Instructions for revised video uploaded on August 20, 2024 -
Step #1: Follow the walkthrough to summon Draconnet, link summon Link Spider and Linkuriboh.
Step #2: Link summon Splash Mage underneath Link Spider using Draconnet and Linkuriboh as link material. Activate Splash Mage's effect to summon from graveyard.
Step #3: Link summon Transcode Talker underneath Link Spider using Splash Mage and another monster. Activate Transcode Talker's effect to summon Splash Mage from graveyard.
Step #4: Link summon Honeybot on the right side of Transcode Talker using Link Spider and Splash Mage as link materials. Special summon Backup Secretary in defense mode and set your Cynet Crosswipe spell face down, then end your Turn 1.
Step #5: Activate your Cynet Crosswipe spell to destroy your opponent's attacking monster at the start of the Turn 2 Battle Phase; use Backup Secretary as the tribute card for Crosswipe.
Step #6: You will now try to normal/special summon enough monsters to link summon Accesscode Talker. Be advised that what happens beyond the Turn 1 walkthrough is completely random.
Review each of the four playthroughs below to understand how you can get both Transcode Talker and Accesscode Talker on your field and use Accesscode Talker's card destruction effects to your advantage. Click the timestamp on the left side to skip directly to a specific playthrough.
[0:01] Playthrough #1 - Defeat opponent on Turn 3; Accesscode Talker linked summoned to the right side of Transcode Talker using Code Talker and Honeybot as link materials. Remove opponent's monster with Accesscode Talker's destruction effect. Link summon Link Spider above Transcode Talker with Gadget Token. Direct attack opponents' empty field and reduce opponent's LP to zero.
[5:49] Playthrough #2 - Defeat opponent on Turn 5; Accesscode Talker linked summoned above Transcode Talker using Code Talker and Honeybot as link materials. Summon Honeybot from graveyard using Transcode Talker's effect. Remove opponent's monsters/cards with Accesscode Talker's destruction effect. Direct attack opponents' empty field.
[15:15] Playthrough #3 - Defeat opponent on Turn 5; Accesscode Talker linked summoned to the right side of Transcode Talker using Code Talker and Honeybot as link materials. Remove opponent's monster with Accesscode Talker's destruction effect. Opponent's Life Points reduced to 400 at the end of Turn 3. Attack face-up Gouki link monster and reduce opponent's LP to zero on Turn 5.
[22:26] Playthrough #4 - Defeat opponent on Turn 5; Accesscode Talker linked summoned to the right side of Transcode Talker using Code Talker and Honeybot as link materials. Remove opponent's monster with Accesscode Talker's destruction effect. Opponent's Life Points reduced to 400 at the end of Turn 3. On Turn 5, remove opponent's monsters/cards with Accesscode Talker's destruction effect. Direct attack opponents' empty field and reduce opponent's LP to zero.

This was the most unfair fight in the history of this game, and this game has the SP deck challenges. How is this meant as a 2 difficulty introduction match? My ai acted completely differently, linking everything away before attacking, activating those effects to then summon 3+ more monsters, to link, to summon, and going for an OTK, but I was able to somehow beat it thanks to your opening. I can't thank you enough for saving me hours of rng pain.

LMAO; I don't know what Konami did, but the AI became hyper aggressive in all solo mode practice duels with the loaner decks since the August 8, 2024 update.

My scenario didn’t play out like this, but the video really helps you get started. Set the quick play and that special summon in defense position. Able to get out the 2300 talker and a honeybot. Destroyed my honeybot second turn. Wait for the big link monster then use the quick play to destroy it. Next turn i got out accesscode talker and honeybot. Slammed it for 7200 damage. AI backed off on the fourth turn. Had some links in the fourth. 3 by ny count. Drew Raigeki and attacked FTW. For the record, this first generation (metal raiders) player HATES link summons. I feel like it’s ruined the game. Thanks for the video.

@@albaz8171 i’ve been having a lot of fun with story mode. I quit a lot of duels when they’re link summoning nonstop first turn. Just not worth the effort 😂

got the best luck with 5th strategy requires some RNG for your next draw but it worked enough
when I do this the 9th of October, the bot don't go in to battle phase and starts attacking my dude as yours does. he links summons the 2k beater first. and continues from there
If you have tried a couple of times and the AI is stuck in a loop "thinking" and never enters the battle phase, it is time to try something different. Change your end-of-turn #1 board and follow the alternate method:

What’s crazy is the AI for me never went into battle mode after summoning the two monster they always link summoned before the attack phase I’m so lost 😞 this is really discouraging for new comers.
If the AI just stays in a "thinking" loop and never attacks you on Turn #2, I would suggest to retry the duel with the other method where you only do the walkthrough and end your Turn #1 with no additional setup. Activate Linkuriboh effect during the battle phase on Turn#2...

idk if there was an update but the AI always summons jet ogre against me on two, honestly just feels hopeless if i cant beat the fucking tutorial how can i ever climb ladder
There are 4 playthroughs in this video with the exact same end-of-turn #1 setup. Gouki Jet Ogre has 2000 ATK by default and you have a 2800 ATK Transcode Talker, 2400 ATK Honeybot, plus a face-down Cynet Crosswipe spell and the Backup Secretary for the tribute requirement for Crosswipe. I don't see how that is a "hopeless" situation.
