I hear you and I was feeling the same way when I attended The Reunion and I got to shake hands with all seven of them, and while Eddie was doing his solo act I was at the door of the dressing room area talking to Otis.... He was a kind gentleman and deserves all of the accolades that he gets....😊😊😊😊💯💯💯💯
Thats a good one You def need bass in your voice with those children Oh my goodness Far as the Temptations Im a fan for life this is the first time I saw this interveiw Melvin and Eddie both very well spoken ❤RIP both Eddie and Melvin ❤😢😢
I think if David Ruffin was on point by showing up for all the shows, it would’ve been much more successful. Eddie, David and the Temps line at that time, needed this reunion show. Eddie and David’s solo careers fizzled out by this time, the Temps didn’t have a hit so this reunion show was a major boost for all their careers.
Everyone involved needed this tour. Eddie, David, and the Temps needed this! It was a big deal. They should’ve done an HBO special or TV special with the reunion. Eddie wanted to stay in the group but Otis went back to the 5 man line-up when the tour dates were done.
They are sitting on the floor of the Fisher Theatre. It aired on channel 7 abc news in Detroit in 1982, am not sure if the interviewers name. Perhaps will do some research and see if I can find out.
Melvin was such a sweet person. You can tell. And his voice was one of a kind.
Melvin's voice ..that's a BASS!!
Temptations Forever!!!! Melvin, Otis, Eddie, Paul, David, let's not forget Dennis .... Thanks for All the Great Music!!!
And Ollie
And every single man that has put on the suit in honor since
@@glendatheartist Absolutely! I enjoy the Temptations music from the 60's and 70's.
Definitely let's not forget Dennis.... Dennis was the 6th Temptation and Hall of Famer....😊😊😊😊
“Paul, he’s the only one missing.” That shit hit me like a mack track. I wish Paul had been there.

@ Great story! Otis signed my rare Asian market copy of Whole Lot O Soul
Eddie really humble, she was fishing and no fish in water.
Handled it like only an intelligent man could. That comment on Paul was precise and quick.
I said the same thing 🤣
She's not a good interviewer the moment was too big for her
Yea I got that from her as well....basically asking the same question differently. The vibe was off

They actually said Eddie didn’t like Melvin cause he felt like the group didn’t need a bass singer.

Melvin was Rick James uncle. And Rick produced standing on the top from that album
No clarification that they were true bloodline.
They weren't blood related but for those Melvin considered as friend, he called them his cousin.
Melvin also said he was related to Richard Street.
awesome!!
I love the Temptations❤🙏👑
My idol growing up 👆
Too bad she didn’t prepare for that opportunity. She was weak. Love Eddie❤. What a voice!
This tour/reunion could’ve been so much bigger than it was. It started in 1982 and ended in 1982.

If That BASS Were Mine ??? $$$$ Every Day.
The interview lady respectfully wanted to experience Melvin’s Bass😅
I don’t blame her! His pure spirit is infectious! ❤️😂
A young Dayna Eubanks doing the interviewing for WXYZ Channel 7 in Detroit
Who is the interviewer? It looks like their sitting on the floor, am i right?

The interviewer is mediocre, but Eddie is so handsome. And even his speaking voice draws you in.
