I’m a Nats fan and even though I always hated when he plays against us...but I root for him when he play against everyone else..imagine if he didn’t die the marlins wouldn’t trade anyone and they would’ve been at least a playoff team if not in the mix every year up to this point with all that talent.

Same goes for the cards when Oscar died. Dude was gonna be a star. We went to the playoffs the year he died, missed the next 2 years. We just finally got back to the playoffs after 3 years. But we still haven’t seen the success we had prior to his passing. Been very mediocre with spurts of great stretches.

When you play seven games in seven days, ten games in ten days, thirteen games in fourteen days, eventually there will be a day when every team plays horribly bad. Bad pitching, bad fielding, bad hitting, or all three.

Some days you're the windshield, some days you're the fly. On these days the "good" teams were the fly, and got splattered all over the "bad" teams' windshield.
