Hello all beautiful ladies tried making paneer by same method today and it turned out so good like best thing i did making it in instant pot I have an ninja instant pot though the procedure for all pot is same .. I am writing down the measurements just to brief the procedure for you all 😂 might be helpful for someone .. 1. Half gallon = 1.8 litre near by 2 litres 2. 3 TBSP lime juice = 9 tsp ( if you don't have the exact measurement spoons ) or simply 1 big lemon you can use or to be specific 45 (mililitres). 3. Put all together close the pot set pressure cook mode on one minute close it to seal position . 4. It will take around 10 minute max depends on your pot to built the pressure after that keep it for 5 minutes it doesn't affect paneer but sometimes it may get burned so release the pressure and open lid in 3-4 minutes . 5. I dont had ice in hand in my fridge so I put 1 cold glass of water you can add 1 and half . 6. After putting it on cheese cloth add one more glass of water 7. Squeeze out water use it as whey protein I gave that to my dog too and drink myself too 😂 8. Put anything for pressure on cheesecloth and you are done .
Made paneer for the first time today using your recipe and it came out so soft and so good. Thanks so much. Will use your recipe every time I make paneer now. I used 1.3 litres of milk and the milk hadn’t curdled after one minute so gave it an additional one minute and it was fine.
Thank you sooo.....Much for this recipe i made it n it really came well.I make paneer recipe thrice a week so Making paneer at home was really tedious for me. Should I increase time for 1 gallon ?
@@Nidhicooks I made it using 2 mins with whole gallon and it came out perfect without any burn. Now it’s in process of setting and will let you know the end result. I am so glad I found your video today. Instant pot is a life saver I can say that. Thanks again for your great recipes and great tips!
Help! Thank you so much for the recipe. I def got paneer but the milk stuck and turned brown in a very thin layer on the bottom of my Instant Pot. I haven't tasted the cheese so I don't know if it tastes burnt or not yet. What did I do wrong? I have the same Instant Pot that you have. I used half a gallon of full-fat, pasteurized, refrigerator-cold milk with 3Tb of white vinegar. The milk hadn't coagulated when I opened the lid so I added another tablespoon of vinegar and stirred a bit and it came together really fast.
I am nt sure where did u go wrong but the only thing u can do is, add a tbsp of more vinegar next time and for the brown bottom try to release pressure after ~2 mins as soon as the IP beeps
@@Nidhicooks thank you so much for the advice and for the awesome recipe. This was my first time ever making paneer and it was so easy. My local shop wants $14 for a pound of frozen paneer so I've just been using tofu. This is a total game-changer!!!
Had mixed results with this method. The paneer that came out was spongy and correct but the yeild was low. When my instapot pressurized, the clock didnt automatically begin so I had to do the timing manually. I also used lemon juice instead of lime. These two factors I think account for the lowered yeild. Going to try again with a local milk providers "creamline" milk to try and up the yeild a bit
In instant pot if we use separate bowl n water for steam ..so tht milk in tht separate bowl cn become paneer like we cook lil quantity rice ,in this way same one minute time will be enough or it gets flop?🤭🤔😀
Can anyone tell me how much total time does it to make this. I mean from putting it on pressure and venting it. Since I was doing it for the first time, I was dreading that nothing spills etc and was standing next to it the whole time.
@@Nidhicooks thank you for replying. I understood the time to be selected on instant pot from the recipe . But it takes time to build the pressure in the instant pot. I wanted to know how much approximate time in total it takes from switching on the pressure button to qpr. Does it take approximate 20 mins or less.

Don’t increase the time only increase the amount of vinegar
Thank you so much 🙏
Glad u liked it

@@Nidhicooks sure 😊👍 can we do it in pressure cooker? I was curious so asked...if you have tried it before!!
I am soon gonna share that recipe as well
Should I use 2 mins if using the whole gallon instead of half? Thank you for this easy method.
I would say first try in small quantity and if u get it right you can double the amount

If I want to make more paneer do I set up for more time or not
No use same timings
Hi Nidhi, I live in the East Coast of US. May I know which brand of milk you use to make paneer.
I have a question do I set the pressure longer if I am making more paneer like 2 gallons milk
No same timings

Just another bit of info: I slowly released steam, it took me about two minutes for the pin to drop
Thats ok it takes time for pin to drop

Will this work with ultra pasteurized milk too ? Thank you for easy recipe.
I am not really sure about it dear
Havnt tried with that milk but try with small quantity and see.. i am not 100% sure but it should work
It works but not that delicious
Do milk sticks to the bottom of instant pot?
Not really

I hv a 3 liter instapot. How much milk can I use for making paneer.
Will this work on lactose free milk?
I haven’t tried with lactose free milk so i cant say
What should be temperature of the milk? Should they be at room temperature or can we use just out of the fridge milk
Out of the fridge
Temperature really doesn’t matter for this recipe
What if I do natural pressure release instead of quick release?
If that happens thn the paneer will turn hard
As it cooks for the longer time the paneer will turn harder and will not form a shape
Thants the only concern
In instant pot if we use separate bowl n water for steam ..so tht milk in tht separate bowl cn become paneer like we cook lil quantity rice ,in this way same one minute time will be enough or it gets flop?🤭🤔😀
I am sure abt it dear
Thank you for sharing this new method. Do we have to use pasteurized milk only or can use regular homogenized while milk?
Yup regular homogenized milk will work
Thank you
How long will have to pressure cook for 1 gallon milk? And does the regular whole milk work?
Yes
Thank you ! I have 8 qt instant pot .is the cooking time same?
I am not sure about the 8 qt but most probably it should work
Can anyone tell me how much total time does it to make this. I mean from putting it on pressure and venting it. Since I was doing it for the first time, I was dreading that nothing spills etc and was standing next to it the whole time.
Only 1 min pressure cook thats it
Once the 1 min is up wait for 5 mins and open

Lets the instant pot do the job, dont worry about that timings
It takes about ~6 mins
I was thinking to try with just 1lt milk . Should the pressure time be same for 1lt too ?
pressure should be same but reduce the quantity vinegar
and don't let it naturally release for 5 mins , release the vent after 1-2 min or else it may burn on the bottom
@@Nidhicooks sure will do that & let you know here .. thank you 😊
🤤🤤🤤
Thx
