Indian Motorcycle - Springfield model with slip on Rinehart exhaust

- Freshly installed Rinhart Exhaust on a 2016 Indian Springfield. The sound is much more pronounced in person. It has a very satisfying low rumble. The quality of the pipes is top notch and the install was quite quick.
Edit - I recently upgraded to stage 2 cams and performance air, check out the new sound to compare

I would have to say it's a dishonor To run those pipes that quiet! on that Indian motorcycle!!!? you went to all that trouble and expense to change the exhaust for that quiet sound! unbelievable
Lol, not sure about that. That said, this is after stage 2 cams and their perfomance air intake. Lumpier idle for sure. Likely still too quiet for ya lol.

Thought I recognized that ride. Sounds awesome
I’m a harley-guy.Your bike is beautiful.I’d love to take it for a spin.
Hey Kram, thanks for the comment. I feel fortunate to have my dream bike. You should hit a dealership and take one out. It is likely going to surprise you. Ride safe.
Just beautiful man
Thank you. I am very happy with it.
I’m working hard to get me one of this nostalgic machines, one thing I’m planning on doin is keep it original, I don’t need to tell everyone that I’m coming or going. That’s my Olán but I’m miles away of collecting this amount of mony.😅😅😅
Best of luck in your efforts man. I have had this bike since new in 2016 and have put tons of miles on it. Great machine.
@@doronikgjcs thanks
Sounds awesome!
Thanks, Alan. I am very happy with it.
My dream bike 🤩❤❤❤❤
Mine too. :-)

Great
Sounds perfect 👌🏻
Great sound. Don't know why some Indian TS111's have that tinny sound. Ride Safe.
Thanks man. I find the stock exhaust tinny as well and much prefer the Rineharts. Keep the shiny side up.
I picked up my 2017 brand new last one in box in April this year and already have slightly over 15000 K - wow what a ride - what a bike! Love it. All stock though...your pipes sounds great! Noticed your toe pegs and also your comment on fortnine - the website says won't fit 2017 Springfield - looking at your bike they should - any advice? Thanks !
I have noticed different sites saying things won't fit the Springfield but they do. The toe rests are by Kuryakyn and as you can see, they do fit. The Rineharts are a true slip and the fit and finish are great. If you are looking for some extra growl, I can highly recommend the pipes.
Thank you...yes I will order from fortnine. Love the sound and would love to know where to get the Rineharts. :-)
I bought them from Fortnine as well.
Hi. Thanks for the video. I hear the catalytic converter is responsible for much of the excess heat in this engine. Do your slip ons do away with the catalytic converter?
PS. I don't like real loud pipes as I have an intercom/MP3/phone on my helmet. Are these pipes excessively loud?
Hi, the slips on are installed after the catalytic converter and thus do not have any impact on it. Lots of people have removed the which has helped with the heat build up on the right side of the bike. I think this will be more noticeable for folks riding in hotter climates. I have noticed the heat for sure on warm days and have contemplated removing the cat but honestly it has not been THAT bad that I felt like tearing the exhaust apart.
I might do this as a winter project. That said, this is not like you are sitting on a charcoal grill and is not noticeable to me under speed. The bottom line this is a huge air cooled engine and you will feel some heat but I think it really depends on your locale and riding situations as to how much it might bug you. Tons of bumper to bumper traffic...Yeah I can it bugging folks. The odd traffic light and some light traffic...nope.
Best of luck.
Thanks Doronik. I feel the heat more with the windshield on but in the summer months I generally ride without it unless I'm traveling. In your opinion would the addition of an oil cooler be advisable. I was told it wouldn't help much with felt heat but would cool the engine some. Trying to make some decisions:) I traded in my Yamaha Stratoliner for the Springfield and the Springfield is very different in many ways but I do miss the Strat seat which was flatter and wider. Take care and thanks for the info.
I have never had the windshield on since it rolled off the floor. I can't stand the buffeting. As for the oil cooler, it is not needed in my opinion unless you are in a hot hot area, towing a trailer or like the fairing bikes, blocking off air flow.
One thing that helps is the Power Commander PCVX It allows the bike to run richer which in turn helps some. I would say if the heat is really bugging you, gut the cat out. i have just not reached the point where the effort is worth it.
As for the seat, yeah I have had better and worse. I have had mine modified with a gel pack which helps but I can see an Ultimate seat in my future.
@@duke927 I've had two Stratoliners, still have an 2014 model. What year is your springfield and how does the handling, street and parking lot manners, and hyw engine vibration, and power compare to your strat of the past, Was your Stratoliner stock?, I trying to decide on my next ride
Nice sound. I may trade my 2017 same model for the 2020 Roadmaster Burgundy with Tan seats. Is that backrest from Indian? My buddy just bought the Indian Chieftain Limited Ruby Red with the backrest and rants and raves about the backrest in a big way. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Good luck with your bike choices. The backrest is from Indian. I have been told it is comfortable. I love the quick detach feature of it. It is pricey though.
@@doronikgjcs thanks
Nice mean sound. Is that a stock air intake?
Yes. It does have a K&N filter but it is stock. It looks slightly different as I removed the 111 badge off it and revealed some nice script underneath that I prefer.
Does your War Bonnet Fender light illuminate?
It sure does. It provides a nice touch.
😎😍🤠👌👍👍👍👀
Dios te acompañe en tu camino hermano saludos desde México 🤟
What rider backrest are you using? Doesn’t look like Indians.
It was an aftermarket one. I have since sold the seat and dont recall the name.

Go one more step and get the fuelmoto jackpot cat delete.
How fast does it go? Please answer me.
Fast enough to kill ya. No idea what the top speed is.
Love these bikes...just not in love with that much exposed/extended frame neck. I'd get used to it though. Love the polished engine. Sound is killer. Love the red paint.
Does anyone know which hard bags these are??
Those are the stock bags that come with the bike.
Почём цена?
Sorry, had to translate that out from Russian. You asked the price. At the time, it was 27K CAD. While it is a serious amount of money for a motorcycle, I don't regret spending a single penny on it. Love this thing.
@@doronikgjcs Однозначно прелесть конечно, хотя, пожалуй, слишком тяжёлый.
