So many of these exploits that become “news worthy” have this *little* caveat that the hacker would need to physically be on your computer first or first use a different exploit. This one, where they would first need kernel/root access to use this exploit, the reason I say it’s not a vulnerability is because you basically need that level of access to do anything. You’ve already been “hacked” by the time they use this additional exploit. Whatever they first do to get root/kernel access is the vulnerability. After that, pretty much anything can be done, hence why I say this exploit isn’t news worthy.
If you want to be told about easy kernel exploits, there's a whole show dedicated to it. Pretty sure it's called DEFCON and not Techlinked News, though. Now remove yourself of your breathing responsibility.
Regarding the Patreon Situation: iPhone users should start using the browsers when paying to support their creators. The Audacity of Apple charging 30% on the transactions while even Patreon itself charges a fraction of that is unbelievable.
Who knows but I'm sure it will have half the battery life as a normal phone and will shatter if you look at it wrong. A giant bulky case will be required to use it, rendering the whole idea pointless.
