    I have this exact same lock on the front door of my flat. However, I cannot lock the handle from the inside (as you do at 0:48). Do you know why this might be the case? The key was changed when I moved in and has an ERA cylinder at the front. My kit fits from the inside, but might it not be compatible?

      the cylinder from the outside is different to the one on the inside. So if you just had the outside changed then you would have had to keep the original key to operate the inside

    Can you reverse this to outward locking direction?

    What’s the small nib used for? Sorry, I really didn’t get what you said. 😅

      The small nib is used to lock the handle in the down position. Like when you go to the bin without the keys. The draft can be malicious! :D

    What happens when you need to replace the cylinder, the interior keyhole will no longer match new keys?

    These lock are crap one kick bolt bends door in. Get a era bs nigh latch job done!

      @11 11 But most Brits use this night latch as the main lock, and the lower mortise lock they have only to prevent the door from kicking.
