- Recently there have been posts and videos about a supposed warning Snail got from NASDAQ. If Snail really did receive this warning what does it mean for Ark SA? Will Ark be shutting down? Will Ark go up for sell? What about Wildcard?

Do you think Snails stocks will go back up?
I think it's excellent news because the only thing that can save ARK is getting sold and otherwise it will die soon enough and they are too corrupted. They are responsible for a lot of the actual hacks and exploits in the game since they were playing themselves. Also since most gamers weren't ready to upgrade to a unreal5 badly optimized game most already rely on old Ark Survival on private servers only.
Yes I think shares will go back up. Snail has some options to consider. I think they will come up with a strategy to the stock price up.
Snail is just a dumb company, I really hope a competent company owns this game that I love....
Would be nice if a good game company got to buy the Ark IP but I doubt snail will ever let it go.

@@sylvainh2o they might get sold If their company went bankrupt. Being removed from the stock market doesn't mean they will it just means they will have a harder time selling shares.
Now hypothetically if they were not smart about it and they put over 51% of their shares out there and one person / company bought all of them up because shareholders just wanted out then technically snail would be owned by the person company that bought up the shares.
I doubt shareholders are that worried. Snail has the release of ASA Ark 2 and a NFT game lined up, their stock value will bounce back up later at least for a short time.

How does snail make money? Every project that they have is a failure. I’m shocked they are still in business
Maybe the projects are failures. It looks that way on the outside but it depends on how much profit each project made. If a game doesn't get popular but it still made a profit it may be seen a success by the creator.
How many shares did they sell? Thats money they get to pocket.

From the articles and other info out there it sounds like they almost went under last October which is why ASA and the animated series were rushed out.
But who knows its hard to say since a lot of game companies are in debt the entire time they are developing a game.
Companies typically stay in permanent debt. It is the way the system works.
Stay in debt, continue to expand and gain more debt. Never pay much taxes and keep investors money growing.
@venous-gaming55 I think you're a little off with this comment. Being "in" debt and "having debt" are completely different things. All companies have debt yes, but companies that are in debt are failing. I'm a business owner. If i was constantly "in" debt i wouldn't be able to operate. Having debt, like business cc or owing for inventory is typical though.

Obviously they gotta be able to service their debt.
I hope someone picks it up, this is my favorite game and I am waiting for the other maps to come out for ASA. Ark 2 looked very interesting as well, so maybe Microsoft will pick the came up and keep it going.
Xbox is always head hunting developers and they’re already partners to bring out ARK 2 as an exclusive, I’m praying they buy Wildcard
I doubt Snail sells Ark they have to many games that use Arks code and a new cash cow coming up an NFT game using arks code no way they are letting the Ark Ip go and being unable to use the code in future games.
Maybe they would sell if enough money was offered and only for the idea of ark and not the code but its unlikely.

Why would people be worried that they would sell and then the game would close down? Who buys a game and then closes it down...
2 different scenarios one is Snail sells Ark if they need to the other is they just shut off officials and let players keep running their own servers like ASE.
Currently Ark will most likely keep going probably another year or two at the least unless something dramatic happens.

If they want to make a ton of money all they have to do is make a Chinese Themed Map complete with all fictional Chinese monsters and a complete Chinese Themed Building set. Weapons,Tools, etc etc
Ark has to much potential. Companys know that, so someone will take up the mantle.
It all depends on whether or not they want to sell though. If you own a pair of shoes that are getting old or wearing out, it’s still up to you what you do with them. Even if someone else might like them, it’s up to you to decide to sell them. You might just throw them out.

Yeah, so we can wait over 6 years after they destroyed wild card as a developer , I mean, look at fable or hi fi rush, ip's just don't usually survive Microsoft.
@@Helios134 They did a good job with Minecraft. Minecrafts better off now than it was prior to the acquisition.
I will carry on playing ASE it's just the same game IMO and i don't need a 4090 to play it either
A 4090 for medium to high graphics on single player lol low on officials We need a 6090 for ASA . With all those mods on ASE as long as an update doesn't drop to break them ASE has a lot more to do and runs better and on epic settings looks about as good as ASA on medium and barely worst than ASA on high and epic.
@@CamwayGaming I do think ASA looks amazing but yea ASE just has so many good things going for it I think if ASA was 1/3 of its cost and wasn't as buggie nor high graphics demanding it would be a great upgrade
I get 60 fps on a 3060. Turning off cloud/fog and shadows. If you're looking for ultra settings though probably need a chonker.

A game made for console which ark ASA is supposed to be should run at 60 fps minimum on the highest settings on console.
Steam has a chart that shows what hardware gamers have.
The 2070 / 2080 were where most pc gamers were at during ASA launch and production. That is about the same power as a console.
So not designed for the market which means less sells and a smaller player base and investors bail stock prices drop.
On top of that the best card currently can not run consistently at 60 fps on the highest settings. That is a big fail
As much as i shit on this game i dont want it to fail. I want it to be the game i want it to be. I want it to be ark evolved but better but its worse most of the time, and thats an issue.
You pretty much summed up every ark players reason for playing ark and supporting it this whole time. We all hope for that someday. Which is to bad because right there near the end of ASE it was finally running well and was in a condition that could be considered complete then they reverted with ASA :(
@CamwayGaming yeah it sucks what's happening. The only map I ever really had issues with was Extinction (unfortunately bc it seemed real cool) and I never had this much crashing
Their contract states that Snail Games own Ark IP until 2035 so in theory we only have to wait but at this point i kind of hope that Snail Games wont last that long and WildCard can somehow stay operational. Not sure if Microsoft buying WildCard with Ark IP as some people have mentioned is a good idea but if it saves WildCard and Ark IP im all for it.
I hope sony buys them. Nobody wants an American company like microsoft getting involved.

This is what pisses me off about people complaining about paying for ASA or other Ark products. If the company does not make money, Ark is GONE!
Ya Wildcard needed a better monetization option than just initial sells all along. I think players are more mad about the failed promises of ASA and taking it out on all the paid content because its an easier target.
Snail has more projects than Ark. Ark however seems to be their highest revenue earning project.
Snail has an NFT game in the works that looks like it is built of the backbone of arks code that I think they are hoping will bring in the dough

Nope, snail loses money from large poorly planned failed projects, Ark is there only successful partnership
ASE made over 1 billion dollars. When ASA launched Snail was in debt by tens of millions. Customers had nothing to do with that mismanagement, or current mismanagement.
Maybe if snail didnt use the profits that ark made for them to fund there other projects like there car manufacturing plan that failed 🤬

?? Currently ASA is not being scrapped. It could happen but just being removed from the stock market if that even happens doesn't really mean anything for Ark Snail may reduce the overall team and spending so progress may slow down but I doubt they will scrap ASA anytime soon.
