Hello i just bought the rg280v with preinstalled games, do you recommend to switch out the cards to better quality cards. And also is it just to drag and drop. I would really appreciate your help thanks.
It is generally recommend to use the better card but i had no problems with the one that came with the device. And yes, it is just drag and drop. You need to use the microsd card reader though.
It really depends on where you get it but Zelda Minish Cap is one of the common ones they usually put in so I wouldn't worry too much. If anything you can easily find one on your own.
@@SpinRetro Oh thank god, I have never owned any of the original console and my first one was a ps3, I'm particularly hooked on soulsborne type games and rpgs. Hi, While playing a Playstation 1 game, do you by any chance know which key combination you need to press to exit the game and return to the menu and then to the initial list of playstation 1 titles ?
@@SpinRetro so as I imagined.. ( while Iplaying a playstation 1 game ) there is no way to return to the titles games menu of the playstation 1, right? I have to shut down with the "power button" or use the "reset button" to restart the console. I thought there was a key combination to go back to titles from playstation 1.
When I enter the emulators and choose an emulator I can no longer see the list of games and select a game that starts. Only folders open and I can't start any games! What have I unintentionally changed, how can I get back to playing?
My device is also mostly in Chinese and I can not play any NES or SNES roms. Always get a blank screen or sent back to the game menu. Furthermore when connecting to the computer it charges but does not open the device. Just for my understanding: USB connection should also allow me to see the folders and modify, correct?
Whats the quality of the SD cards they put in this device? I assume its mass produced non-brand SD cards that have a risk of failure. This is a pretty decent ROM collection that they put on here.
It’s not the best because their rom file name starts with 3 digit number 000, 001 and because of this, it’s hard to find a game without knowing the number (the system sorts the games alphabetically but the numbers in front of them mess this up). But the collection wise it isn’t so bad.
Thanks for the video, any Indiana Jones games? I’ve been researching for a few months now on a retro handheld to purchase for my first and can’t justify the rg351 price at this point. Came across this device recently and am curious
You are right. That 256gb card listed in the video description might be misleading. Thanks for pointing that out. You are correct in thay RG350 and RG280 support up to 2 - 128gb cards.

Rgb20 is much more powerful and is based on odroid go. However there are several cons to that device compared to RG280V. Rgb20 screen ratio is 3:2, it is considerably bigger than rg280v, and the plastic is cheaper qualiry. I still think there is a market for rg280v. Some people even may prefer Opendingux for retro gaming.
I’ve collected most of these and just received the rgb20, and honestly it’s pretty awful. 2 of the buttons on my rgb20 get stuck regularly. It also feels cheap and the triggers are hard to reach because the gap for your fingers is small. I’d stay away from the rgb 20 and get the 350m, 351p or even the retroid pocket 2. The rp2 is pretty decent even with the shortcomings.
