Tried today - it was easy and DELICIOUS!!! I added some (about 1 teaspoon) cardamon and added sliced mushrooms in the saute stage. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe.
Perfect and everyone loved this. One differential I did was no additional Kashmiri mirch and no pink salt. The fact instant pot handled this in the middle of my conference call just was a life saviour for me. 👍
Prepared this today and it was amazing! I added Tofu instead of Paneer and used coconut milk instead of cream. This will be my go to from now. Thank you so much for this!
I tried this recipe and oh my goodness IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! A few things - I added some whole spices, cardamom, pepper, & bay leaf (everything gets blended anyway) And I used half the butter that is recommended along with whole milk! I would highly share this recipe to all the paneer lovers who want a quick fix!
Thank you so much Grishma ❤️☺️ Loved your detailed reviews and the way you explain things. I am sure it helps many. I did not add whole spices since this is a quick and easy recipe. Thank you again for trying it out 🥰
This is a great recipe. I’ve made this so many times now and it’s always on point. Some modifications I make: I add two cardamom pods (ground up), one inch cinnamon stick, and I don’t have the spicy red chili powder (just Kashmiri), so I add 0.75 tsp Cayenne powder. I also add more salt (1.5 tsp total), and a pinch more sugar. I’ve started making this with only 2 tbsp butter (half this recipe), and just under ½ cup heavy cream. Still delicious and definitely recommended if you want to eat this more often! I find it tastes similar with or without cilantro. This goes great with raw onions and some mixed pickle on the side.

@@InstaMom blended it and then didn’t cook for the extra 30 mins I added in the cream. Then the cheese then panicked when I figured out I needed to cook it extra
Thank you for trying it out ☺️ ha ha . The reason for that name is , we are just simply dumping all the ingredients in the instant pot without doing any cooking. That’s why this name 😁
I never add water. The water released from tomato is more than enough. What kind of tomatoes did u use? How much butter did u add? Butter should be added at the bottom of the pot. This recipe has been tested ‘n’ number of times and it came out perfect every time.
Hi mam, My method is just dump and go method. In this recipe, 1) I don't do any kind of layering. 2) I do not release the pressure instantly. I made it…it was great. Only issue was that it came out thicker than I wanted. It was not smooth and liquid. Should have I added water too?
Thanks for trying it out..if you like more thinner consistency I would recommend adding little milk to it after grinding the paste and heat it up
@@InstaMom can it be whipping cream?
Hi, Yummy 😋 Can I make without Kasuri Methi?
Yes you can make it…there will be a slight difference in taste but it is ok sometimes
Just came across this recipe. Will try it out soon. Can I easily double or triple this recipe in 6qt insta pot? Thank you.
Yes you can double or triple in 6qt IP. Timing remains the same.
@@InstaMom thank you.
This sauce can be used as any curry base! Smart and quick
Thank you neha ❤️ yes we can replace it with chicken ,Tofu, mushroom, whatever we like 😊
Awesome taste, turned out A+, can you please do palak paneer & sarson ka saag if possible thank you ❤
Sure.
Does the timing remain same for 3q as well?
Same for 3 quarts as well
@@InstaMom Thanks 😊
How many quarts is your instant pot? I have a mini 3 quart and am worried the ingredients won’t fit
I have used 6 qts but these ingredients will fit 3 qt instant pot as well. You can cook in it👍☺️
Works with tofu and coconut milk too!
Thanks for trying out a vegan version 👍
Eek I put the cream in to early hope it still tastes ok
At what stage did u add the cream???
@@InstaMom blended it and then didn’t cook for the extra 30 mins I added in the cream. Then the cheese then panicked when I figured out I needed to cook it extra
That’s ok …it should not affect the curry much
@@InstaMom thank you so much we ate it and it was amazing! Great recipe thank you again ♥️
If we have a cashew allergy, what do you think about replacing those with soaked almonds?
Sure 👍 you can go ahead and soak the almonds overnight and use it instead of cashew after peeling the skin
Hi @instamom , could you please upload a dump and go rajma curry receipe ?
Sure ☺️I will share the recipe 👍
Thanks for sharing, need to go over your instructions though as it shows a different method and says to add chicken…. ☺️
