The metal guy might help you husband move the water heater to get it for metal! Great work on the basement!
Sometimes I want a blueprint layout of the basement to follow along better heheh 😂
Same!
ME TOO!!!
I'm glad you were able to let the play mat be donated....I've hung onto those and the plastic backing deteriorates after a while and then its too gross for kids to play with.
This was a good one!! I like when you talk while organizing and decluttering🎉🎉
So glad the my little ponies are safe. It’ll be fantastic when you can display them all too. Miss Pepper 🐈 is such a wonderful support and supervisor checking all the new spaces. You will definitely achieve clearing, sorting and reorganising the basement this summer. You certainly deserve your own craft area too. Have a great week. Mary, Joes wife 🙇♀️👏💪👍🙏💐🐈🦄
I took some of my childhood collectables and will decorate with them seasonally (Cherished Teddies). I kept my favorites and gave away the others. I am sure I will go through them again when the mood strikes me and if I feel I can let go of more, I will. I find it very interesting having attachment to something and give it 6 months to a year and you feel differently.
Pepper is seriously the best. She has really been there for you as we've all watched you grow and grow. You're not just growing at this point, you've reached a place of thriving!!!
I hope Pepper is doing well! She's been looking a little chonky lately. Hopefully just some winter fat.
@@amara560 I think she looks gorgeous with her big beautiful eyes, and lovely fullness! ❤️🤗♥️🌸
@@susanmunoz7688 She is a gorgeous cat! But it is imperative for a cat's health to be at the right weight so they can stay happy and healthy for a long time. It's very easy to find pictures online of the correct silhouette for cats that indicates the healthiest weight. Since we as humans control their diet it is very important we pay attention to this.
I'm so happy to see you are getting stronger and stronger. You are doing an awesome job. Your pace has picked up. And, your focus is getting it done this year. That's fantastic.
Three old door mats, an old tarp , one winter robe that is no longer cuddly, and old socks went out with this morning’s trash pick up. A scrapper drives thru our neighborhood on trash days looking for metal out on the curb . 🎉❤
I just love Pepper!! 💖💖💖
Have you thought about getting rid of all of the large items (furniture, exercise stuff, etc) in your basement that aren't being used so you can enjoy more room?
I believe the chair is sentimental (breastfeeding chair) and I think hubby uses the exercise equipment.
The title is so right. Declutter. Organize. Repeat. Amen!
You consistency is remarkable and your progress is amazing! Thank you for sharing your inspiring journey!
Seeing the stuff you kept inspired this hoarder to get rid of more. I was cheering for you to let go of more stuff. We all are on our own path. Small things let go of is still progress.
The rugs are going to be a real fun blessing to some precious little ones! Good job Ms Heart! We love you..❤️🤗♥️
The basement looks so much better
Excellent progress.
You are absolutely Adorable ❤ and motivational 🙏🏻Thanks 🎉
Great job again today. Will you eventually do a big con marie on all your different catagories? I would love to see this once you finally finish the basement declutter.
I have a suggestion for school stuff.
I use big photo albums and keep the stuff in those. You can either use the peel sleeves or buy the open ended sleeves.
It’s basically scrapbooking but without all the extra stickers, glitter, glue, or WORK.
Miss Pepper is the secret star of this section! She is there by your side, helping you see the lighter side & provide comforting purrs when you feel the pull of the past. She is the best and your videos really help me to get to grips with my own feelings. 💖
You’ve done a wonderful job decluttering and organizing your space. Hope you’re healed up and taking care
Remember when you used to show us throwing the items away once you made the decision? I think it’s time to go back to that so you don’t miss stuff :)
I'm very nostalgic, too, on kid items. You should take photos of things like the play rug etc. So you can still have the memories.
I LOVED My Little Ponies! You have an awesome collection! Now you can keep it where you can get to it! 💖
So proud of your progress and all your new empty bins form the Yard Sale. Consider continuing putting items you want in bins instead of out where they can get wet. Also consider relocating the party supplies and gift wrapping paper and bags on a shelf height is mt accessible and the sentimental items together. Similar to having the craft bins together. Would love to see a whole basement tour! Where you are now. Best wishes!!! Praying for your new job/income stream!
If those are the newer style packing peanuts, they can be washed down the sink, they’re made of potato or corn.
I can’t wait for you to have your own display cases. How wonderful to walk down the stairs and be surrounded by items that bring you joy.
I have been a long time follower and this has been an amazing journey for you. I really enjoy how you talk through the disorders (whether that be hoarding, OCD, or ADHD) and explain how the mind processes differently.
Keep up the good work 🥰
I agree. Her explanations have helped me in my adhd. ❤
I also felt the sting. Im sorry some things remind of of your loss. But im glad you processed your feelings. We need to do that in order for us to heal.
So proud of your progress. Happy to see Miss Pepper enjoy her string!!!
Another great day! Loved the video
I hope your corner of the basement for memorabilia and crafts is full of color and sparkles!🦄💖🎇
Yay, you are doing great! ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
A preschool might love the rug!
You should get a tall display case for your my little ponies and put it in your living room, bedroom or basement. That way you can enjoy it and limit the amount to a container. I got a few shadow boxes and did that with son’s first dress shoes and my mom’s 65th birthday tiara. My mom never had a tiara as a child so I got her one for her birthday. My mom passed away. It warms my heart and brings a smile to my face every time I see it.
Your losing Imagination is reality for many! No hoarder here, but childhood items lost in a flood - i still search for the things online...
I really enjoy your videos! We have a lot in common as far as the things that we've collected over the years. And I think that my hoarding is very close to what you have taken control of. Your videos help me out quite a bit and I think you for all of your help and the way that you explain what makes us do what we do!
I love you, you are such an amazing person 💗
Do the boys have memory bins, that way they keep the special items and the rest can be let go. Dawn the minimal mom has treasure bins for the kids for school stuff or projects they made and when it’s full they can go through it and toss the old treasures that way it’s only temporary, that way you don’t have bins and bins of school stuff they bring home. Is hubby going to build you a craft room or are you just setting up an area in the basement for one? You could almost start setting it up and start getting certain categories going so you have a place as you go through a bin. What I used years ago was a dresser so I could have 1 drawer for gift bags and for party stuff, and as my daughter changed what she wanted for her bday themes I gave away the old stuff, just cuts down on keeping the outgrown stuff.
Love to see you and Miss Pepper so happy and healthy!
4:51 Take it from a childfree minimalist - The house will never be paper free. Paper breeds worse than rabbits. If you set a piece of paper down and turn off the light, two (or ten) more papers will be there when you turn the lights back on.
Edit: Great job on out the new space!
😂😂😂 that’s so true and obviously what’s happening in our house
Untrue. I don’t read magazines or newspapers & recycle ♻️ brouchures straight from mailbox to recycle bin.
@ashleycaldereous5339 very true!! Paper breeds faster than rabbits!
I am so proud of you and your family x as you know I have been a supporter of you and your channel for years ……. You are such an inspiration from 🇬🇧
Hello from Germany, hi Miss Heart and miouw pepper.🎉🎉 good job 🎉🎉
Awesome job! 💜🦄💜
Love it
5:41 you looked after your ponies so well!! What a great thing to cherish and care for I hope you can display somewhere beautiful one day.
Yes!!! Ready for some motivation!!
I had that same Lickety Split and Wind Whistler pony type when I was little! I named my baby sister Megan after the girl who helped the ponies in the My Little Ponies movie from the '80s.
I'd love a simple drawing of the room layout and maybe an arrow of which area we're working on that day (I'm saying "we" but I know you're the one doing the work lol). Is that possible or a big headache editing wise? Like a "you are here" map.
your decluttering journey reminds me so much of the saying 'how do you eat an elephant? one bite at a time'
😊❤️ your doing great
Your My Little Pony’s are in incredible condition!!! My pony’s were ragged, cutie marks worn off, hair frazzled and cut short 😂 I was ruthless with them. I threw them out in my 20s and tried to find replacements on eBay and they were far too expensive. I approve keeping them in a container rather than a bag
Looks like you are making huge strides. Is love to see a video of what your husband's will do decluttering his things.
I am on the edge of my seat waiting to see the basement all done and organized!
I have a whole room in my house of things that I’ve already made decisions about but hasn’t made it to their destination yet, it’s sometimes harder than making the decisions on!
What a wonderful job today! I’m so glad the ponies have a safe container to hang out in. The play mat could have been a small work area rug for your future crafting area. Memories and productive!
I work my way around the house(apartment) and declutter a different drawer, shelf, or bin each week. Today, I found some things I'd been looking for. My cat, Spot, also enjoys string, ribbon, and yarn. Tina, Al's wife
Lots of fun and emotional support with Pepper Kitty. Not only do we now see cleared out space but great organization with bins that are labeled. Keep those ponies which make you happy. ❤❤
Amazing job as always, awwwww miss pepper is such a blessing
Next time you feel like organizing & especially if you have extra boxes: Consider assigning boxes by type of content so that the same categories are in same/similar boxes. It does take a bit of effort to shift contents into the 'right' box but it makes the space visually cohesive. Plus it's easier to scan the room.
Or at least color-code the labels using colored paper. Updating the labels is something your boys could even help with over the summer.
Yayyy! More progress on the basement! 🥳👏👏👏🦄❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Your hair looks beautiful you are shining such a strong young lady💜🦄
I would love to see an updated what's in my bag from you! Or are you keeping it completely clean now? Thanks for sharing!
Hi, ms pepper was very helpful. : )
Keep the coffee maker to be put later in the crafting space you’ll be creating in the basement!
absolutely great job! I am so proud of you and your assistant Pepper for making progress. your success is inspiring. ❤
thank you for the Kitty Cam (as well as the wonderful decluttering and organizing)
We are about the same age and I feel the exact same about my MLP collection
Omg 😂 lol I had and think maybe still have those same hair clips from the 90s 2000s how funny the exact same ones
Love how Miss Pepper can accompany and body double with you - a lot of times you are my body double, I just get so inspired by watching you that I have to start some small projects too!
Thank you. I am always so encouraged to go through more of my boxes when I am watching you. I tackled so older boxes today which are harder for me, but I got through them!
You can use that toddler carpet in the basement in the play area. If it gets ruined oh well
Great progress!! 👏👏👏👏👏
I think that mat is adorable! It’s so neutral and simple, would be a great piece for the craft room or play area floor, as a memory to the past. Maybe give it a steam clean. From a minimalist perspective, I’d call that a keep ❤️
You have done amazing xx can you let go off that big chair as you would have so much more room x
Wow, that chair is beautifu once all the stuff is gone. If you are planning on keeping it, could you put it to use? Maybe it could be a place for you to sit in the basement when your hubby, children or you are down here doing crafts?
wiring can always be given to a metal guy... any metal.. I've had a metal guy haul off including rusty nails, lamps, appliances... wiring... if your area has an e waste bin usually that can go there... power cords etc.. either if you can call a guy or leave it at the curb.. I've done that as well w smaller bits so metal guys didn't have to make a trip for a few items... I had called when we had cleaned our garage of a car/truck load at a time of stuff.
our old house donates and metal stuffs we left at our pole and it was a Bermuda triangle ( how I met your mother) things quickly disappeared.
hangers, mailers ( no IDs) and peanuts Id donate too.
Your little pony's can sell for big money I like the way your respect hubby's things to let him make a decision
I thought I’d use my 1 c maker but after not using for awhile I finally donated it.
Great job!! 🎉🎉
❤❤❤😊
Another great declutter!
You have come such a long way!! Hi Pepper!
I really liked this style of video, it was really good today!
how about the buggy stored behind new spot for bins?
I was wondering about it too!
Yes Ms Heart is probably hiding it so she doesn’t have to deal with it because she isn’t emotionally strong enough yet.
Hopefully you can finally clear out enough space to make a craft area for yourself! goals!
I wish I could have that kids rug for my baby boy
Good job!
Nice job 😊
Sometimes I have to use that journal called Throw It Away by Guru Notebooks, because I get too attached to stuff.
Good job, you letting the old chair go?
Can't the scrapper help get the hot water heater? Also the wires are also can be scrapped also.
Do you have plans for all the things that are in the storage boxes? Are all those things going to be downsized or are they all keepers? Don’t get me wrong. I know you have come a long way and you have helped me understand how a hoarders mind works but is there such thing as an organizes hoarder. Love your channel.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Omg,…is that an original Applejack?
The toddler rug would be a hard one to let go of because grandkids would use it. Maybe your church nirsery could use it and you could see it there being used?
I'm a little confused. Are you planning another yard sale soon? You only showed 6 empty bins, and those were not from your original stack in the back corner. There were over 20 bins and boxes back there where you were planning to move your craft bins to.
There's little girls out there that would love to play with those ponys.. my daughter had Little ponies too and she outgrew them when she had her son.. or little boys that have no toys to play with.. instead of them being locked up in a box in your basement they could live again in a little girl or boy's eyes
Agreed 👍
She's allowed to keep things that make her happy. No need to get rid of everything.
There's no way she'd get rid of them. She loves them and wants to display them eventually.
Too much still for me, just who I am
Put the rug in a bin. Will be great for grandkids to play with some day.
The rubber backing will be flaked off and gross 20 years from now when grandkids would play with it. Better to let kids now use it 😊 (in my opinion)
@@susanrikimaru6630 You're probably right.
