And we are back to Battle Shorts.
This video features a new style of game mode we are exploring locally, Hybrid Conventional/Reinforcement list choice, players are individually able to choose if they wish to run a Conventional 300 pt list or a Reinforcement 350 pt list.
In this game I chose to run 350 pts of NCA Reinforcements vs 300 pts Tohaa in Panic Room.

It's so frustrating when the dice don't roll according to the laws of statistics....

Yeah but you can play through it.
For my part it just meant accepting that I had to prioritise what I wanted to achieve and be willing to let the room pts and an order or two slide.
And focusing on the late game helped as well.
I did have to think pretty quick with that squalo loss but as much as it hurt the dice came back decisively in my favour with my final orders

Yeah we are keen to explore the missions which make it an interesting choice. I do wish cb did more with it however

I noticed you and a few other players putting the TAG in the smaller combat group, I assume that is because you keep it at range and only use it to clear AROs but are there any other reasons why?
Also do you think its worth it giving the Squalo Mk1 Fairy Dust for -6 vs hackers when stacked with the ECM?

So if Im running a build like this, which is a mix od close assault elements (auxilia) core support (bolts) tag lt and bits then the role of the tag is to force heads down so assault elements can close.
This more limited role coupled with self supply of 3 orders makes firesupport tags a solid g2 pick.
That should all be taken with the caveat that if the tag is an heavy assault tag like a triphammer.
Or if its role is broader than just fire support. Then you probably want it in g1.
