The original comment said "imagine how much they have to drink to get drunk" and you answered with not much, you be surprise.. n you mentioned body fat, clearly these guys arent 10% body fat or less they proba bly atleast 20%+, so yes they would need a lot of beer to get drunk. In my opinion this is one of the most impressive things to watch these men do. We can’t fathom overhead pressing 405 lbs or deadlifting 1000 lbs, but we know how a frying pan feels and know how ridiculous it is to be able to roll it up.
These guys bending frying pans like it's their jobs. I bet even Gordon Ramsay would be intimidated if they did this in his kitchen.

Watch some of the older WSM competitions, they had Sumo for the final challenge. Started in the 1981 WSM.

WOW IF THESE GUYS CAN BEND FRYING PANS IMAGINE WHAT PROFESSIONAL BODYBUILDERS COULD BEND WITH ALL THEIR MUSCLE?
I get the joke and sarcasm because these guys don’t look like bodybuilders. I don’t know where the belief that professional bodybuilders are weak came from though. Yeah they get depleted to go on stage and often times have a different training philosophy than powerlifters or strongmen. But their life revolves around training and lifting weights as well as having a strong work capacity and putting as much muscle on their frame as possible. Of course pro bodybuilders are ridiculously strong.
Seth T not really. Bodybuilders don't train for strength, they train for size. It also rely on how well they train for certain muscle. Powerlifters train the main core in their muscle. That is where true strength lies. Let me give you an example of a famous martial artist in China: Bruce Lee. It is a known fact that he can hold a 70lb in front of his chest in a standing position and maintain that position for 30+ second. Can any bodybuilder do that? Maybe, but the possibility is no because holding a weight in the standstill position require some good strength. Just because you can push the weight does not mean you can play around with it. Not to mention Bruce Lee was not even that big when he did that.
