This is by far my favorite Trx4. Our club bought 12 of them for trail runs. We were also surprised how well it rock crawled. It's not as top-heavy as it looks. Excellent job as usual Greg. Sorry for being so late to the party. UA-cam notifications are a joke.
Would like to hear your opinion on the servo. Enough power? Saw a remark from someone a while back that said they thought it was weak, and replaced it. I think it looks fine, from what I can see.
I got the blue one....LOVE this thing! Diff locks and 2-speed transmission, tires do rub the fenders at extreme angles and frame articulation but is expected and not a big deal. Cut the body more if you want. This is my favorite RC now
I had seen Traxxas has made a video about it, too. But I prefer your channel. If it comes to the upgrades the 2021 Bronco is still the peak for me. But the stock high-lift is quiet impressive. Think we see a lot of Fall Guy's trucks in the near future. I know he had a GMC Sierra Grande but the turn-over shouldn't take much.
I've always wanted a TRX4. I have a 1/10 Summit, which goes anywhere, so I've never pulled the trigger on buying one. But now I guess I better start a "save" jar. Hahaha I almost bought the Bronco version. Happy I didn't. Amazing Truck. Great video as always.
Looks really cool! I got into rc through the scx24 but looking at a 1/10 and the TRX4 seems like where it’s at! This high trail looks awesome! I only wish that it had a deeper bed and clear windows, my kids love putting stuff into my modded scx24 c10’s truckbed and I imagine a TRX4 high trail would be no different. Thanks for the review. Enjoyed seeing you put it through its paces.
I'm an RC guy I like any brand that works well, plays and looks good. But the TRX-4 is the only reason I have a Traxxas, although I also have an old 2WD Rustler as a project to upgrade stuff.
This will be my first RC car and it looks better then all other TRX-4. Before I wanted the Blazer but I got a good price on this High Lift so I took it.
Love it Greg! Thanks for your great review of this beast. Could we possibly get an extra running video of this one? Maybe a running comparison with a regular size trx4 Thanks again 🚗 💨💯
I pretty much built this truck but without the lift kit, when proline came out with a 78 stepside body(4 years ago?), I bought one of the Traxxas grills and made it work. Love the look,
Sweet platform butt Traxxas need's to make this a roller so we can instal a brushless system in about 20 minutes vs. removing stock out of the box, I have 3 17 gallon storage bins full of rtr parts I prefer building rc's to my liking I do have some I leave stock for folks to run when they visit, great review Greg thank's for sharing 😉👍
That thing looks amazing! I know it’s a pipe dream, but I sure wish I could buy it without the throw away electronics. Might have to get a Sport builder kit, the lift kit, this body, a two speed transmission kit and some new wheels and tires. But then it’s hard to say if you even save any money.
I love how Traxxas got into the scale market. I was tempted by the UDR (went with a Mojave), and almost by the Blazer and Bronco TRX4, but I think these Cheyenne's might just make me pony up for a TRX. Awesome looking body and the 'Mickey Thompson' style 8 holes definitely look the business 😎
You can actually. You will just need to swap (or lower) the 110mm shocks for 90mm shocks and you will want to change to the 8239 servo mount. That's what I did.
Ok Greg, what we guys who already own a lifted TRX-4 Blazer version want to know is how and will that K-10 body fit a Blazer chassis with the inner fenders for the mounting! Great video!
First crawler was the Vaterra K10. Why? Because of the body. Love all trucks but the Chevy has always been a favorite. That one will be in my stable before the end of the year. Wow ... so nice! Appreciate your run-down and running video as always.
The K10 Looks Great and with the High-Lift and 2.2's already installed makes it very COOL ... You spoke about sidehill and that of course would be my main concern "LCG" compared to the 21 Bronco (spoiled by the clip-less) maybe a side X side would be a needed Video seeing how they're priced about the same.. ✌🤠👍 HFLPRCing =Having Fun Laughing Playing and RCing 👍😎👍 AOAH =Association of Addicted Hobbiest 🙏 SSPH =Stay Safe and Play Healthy Greg My Friend ❣️
The side hill is good “considering” the CG. It will go over, but I believe it’s impressive how far you can push it. The scene where the camera is on the hood and the truck starts to roll over into the water and gets the hood wet is a great visual indicator of how far it can be pushed.
the thumbnail looked so realistic. just made me remember i used to obsess about the rc of the tamiya ford ranger xlt back when i was a kid. are they still in the market? i think i'm capable of assembling them now. lol
I'm usually not attracted to this type of RC vehicle (mainly due to the slower speeds), but this may have changed my mind. Looks like a blast and still has a little speed for the trails.
My fave body style Chevy. This might make me buy a crawler... but first a drag slash and a limitless 100+ mph build. Oh, and a few hundred bucks of spare parts, and double that upgrading y Slash-ler build to mod 1 gears and a new transmission with a spool.
Looks very awesome! I'm tempted myself! However I feel they missed the opportunity to do a Ford pickup. Yes they did Ford bronco first, then the blazer and it seems like a 76 Ford f250 should've been next and then the Chevy k10. Looks awesome and if they do a Ford pickup in the future, then all's forgiven! I like both makes, especially these years, so very awesome!
I love it's old school look: 70's body shell, deep dish wheels, big wide tires...nice one Traxxas!
Agreed. Just something about the look draws a lot of attention.
I got the ford f150 ranger TODAY loved it right out the box.
This is by far my favorite Trx4. Our club bought 12 of them for trail runs. We were also surprised how well it rock crawled. It's not as top-heavy as it looks. Excellent job as usual Greg. Sorry for being so late to the party. UA-cam notifications are a joke.

It a monster truck 😎🔥😎🔥
This is definitely a nice looking design. They scaled it down pretty good
Me being a Chevy Guy ,I Love my K10 . I put some nice 1.9 beadlock rims and 4.75 tires on , NO annoying body rubbing.
I want one so much. The lift kit, the square body , the details like the chrome, and the fake lock outs on the front hubs, so awesome!!
Oh my gosh it just looks so good! Definitely cooler than all the others. Plus with the lift and big tires it absolutely mobbed everything!
Liked your last comment at the end... and a '79 Ford pickup truck shouldn't be a problem for em since Traxxas is already a Ford licensee
I LOVE it one of my favorite real trucks. Can't wait to pick one up
Nice! They did a great job on this one.
I got the blue one....LOVE this thing! Diff locks and 2-speed transmission, tires do rub the fenders at extreme angles and frame articulation but is expected and not a big deal. Cut the body more if you want. This is my favorite RC now
Great video, looks like you had a great time. Keep up the good work!
I had seen Traxxas has made a video about it, too. But I prefer your channel.

Super gefahren, immer auf der letzten Rille aber nie gekippt!

Definitely the best move Traxxas has made in a while😈
Looks really cool! I got into rc through the scx24 but looking at a 1/10 and the TRX4 seems like where it’s at! This high trail looks awesome! I still have never owned a TRX4 and this one might be why I finally get one.
Well I just found my birthday present, and I know I will love it like I love my life sized '78 GMC Serra Classic
Wow man thank you so much! Can totally see why you're excited for this one💯
I was going nuts having to wait to show it on the channel! 😎Very cool release!
As soon as I saw traxxas release this, I thought “ I hope Greg does a review on this one” thank you!
Excellent unboxing 💯
And cool first run👍
It looks like a beast 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can't wait to get one😁
WOW!!! You had me at the bowtie!! Can't wait for you to take it to the coast were the vanquish went. Great video and keep them coming!!
I bought this same truck, in red, a few days ago. It is pretty awesome!
Not a Traxxas guy, but that looks good.
Me too. It’s very tempting…
Bro one you get a Traxxas you’ll fall in love I have a drag slash, and more but all of them are the best purchases ever 🔥
It would look better on a Element RC Enduro
Exactly what I thought!
I'm an RC guy I like any brand that works well, plays and looks good. But the TRX-4 is the only reason I have a Traxxas, although I also have an old 2WD Rustler as a project to upgrade stuff.

Thanks again 🚗 💨💯
I have a lot of extra footage. But I like your side by side idea. I’ll try. 😊
I love it. I picked mine up yesterday and hit the trails today. A little bit of body rub at full flex is my only complaint.
I pretty much built this truck but without the lift kit, when proline came out with a 78 stepside body(4 years ago?), I bought one of the Traxxas grills and made it work. Love the look,

Absolutly beautiful ! Very nice review, thanks man
Looks great I like it....definitely needs a roll bar to be complete for me...🍺🍺
Yeah, I saw the Traxxas promo photos with the roll bar. Must have!!
@@rcdriver Agree traxxas told me its available together with LED light kit for it...now thats awesome..
Thats what I'm doing with mine, I even have a classic chevy design heartbeat banner for the windshield. It was custom
Traxxas finally convinced me to get a trx4! If it was a stepside I would get 2!!
Traxxas does it again! Can't wait to order mine! 🤘🤘
This body is gonna look great on my Clodbuster!
Hands-down the best of all of those, wow beautiful K 10 specially my favorite color is black wow I love it dang it 😲👍👍
The best Trx4 yet!!! I’ve been asking for this for a long time can’t wait for mine I hope they do more clipless trx4 pickups.
Beatiful looking truck 👍
Outstanding Greg......Nice job !
K10 body looks awsome
Awesome new truck structure in the woods looks like a Bigfoot lodge see if there is any foot prints lol . Take care and stay safe

Traxxas is very ''bad'' for the hobby. Go read a bit about what they do.
@@slottygw2wvw842 I'm aware.
Love the small tweaks to the vids! Getting better and better Greg! Keep it up
Thank you so much my friend!!!
Since the xmaxx for me, having a body without clips is just soooooooooo good!!
I love the Chevy PickUp but wish it wasn't lifted. :( Can you revert this back to the non-lifted chassis.???
You can actually. You will just need to swap (or lower) the 110mm shocks for 90mm shocks and you will want to change to the 8239 servo mount. That's what I did.
Very cool. Finally a body I wouldn't swap-out.
Its pretty sweet. Looks so cool on the trail.
Looks awesome I hope they do a dent side Ford next !!!
Nice Truck, looks like a must have 😝, and a very nice Trail. Thanks for the cool Video 👍
Love it looks like my 79 pickup I had in 1990 👍
I love it!! And NEED one now!! Bad ass truck!!
This is a must buy in Black of course.
Windows painted, can they not leave that to the owner?😑
It's nice to see Chevy pick-up instead of a Blazer
Best looking crawler yet!
Thanks for your great review of this beast
Nice. I can’t wait to throw some of those chrome parts on my Defender 🤣
Love at first sight keep up the great vids 👍
Exactly! Thanks!!
Very nice looking body , I have the 1979 Broncos gonna try and get this one , thanks for the great video's
*I Want to tell you that your video are Wonderful and so amazing 👍 Awesome Cars 😍 : Your video is very creative.*
Ok Greg, what we guys who already own a lifted TRX-4 Blazer version want to know is how and will that K-10 body fit a Blazer chassis with the inner fenders for the mounting! Great video!
I unfortunately don’t have the Blazer. Wish I did so I could help with certainty.
I am using trx4 in South Korea
the video is so good!!
That thing looks like a beast!
First crawler was the Vaterra K10. Why? Because of the body. Love all trucks but the Chevy has always been a favorite. That one will be in my stable before the end of the year. Wow ... so nice! Appreciate your run-down and running video as always.
Can't wait to see Axial's response
Looks nice, now if someone comes out with an upgrade. A drop bed and cantilever shock kit.
The 79 bronco looks the best!! However The holes for the boby clips suck but it still looks better!
We need some Mopar bodies
The body looks awesome 😎😍
The K10 Looks Great and with the High-Lift and 2.2's already installed makes it very COOL ... That is a awesome truck. Can't wait to buy one...it's beautiful
It is! Enjoy it, I had an awesome time with it so far.
I built something very similar to this a year and a half ago out of a txr4 sports spare parts, lol Awesome new rig nonetheless! Nice action shots!
SPECTACULAR!!!
It’s a nice rig but I’d hate to scratch it up I’d have to have 2 bodies one for display and one for trailing
It was painful scratching it lol
the thumbnail looked so realistic. just made me remember i used to obsess about the rc of the tamiya ford ranger xlt back when i was a kid. are they still in the market? i think i'm capable of assembling them now. lol
Now they need a long bed 85 ford or a 78 high boy ! Renewing rivalries for another generation
SQUARE BODY NATION!!!!!! #1
Thas nice!! i know thats gonna be one of your go to trucks!!👍🏁
This has a great looking body and seem to glide for the rocks. Thanks for sharing.
It was honestly a blast to drive through that stream bed.
Can't believe how deep it went, maybe pop some paddle tires on it at the lake lol my slash eats it up
I'm usually not attracted to this type of RC vehicle (mainly due to the slower speeds), but this may have changed my mind. Looks like a blast and still has a little speed for the trails.
I felt exactly the same. But I got the 2021 bronco kit and absolutely love it.

Really beautiful America chevy classic its kool man Really i liked 👍😊
Hey that place your at with the trx4 you might have a BIGFOOT in that area.cause that might have been a tree structure.that there know to make!
Wowzer’z… I luv’z my 2021 Bronco… But this think look’z so badass…
Great! What a detail!! I want to have one~~
Super cool 😎 design love they a ready lift it looks great,,, and as always sr a very informative and well explained video thanks for sharing man 👨
Man that’s so awesome 🤩 reminds me of Marty’s truck in back to the future.. hope they come out soon in the UK looks so scale wow
A Chevy reminds you of a Toyota?
How did you mount the camera on the truck for the hood pov
Damn, it looks great and looks like it runs great.
Need it in highway saftey orange. My first truck. Orange crush an absolute road warrior .
Very cool rig
Would be great if they did a kit version so we can build it ourselves
I'm not wild about crawlers and trail trucks but I may have to get this lol
It looks so good 😎
I know right. When it first landed, I sat there and drooled Homer Simpson style. 🤤
did you have to plug your vent holes going in the water or are these wheels not vented?
hello man , aah nice ! i love you'r vdo's

When Traxxa$ makes a roller version of this, I may buy it. While they have the junk electrics, I'm not touching it!
Nice truck 👍👍
Nice looking truck
Thats a looker right there
