Thank you for this, for providing close ups of the shrines. At 9.32 there are 2 images on the shrine that are facing us. They don't have any headress either. What are they supposed to be representing? I've never seen anything like this.
So what exactly was held within these ? There are x4 im assuming sarcophagus in one of them - the translations of the hieroglyphs ? Does anyone have it documented ?
hi Mohamed , it is reported the inner gold coffin weighed just over 110 kg , but I can not find any information that shows exactly how much pure gold was used to create this inner coffin , reports show it contains a variety of different grades of gold , but only a careful test can determine the weight of pure gold it contains , these tests can be done without damaging the object , jewellers do it in a few minutes all the time , most objects contain some silver and copper , there is often a big difference in objects tested from Egypt but I can not find this information for king TUTS coffin . please let me know if you know any more about this , many thanks , and keep up the great work
7:50 into the mouth of the lion tefnut , theme of three comes into play a lot in the hieroplyghs , in the temple of osiris , the depiction of pouring water into three vases,,, and in this one three lines feeding into his mouth from the sun with feet ?? what is the significance of the 3 theme ??? is it connected to a sacred cosmology?
Thanks for sharing this fabulous video. Why only the briefest view of the 4th inner shrine? I've never found any book with detailed pictures and descriptions of these shrines, but there must have been studies of them. Everything else found in the tomb has been photographed inside and out; why not these shrines? If you know how I can view these online or in a book please let me know.
when you arrive at the 2nd shrine what is the observation that you make ?? there are different ( ? ) and on the 1st shrine ,, she has a gate above her head ?? star gate ??

so when they are all standing on the ships , is it symbolic for their journey to the afterlife ? or is it depicting some sort of pilgrimage by the hierarchy?
8:10 those various figures remind me of some of the heads found of the olmecs,, not the giant ones , but the depictions of the olmec crawling babies :)

jeffrey jefferton, it is a journey in the afterlife moving between the gates of the afterlife
