mention the man who cannot breath, making their memory come back. Just a guess like :)
Insidious is probably the only horror franchise that I actually like.

This movie is beautiful. I really cried in the ending. I miss 2015.
Adventure? Story is about possesed girl and ghost hunting and you say that its not a horror?
45 minutes into this movie, and NOTHING happened. It was like watching a teen drama. Never let anyone sequal any of your movies again, James Wan!!
+TFA Daryl thanks for the warning
+Ronan Dee np
James Wan didn't direct Insidious 3. Leigh Whannell did.
If you re-read my comment i mention that.
James Wan didn't choose to whether or not to let Leigh Whannel make this movie, James was busy on Furious 7 at the time and a whole lot of stuff happens less than 45 minutes into the movie
This was by far the scariest of the trio!!
my personal opinion is that this has to be the scariest one out of all insidious movies
This is prob one of the scariest trailers from a movie that I've ever seen 😬
I hope someone like Stefanie Scott is capable of playing such a role. I freaking love this series, and I can't wait to see what happens.
I love how in Insidious lore you can just throw hands with a ghost
Omfg when she looked out the window I almost throw my phone 😂 💀
Is it just only me who likes the first 2 movies? The first and second are good!
Finally someone who agrees
Thank you for showing us the entire movie! :)
So let me get this straight, when the old man died upstairs, did his physical soul go into The Further or did the demon attach itself to it right away?
King Bey are you asking how Quinn gets haunted ?
I'm only here cause I'm trying to find Joey Graceffa, lol
Tible the UWU but Joey wasn't in the movie.
Radhika Ravariya He was an extra

It's sad how bad all the insidious trailers are, i wouldn't have seen it, but i have seen it and it is amazing. I have seen so many horror movies where lots of things happens for no reason. This is not that kind of a movie, the story is perfect and all the questions that you have from movie 1 and 2 will be answer. Worth watching
This was better than i thought it would be
Whats it like? Does it have a lot of jumpscares, or is it more atmospheric.
+jay bob lot of jumpscares but it wasn't really scary but it was disturbing at some points
Geeky Ravenclaw Thanks, not a fan of jumpscares
We finally find out the true identity of the Sith Lord...
SPOILER ALERT*******wait I just watched Chapter 3 and the Sith Lord pops up behind Elise at the end. who is he? I don't get it.
TheGreatWhiteShark78 Uh, the Sith Lord. Duh.
Groverkiin Muppetborn oh haha haha. You funny, you tell joke, you funny guy. Darth Maul listens to Tiny Tim and has a house in the Further. But seriously, I thought you knew who he REALLY was. I was excited to find out.
TheGreatWhiteShark78 I'm gonna be completely honest, I have no idea who it really is, and I don't watch the Insidious movies. I just like watching scary trailers. Sorry if I wasted your time ;-;
And also sorry for bad jokes.
Groverkiin Muppetborn haha it's all good man. No worries. I was laughing the whole time.
Oeh. This looks scarier than 1 and 2. I wanna watch but I'd have to take my younger siblings who are scared of crayons... Hmmm.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Crayola used to give me nightmares 😂😂😂
Buttons and blanket used to scare me
Lame Boy are u filipino?

Amazing movie, worth every penny
Waiting for this to come out on Netflix
It has currently watching on Netflix 😊
When it still isn't ;-;
If she isn’t already, Lin Laye should be a Scream Queen inductee. She may be from a movie family but she deserved every job she got.
10\10 movie. What a whirl wind of emotions this had me scared, laughing and even crying at the emotional parts. I’m a horror film fanatic and very judgemental when it comes to horror films but this movies really good👍🏻
1:30 HEARTATACK OMG!!!
one of the best horror movies and the best part of insidious series!
2:03 darth maul is back
Where do you see it
Please tell me ur joking
LOL THATS WHAT I USED TO CALL HIM
Dalton Forrest Gaming The only thing that was worse was Parker's mom. She wasn't scary because, well let's face it, she was hot rofl
Eren Old actually he probably is since he was what Elise saw at the end of 2
Just watched it, it's so good!!
Scary & Sad at the same time.
I had some reservations prior to seeing this movie, so my expectations were fairly low, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's certainly not a perfect film but it was well worth the time spent watching it. If you liked the first two movies or just want to watch this as a standalone film, definitely give it a go. 👍
This trailer was very bad. Why would they show us the jump scares 😬 Now i know what to expect. Damn it!!
I loved it. A great horror film after so long. Enjoyed it to the max :)
amazing sound effect.... superb
Είναι μια από τις καλύτερες ταινίες του κόσμου. Ανυπομωνω να την δω αφού παίζει και μια από τις αγαπημένες μου ηθοποιούς. Ή Stefanie Scott.
📱
that's what happens when you bully young and talented people *wink wink OML I'm sorry I just can't believe she was on Disney continue...
looooooool omg ant farm shop
so this is what you doing 4 years ago huh lol
@@BrookeKatherine. what theeee this took me back
I don't even remember saying this lmao
This one was the scariest one out of all of them
The Conjuring
Insidious
Case 39
Sinister
Mama
The Possesion (2012)
Guaranteed to make you shit in your pants!
Case 39 was terrible, mama wasn't scary at all and neither was the possession the rest are good
ishnookie watched them all , felt asleep in some of them ... so boring .
There was this one scene in The Innkeepers that made me scream so loud and I rarely scream when I watch horror films, I just get startled.
I only shit myself on the top 2...
None of them are scary
This movie is the best for me of horror
More emotional and realistic, they didnt use too much the ficition this time
So who is the family at the end of chapter 2 that dead elise is trying to help? It doesn’t have anything about that family in 3
i watched this in maths and the teacher got fired
ellie brazier that's just sad, since when do horror movies get teachers fired ? Also it's PG - 13 so I don't think the parents would be that mad
Yeah, shocker. There's zero education here. I'd be mad, too If I were her boss or a parent. I was going to ask if she smelled strongly of toothpaste, perfume or mouthwash, as it's intended to hide the smell of alcoholism.
Chapter three of insidious scary
Going to be a good movie
I know its supposed to be the first part of insidious that's how you die that's what it said
Oh I die
No its just a model
Oh are u going to weat pajamas hey why was Adrian being mean to u
Just finished the second one and im already looking forward to watching this tomorrow night ;)
Didnt that old lady died in the previous movie? Am bit confused
Watch the movie lol it says three years before the lambert haunting
GraViiTy HyBiiRrD I feel like the fourth one will be a prequel to 3, about the boy her assistant said she helped yes ago
It took place before the first one she was still alive
How is that blonde old lady still alive??? I thought she died in chapter 2
Justin Justin right?
Roblox Redsugar822 No, she's still alive. It's a prequel that will tell us how she knew what the Fire-faced demon was.
Justin Justin ROFL REALLY? did you not read the big words that popped up in bold in the trailer? Come on guys.
if it's a prequel, why is it called chapter 3?
Lol chapter 3 in a book could be a flash back. Again read the text in the trailer. It proves that it is a prequel.
100% worth watching. A great movie!
the movie was not as much good i was expecting ......waiting for chapter 4....still loved the 3 parts....😍😘❤❤❤
I am only here because I just learned that this girl is from Ant Farm lmao.
Anytime time I watch the Insidious Trailers they give me chills.
Melhor do que eu esperava!! Valeu cada dia, meses, minutos, segundos, milésimos e centésimos!!
I wonder if there will be Chapter 4
There will
I hope so, don't know what'll be about though, I guessed that the Brennor family and the Lambert family will meet at Elise's funeral and Quinn will probably be a noob and mention the man who cannot breath, making their memory come back. Just a guess like :)
There will be the red mask guy will be in it if u watch the ending he showed up behind the old lady
+Veronika Janečková Leigh Whannell has the whole book
+Everything Best Top 10 best horor movie
One of my friends, he cant stop acting this out...EVEN AT SCHOOL! But hes good at it, so, good job Kasseem!
How knows that Joey Groceffa is in this movie!? Its awsome.
I think this chapter was inspired by Star Wars
old demon guy looks like darth vader
GIMI Productions NO!!!!!!
