Appreciate the comment mate. I've got playlists for all High Elf factions. I highly recommend my "legendary formations" video, as battles play very differently in TW and knowing these things early would have really helped my campaigns! Cheers
Well i think Alith Anar deserve 5 full star at millitary. Just imagine skaven ambush mechanic plus HE martial mastery and deadly achers. Due that reasons i think Nagarythe is the most powerful HE factions. But i do agree about average economy and sub par geography. Thnks for the vid!
Thanks for the comment and for sharing your views and for taking the time to justify. As for military, I initially went into this thinking the same but he just fell so slightly under when compared to other 5 star militries. Discussion like this could definitely have me convinced and I will redo the series for the final game 3 map so this is all working towards something! Btw, I do believe there is a very strong case for Nagarythe having the most explosive potential though it is subject to more luck and some very hard battles to work it.
He is almost there but the big downside is the lack of armour piercing missiles in his shadow troops, that drops him a bit. I played him and sisters of twilight and the sisters of twilight basic armour piercing archers are just insane in the late game.
@@ElvenPlotArmour honestly I’d be happy with anything. I’m only a month into this game and just love it. Dark Elf like Rakarth would be interesting because of his taming mechanic, but I will take whatever I can get. Your quality was so great
He's definitely more advanced than Tyrion and Alarielle but once you've secured his borders and eliminated Morathi he can absolutely explode. Must try!
Good stuff mate! I really appreciate having some newer guides for older content since I only just got a PC that can handle the game and there have been so many patches that guides from like 3 years ago can have details that aren't true anymore.
Cheers mate. Honestly, everything pre-2021 is honestly out of date. Some of these races I was honestly surprised just how much an extra DLC lord nearby can shake up the campaign. Glad it helped, appreciate the sub!
Started a nagarythe campaign and taking out Taurox was a real pain. Had to make a beeline for him early on because his blood grounds were shooting up corruption in a couple of my provinces.
While Alith Anar is incredibly strong hearing all the variations people have had with him shows how much can happen there. In general, unless I can comfortably wipe them out with a rapid campaign I tend to ignore the beastmen until there is a comfortable gap between conflicts as they often steer clear if your BoP is high and the cost of removing them doesn't really bring you much but weakens you enough any opportunistic neighbors might pounce on your borders. Corruption can be a pain but it might be worth just building up a Shrine to deal with corruption as Morathi's old holdings will have it too. See my Nagarythe guide goes through some easy choke points and allies to manage. You can always military all with a northern neighbor and declare war as a hands off way of dealing with them ;) Anyway, thanks for sharing, I learn a lot from hearing how people's campaigns went. Cheers for the comment and sub.
I remixed elements from other game themes together and added some extra strings, choral synths and horns to make something a bit more uplifting. I went to more effort this time because the music I wrote on my oldest vids was dull and makes me cringe haha
@@ElvenPlotArmour you did great! After watching your video(really good btw) I spent the better part of an hour sitting there going through the ost trying to find which song it was lol
the fact that a lot of ulthan is not ideal climate for ALith Annar sucks, I wish there was a mechanic that if you confederate the area that faction is in, if its their ideal climate for their faction, just that area, does not count as not ideal for that campaign, would this be to over powered? I do not mean make it available to have their ideal climate choices added to alith anars options just that ffactions home area only.
Climate was horrible in WH1, but in WH2 I love it! Tbh. Honestly, having climate suitability that changes would be OP, but this is why the current climate system is great: it adds a huge amount of difference in the way factions from the same race play by virtue of the incentive to expand in different directions. Orange suitability isn't that bad, it just means you should prioritise those green ones first. Ulthuan still makes a boatload of cash for Naggarythe. Also, playing as Tyrion you can consider keeping Naggarythe as an ally to build up the provinces before you confederate him as he can do it quicker and cheaper ;) Red is the only climate which you should actively avoid unless you have time to settle it. On legendary I often raze them in the short term and recolonise when I have breathing room.
All a learning curve and balancing act keeping the value high and run time condensed. The newer vids keep improving and I appreciate the feedback. Cheers mate.
@@ElvenPlotArmour yeah I got the gist you're trying to jam alot of content into a small run time. Definitely meant the comment in earnest and not trying to bash you. I'm obviously watching the vid. Keep it up and keep getting better. Just try to make your audio sound closer to how it would sound when naturally conversing with someone 👍🏼
Can’t believe this doesn’t have more views! I’m just getting into the game but this video helped me understand the faction a LOT better.

Hagrid. Nothing is scarier than getting caught by imrik with a dragon stack in ambush... while they are attacking!!!

Super useful as always. Haven't tried alith Anar yet, next time I go HE I'll roll him.

Hey so sorry if this sounds dumb but can someone tell me which song from the OST is playing during the video?
