i don’t know why so many ppl didn’t have captions for connie and kelly, i didn’t have to mess with any settings and amc had captioned everything in the episode.

Lance may be part of the resistance. In the "six months later" scene, there is a man standing in front of Daryl when he's talking to Maggie that looks like Lance.
I love the mystery to this episode. It just gets better and better. Maybe CRM is connected with the missing people list?
Mercer got all bloddied when he split the guy in two with his axe. Jerry did the same thing back in all out war to save Ezekiel, and Jerry hardly got a drop on him
No, Mercer got covered in blood after slaughtering every walker that was chasing those 2 soldiers.
I believe Mercer gave the list to Connie to start bringing her and who she sees fit into "the loop".
The disappearance of Tyler was strangely mysterious. I wonder if he got traded to the CRM as a B and that’s why Mercer was probably pissed
I say (the REAL) Stephanie, Mercer and Shira are all part of the Rebellion with Lance Hornsby as the head of the movement.

You may already know this by now, but they do show you what Kelly and Connie are signing. You just can't see it with the captions on. If you turn off the captions, then you'll be able to read what they were signing.
They show with captions on also.
@@moonchildatl3730 If you're watching AMC+ through Amazon Prime Video, they don't show up with captions on. If Kelly is talking out loud translating for Connie, you can see what's being said. But when they're only signing with no talking, you can't. Unless yours is different for some reason. But lots of reactors are having the same problem I had. If you are, that's how you fix it.

I wonder if they were planning on letting Eugene think Shira was the real Stephanie for longer, but since he professed his love to her along with a key to his apartment they knew they had to cut the rouse short.
Now we need to know why Stephanie goes by Max.
I agree the episode was slow, but for what happened it couldn't be a fast paced episode. I also think it seems extra slow because the previous 2 episodes had so much more action.

There is no Stephanie. Max did not give her real name to Eugene when they spoke on the Radio. So her real name is Max not Stephanie
This episode was directed by Michael Cudlitz. So I wouldn't be surprised if that line was dropped in by him.

Got a wild theory for you guys which popped into my slightly inebriated mind..!
What if Pamela Milton already knew about Alexandria and Hilltop and there's something about those two communities that jeopardises her leadership at the Commonwealth..? She was the President's daughter and in Congress as was her uncle, who Connie exposed. Deanna from Alexandria was a Congresswoman before the Fall, if I remember rightly so Pamela would most likely of known her or known of her and Gregory was, I believe a big businessman..! By looks of it, Alexandria and Hilltop were set up right very early into the Apocalypse. These 3 communities were probably meant to work together but as time went on they went their separate ways and lost contact, possible believing that each had been overrun or destroyed. But now, with the Alexandrians suddenly turning up, Milton needs some damage control before something is discovered...she did make an offhand comment about the 'Alexandria situation' at the ball. Seeing as the Commonwealth still uses cash and it has been subtlely shown at times ( people paying for stuff...Princess's Dollar bill being taken away from her...the skip full of money to be incinerated...Darrell seeing a briefcase full of cash in the subway...money in envelopes being given away after the ball...) and it's apparently being strictly controlled as in to who has X amount of money. What if there are stashes of cash at both Alexandria and Hilltop that have never been discovered and if the wrong person gets there hand on it, that screws up Pamela Milton's ambition to be President when some order returns to the world.

What does everyone think? A newspaper said "Task Force holds the line" and "second wave coming" or something like that. I assume this is waves of walkers but do you think its just a random horde? Because i'm thinking its small columns that CRM are sending to test the commonwealth defense. I only think that considering we're meant to get that link about them at some point
I think it has something to do with the crm! because in the waves there 1000s of walkers and i think that maybe the crm is doing waves to try and wipe out the commonwealth like how they did on world beyond with the horde or what they call a column! because they have already killed one herd maybe this next one will reveal something along side the CRM bc we haven't gotten much for the CRM.
I think JFK is behind it all. 🤔
I actually like Hornsby, one of my favorites so far.

I believe Lance is part of the Resistance and Mercer. Josh was awesome in this. I felt everything Eugene said. The episode did move a bit compared to the other two but I think it needed to. Great reaction guys! Love that pink shirt! 💕

I had watched a video last week where somebody was trying to make connections to CRM and thought that Lance was trading people off to CRM. I didn’t give it much thought until watching this episode. The way the soldier was moved WITHOUT Mercer knowing? And the list of people might be who the Commonwealth has traded?
I just wanna know Why Does Stephanie decide to show up now why didn’t she try to reveal herself earlier to Eugene?

I think Hornsby might not be a bad guy but I do believe he is the root of the Resistance to help reach his totem pole aspirations
Also...by Eugene opening up to Lance and Mercer about our people and looking for his "love" (Stephanie), allows them to know and find out who to place in different positions to work with the Rebellion, hence Lance taking Carroll to the crooked Opium farmer, Rosita and Daryl joining the malitia...etc.

I loved Princess’s hot pink scarf during the break in scene as a call back to her furry jacket. All of her clothes this episode were very colorful, and cute, but not so over the top.

Better than 10 but I think I wanted more. This reveal doesn't hit too hard given that we already figured out the spy situation, but I'm still intrigued. Just hope the pay off is worth the slow burn!

I have a suspicion that Tyler Davis was traded to the CRM and Lance is the one who coordinates the trades. There’s a resistance happening fo sho but I think the 3-4 people Lance meets with may be with CR or CRM.

I think Mercer and Lance are apart of the resistance and they brought in our gang to bring Pamela down and make The Commonwealth about the people.
Also I wonder if it's possible Rick ( with amnesia from the bridge explosion ) was brought to The Commonwealth to live/work ( he's married to Anne aka Jadis as she lied they were together ) and over his 9 years away he slowly gets his memory back and started the residence we see today.
In the final episodes we'll see his battle come to an end with the CRM and The Commonwealth and at the end of the series Rick will start to tell Judith / Daryl etc what happened to him over those 9 years away and then well get a title card for the upcoming Rick Grimes movies, where we will see those 9 years play out over the three movies.
I get the feeling that Lance is double crossing here, he's running the CW intelligence but he's also running the resistance, that's why the CW is so clueless about what is happening inside their own walls. You can see how he feels about the whole class issue on display in how he reacted to Carol when she told him what's going on behind the scenes at the drug operation and he also speaks of how he worked his way up from the bottom.
In my view he's what Victor Strand in Fear should have been from a character point of view.
Jadis talks about bringing Rick to the CRM in World Beyond.

Oh yeah i don't know if anybody has theorized this yet but what if in the The Walking Dead Series Lance is a spy for the CRM & he's gathering info on the Commonwealth,Pamela,Alexandria,The Hilltop & The Oceanside
This is honestly been one of my theories the last few episodes is that he actually works for the CRM And that he doesn’t seem to really be a good guy
He's not a spy. He's been part of the Commonwealth since its beginning and he knew Pamela even before that. He wants to expand their reach.

Good episode, probably the worst of the season so far though. Honestly season 11 is pretty good but I hope there isn't low episodes like this again. The ratings for season 11 are pretty good so far and I hope it does not go down too much because of a minor episode. it went from an episode with 9.4/10 to 7.2/10. That's a below average ep by 12% . I still enjoyed it a lot and Eugenes acting in this episode was great! Nice Reaction!
I think the next five episodes in 11B are going to be exactly like this one.
They'll be slow, low budget, and flesh out The Commonwealth.
The finally eight episodes of the series will be crazy and all of the saved budget from 11x09 - 11x16 will be put into episodes 11x17 - 11x24 and the series will go out with an EPIC bang.

How did you guys not see the CRM connection back then? It seemed so obvious that Lance, Shira and Calhoun at least knew of CRM being an alliance (though I think Shira and Calhoun are actually CRM) The list of names are going to be people that were traded as As and Bs, im guessing, except that doesn’t explain why April was still in the locked vault, unless CRM hadn’t been able to send someone to get her yet and that’s why it makes the connection between commonwealth & CRM so realistic.

They are closing each storyline thats open. I still think they are trying to finish as best they can with AMC canceling. Im ok with Eugene and disagree ...dont need more Connie.

Still waiting to see if we get to see Rick in the end. This episode was a joke to me. Eugene investigating like a detective to find a spy? SO LAME. The poppy farmers? Did the writers attempt to write a crappy version of Ozark. I am only hanging on because I like to finish things. This show is crap to me.

@@arrydzn9139 No one cared in the Comic story line either, my opinion, it's why Kirkman finally ENDED it. There just was no where else to go with the EXISTING characters. I notice that NONE OF THE VOICES that were here in Seasons 9 & 10 are here in the comments now. They jumped all over people who said they weren't watching anymore about being LOYAL but they're NOT HERE EITHER! Some of them, I'm sure, still watch but they don't comment anymore... hypocrites!
The farm plot was terrible.
This was a wasted episode. Like so many before. For the love of Odin, please use the last season to squeeze every minute for long-time fans. This is crap.
