Even better if you stack foundations and then delete them it removes a perfect 4m square shape for even more precise destruction (you just don't get the materials for deleting the terrain)

And they call it a mine." just a tip: when playing with controller you can R3 click and the aim of building mode will change into a dot sorrounded by a square. When this happens your shapes will most likely search for the most close one to be built next/upon. For instance: you probably wouldn't have to jump to place the top of the columns. thx for the vid.

I like using the luminous as "Terrain" when building it. I feel like the blocks are kinda corny if over used. You can spam it infinitely if you place 1 terrain block, then use a rake to extend it 😋
Interesting build for sure, but I think I'd use a bunch of yellow light in the form of torches or light bugs because that blue light just doesn't work for me. It is a cool block to know about though!

nice base, quick tip to save you hours. in build mode select biggest terrain shape and just delete rock dirt etc. cave walls. instead of slow pickaxe

It really is a great block. I think that cave is the only one that has it in the early game. You'll come across it in larger quantities later on.

It would have been cool to do an uncut walkthrough of the build at the end. but other then that I like it and going to implement some of your ideas

For those floors at 5:50 you need more colored blocks like red ones, it's how I built my floors in the game core keeper with colored light flooring.
More colored floor options would be fantastic.

Not within the cave, though once you eventually expand the altar size, you could put farms outside the cave
