Really glad to get a second chance at seeing this event. It was airing yesterday but me and my father had to leave early on because we were going to the Concourse d'Elegance being held just up the road in Colts Neck NJ. Pretty good turn out, but not on the same scale as Pebble Beach as one might expect. Was a bit annoyed that many of the cars who didn't qualify for the final judging started bailing. If the owners weren't getting awards, they started up their cars and started leaving so I had to rush a bit to get all the photos I could of the cars before they left.
As much as I enjoyed seeing these timeless classics, I wish the program went into the judging process of these incredible automobiles. I'd like to know what the judges are looking for besides their rarity. My personal favorite for this year has got to be the Cadillac. The lines of this glorious car have got to win all the goods. Everyone should be proud of their efforts to keep these priceless classics on the road and in the forefront of the spectator.
C'est bien c'est grosse voiture qui ressemble à un cochon ? Allons, voyons, vous n'allez pas comparer ce machin à la classe absolue que représente l'Alfa Roméo 8C 2900B ! 😏
I dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost the account password. I love any tips you can offer me!
Beautiful show. I was very surprised the Cadillac didn't take top honours this year, since it was the crowd gatherer. I believe it had already participated in 1986, but didn't do much better. Maybe elegance lies within the discreet just as the 2.9 Berlinetta proves it. Btw, that Cadillac looks like it was ordered by captain Nemo.
It's a wonderful car culture. In Japan the old car is destroyed by the government. Impose strict inspection obligations or bear high taxes. Everything is sacrificed to make Toyota's new car. My country is crazy.
In the West it isn't any better with what you're describing. Many of the Countries that made these Cool Cars like (France, Germany and the United Kingdom) are also taxing the heck out of them to make new boring electric cars. They're also trying to ban them. It's crazy
Yes, these cars sit in a line at idle for quite some time while waiting to be called up. It's not unusual to see them get a bit hot. I met these people and their Alfa did complete the tour with no issues.
Give the money to the poor and homeless people. These people are really inhumane and very very very sick in the disturbed material head. And certanley not nice. Think human and care for the les fortunate.
These born super richies are keeping their families heritage including giving a sh... for anybody else but themselves , showing each other their favorite toys and are given prices therefor . I do love vintage cars but I think that you might be right and not just in a few cases .
Awesome, now I can watch this with my grandmother, we were so bummed it got taken down before we got a chance to watch
What a great documentary. PBS-esq details and quality. Fantastic!
Pebble Beach looks absolutely stunning. I can't wait to visit 😍

This is the most uninspiring smug fueled gathering of scrap metal ever witnessed

You clearly have never met any of "these people". Get a life, get a career, raise your self-esteem and drop the hate and jealousy.
@@firstnamelastname8060 The opposite is true; I know these people very well
@@geertjantabak9990 Correction, you know your own thoughts, not the people.
