  • Recently got my hands on the Hit n Move All Day Training gloves. Came into the gym to break them in, but decided to make a video to share with everyone how I break in my gloves. Keep in mind this is mainly for softening up your sparring gloves
    BTW, if you plan on getting these gloves, Hit n Move gave me a discount code to help people get 10% off use: thatboxingguy10

    I just step on them until they break apart and then post negative reviews on Amazon about their poor quality

      No problem! Glad you found this useful👍🏽 Yeah, there's some weird methods out there in how to break in gloves. I remember seeing this one vid of a guy just sitting on his gloves, but essentially just flattening this gloves

    i was told hitting the heavy bag actually hardens the padding. not sure, says it on every website about breaking in gloves. wanna hear your thoughts on that

      Yeah, definitely if you use it on the bag for too long. This is meant for 20 rounds only or until the gloves feel soft enough to spar with

      But i have your attention now, i want to break in my cleto reyes faster. And not only while wearing them. Right now i have them laying flat with the logo up, on top of them is a pillow and that pillow has heavy stuff on it. So this way it compresses the fist position into a closed fist.
      Does anyone have any other passive break in tips?

    I got the Rival Guerrero HDE-F sparring gloves. How long did it take you to break those in? Finding some discomfort on my middle knuckle and thinking its because of this

    • @ThatBoxingGuy
      @ThatBoxingGuy  6 місяців тому +1

      I honestly stopped using them for awhile because it was taking so long to break them in. When I got the P4Ps they came broken in, so I use those more. Some of my boxers have them too and it took them long to break them in. But others were similar to the P4Ps but a bit firmer. Are any of the gloves have squeaky padding?

    • @oakcakaya
      @oakcakaya 2 роки тому +2

      Hit n move all day
      Small compact and snaps and bounces due to Dr-T multi layer padding they own. You don’t even need 18 Oz. Just get 16 Oz HITNMOVE which is more protective than 18 Oz of other gloves

    • @ThatBoxingGuy
      @ThatBoxingGuy  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah, but I find the padding on the V2 Of the Super Sparring gloves to be pretty broken in. Maybe after 10 rounds they'll be good to spar with.
