- @espguitars I am in love...
I've always been a massive fan of single humbucker guitars for death metal ever since I was 16 and first heard @cannibalcorpseofficial and saw Pat O'Brien's V. Ever since I've been drawn to them, owning a Jackson RR24 twice and whilst it was a great instrument I just never really gelled with it.
After now owning 4 ESP guitars and loving all of them I can't see myself going anywhere else. This Black Metal Arrow has to be the most metal looking guitar I've ever seen. It feels unbelievably comfortable, the cutout in the body fits perfectly against the leg so not only does it look cool but ergonomically works perfect. Also the cutaway for fret access is insane, my gripe about the RR24 is that the 24th fret was on the body making it a pain to reach but here that is not an issue.

Yeah dude, As of a year and a half ago I first saw the Black Metal series and hadnt bought myself a new guitar in several years and same as you...I thought the Arrow was the coolest guitar I'd ever seen (that wasnt Custom Shop) and got one in Nov 2019.
Greatest decision I ever made.I play Black/Melodic Death
Congrats man, such an awesome guitar!
Looks cool on ya mate 👍 cheers
Damn this is a beauty
I’ve been saving up for this guitar little by little since late 2019 and been on the fence about using that money to get a Schecter Reaper 7 Multiscale since I like to drop tune but now seeing this guitar again made me make up my mind 😹
There nothing like that Floyd Rose.
i just ordered this. cant wait now! its so deadly
Congrats man! If money wasn't an object I would get this again in a heartbeat
Just pulled the trigger on one, even though I am not a fan of all black guitars, but ESP/LTD gave me no other choice xD
The Arrow shape just needs that reverse headstock, looks way cooler and meaner than the regular one!
Wise decision my friend. The reverse headstock and all black did it for me to 💪
You can hear the sustain! \m/ \m/
Im a Jackson Rhoads guy, and i'll never change, but that guitar is also very nice!
Make a demo video!
Cheers from Portugal 🍺🤘🇵🇹
Sweet guitar thanks for sharing
Thanks man, I have a tone demo of it in my channel if you fancy watching it.
Yeah I've watched a couple it sounds great, I have a dean and a Jackson guitar also bass an a drum set
@@christhephenomenon9400 appreciate it 🙏
I have the black metal M. It is a bit heavy. Not les paul heavy. But heavier than the average electric. Perhaps on par with the weigh of a strat. Im considering getting the V as well. Is the V heavy or light weight?
The V is very light, I had the M7 and that was a little heavy, but yeah the v feels like nothing
@@hunter757 thanks for the reply. That's good to hear.
Do you still love it, do you have any complaints of black metal arrow?
I no longer own it unfortunately, wish I'd kept it but sold it to buy my ESP LTD ECLIPSE 87. I had no complaints about it at all, for what it did it was perfect, I just needed more versatility that was all, but if I had the money I would get it again in a heartbeat
@@hunter757 oh man , i can’t make a decision between aroow adromeda and black metal. The problem is , i can not find them anywhere to try them and look at them closely.
@@Tom-em2wy it depends on what you're wanting to do with it really, they're both practically the same guitar, just one has an extra pickup. The question really is how precious you are about wanting a neck pickup 🤷♂️
Great review. Thanks Henry Cavill 😀👍
Haha thank you! 👍
Why does the box says epiphone guitars mate?
Just the box they saint it in for some reason, more than likely just found one they had laying around
@@hunter757sure mate, that makes sense. they just found one they had laying around
@@timos13 seems that way, happens a lot, ive had kramers turn up in Jackson boxes 🤷♂️
@timos13 he probably bought it from a music store and not directly from ESP. I have this same exact guitar and it came in a generic box with no brand name on it.
Man, the quality of this guitar is great?
Yeah it really is. Fully solid, no issues, tuning stability is awesome, flawless for the price range
@@hunter757 how bucks you payed?
@@BagusWibisono well I'm in the UK so I got it for £900 so I'm guess about $1100 maybe?
are they glow in the dark sidedots
Yep, I also own one.
I’ll only buy guitars with an original Floyd rose. I guess I’ll get the eii or the original
Snob
Epiphone box?!
Yeah for whatever reason the store sent it in that box, I've had ibanez guitars turn up in random brands boxes before
How heavy is it?
It's pretty light to be honest, maybe about 5lbs at the most.
I've had my eyes on this for a while now. I know I will eventually own it but the weight of a guitar is just as important as any of the specs. It no doubt affects the guitarist.
@@mums_the_word5696 I'd go for it man, you wouldn't be disappointed, I know I'm definitely not. I've just set it up in 13-56 gauges tuned to Bb. I'll be posting a video in a bit of a tone play through if you're interested.
@@hunter757 looking forward to it. Seems like there is very little about this guitar across the internet right npw
@@mums_the_word5696 yeah you're right, the M7 got a lot of the spot light I think and whilst there is definitely a community for the spiky guitar enthusiasts it seems few and far between. Single hum Vs are my bag but they seem rare.
