This makes it a great time to test out some SDXL models, including the recent Proteus V0.3, to see which may be best for your needs. It is pretty awesome in terms of speed increases (about 20% faster for myself I've found). However, the linking to your A1111 folder in the win-user bat file it recommends doesn't recognize sub-folders presently. It sees the contents, but just as one big old list, which if you have a massive amount of embeds, Lora, and checkpoints of various kinds is a huge pain in the ass. The way to resolve this is to instead create symlinks to the A1111 model and embed folders using something like the shell link extension and create a junction link into the applicable web-Forge locations for models and embeds accordingly.
It runs very fast I've tested it. Before SDXL was going above my VRAM limit of 12GB now it fits and because of that it's much faster and the seeds are also compatible. This is just great.

Thanks for the introduction. WebUI never worked for me on M2 Mac, Forge WebUI also have similar issues. Unlucky, back to ComfyUI.
Huh, thanks, I did indeed not yet play with the newly integrated options in Forge, I just took the 70-100% speed gain on my 3070 and used normal workflows for sdxl models like before.
Also nice model review. You could do more of those.
So many models it causes choice paralysis on civitai everytime I visit.

Glad the chunky XL models are finally getting more love.
Unfortunately it is not compatible with some extensions that I use a lot, such as civitai helper, which gives you a direct link in the lora/checkpoint search field.

Do you have any idea where I can keep my upscalers in forge. I cant seem to find the right place...
Forge made it feasible for me to finally use SDXL without ComfyUI while also reducing the of the bloat that slows down A1111. This is the way forward.
Any way to get this working on amd cards? Been trying to change command flags but nothing is working.
I love forge but can't use dreambooth reliably my trained images always come out terrible spent 20 hours now trying different settings. Any suggestions how to train locally besides dreambooth extension? Kohya doesn't work for dreambooth I get black images in my final model so that's not an option.

did someone manage to make sadtalker work in Forge? Everything works fine in 1111 but sadtalker doesnt show in the tab in Forge

May I humbly request advice on symbolic links for model folders with WebUI Forge? I typically use ComfyUI, however doubling up models, loras, etc. isn't ideal. I've tried altering the command line args, however my syntax is likely off. Thanks for any potential aid. Cheers, mates!
Yup, you too can use symlinks for those directories like I do in the video! You may like to have a single, central location where are you save your models, which can then be used for any application

I use forges deforum tab to create animations. I would like to know how to create the animations within a boundary. I projection map so I would like to know how to keep the animations within the map of my house. Would you know how to accomplish this? I have a png map file that I created but unsure what to use it with.

it comes with some bounded nice extentions, except the most useful (adetailer). That FreeU extention is also.. meh, the one i was using on auto was definetly better. for all the rest is great..❤

Hoi, need to ask, Nerdy:
Have you experienced comfyUI or SDwebui whenever generating to just clog up the pagefile on your C drive and borderline breaking stability of windows? Or is it just my setup? :P So whenever i'm done A.I'ing, i have to reboot my pc to flush the pagefile as the darn thing just keeps nibbling on my nvme in the 10's of GB's instead of just using ram to store it's cached nonsense lol.
If you’re constantly paging, the better thing is to get sufficient RAM. I’ve only got small, fixed size swapfile that barely gets used.
does forge work with deforum, i cant get it to work a tutorial would be greatly appreciated.
i found very difficult use the faceID or face swap i cant find the way to use so easy as in automatic 111 the contronet is total diferent

Forge is sooooooooooooo much better
Forge is faster and less buggy, but it can't do tiling yet...essential for my works.
Why lora don`t work in this version

I believe it does support turbo models.

What exact problem are you having?
@@wilbertandrews Fair enough, I was just going off what I'd read. I don't use turbo models though as I don't think the quality is there. Just tried one now and the quality was subpar.

When it comes to photorealism, all these extensions are disastrous: they smooth out the skin, take away detail and give an artificial look. Every time I try them, I prefer the original.

I wouldn't mind an explanation of the SVD and Z123 sections, I can't find any info on them and I don't know which models I should download and where to put them.
Svd isn’t for commercial use and z123 is just 3d

A1111 slow, but it's long run solution, like cruise ship. All solutions like forge is a small boats that Sailing on a cruise ship and for short time can move fast forward - but onlt for short time.
I like Forge and i'm even moved to that for some time - but i know tht after some time forge will be outdated.
I installed and uninstalled because there's not quite enough out there with tutorials etc for a noob like me... but probably a good opportunity for you to make forge content
