Imhotep's contributions to Egypt are identical to Joseph's, the Hebrew youth who was sold to a caravan of slave traders by his ten elder brothers. To my knowledge, no one else in history had been elevated in status, just below that of Pharoah, and given such authority over Egypt. His ability to translate and interpret the Pharoah's dreams of prosperity and famine, and how to prevent catastrophic results, earned Joseph the admiration of all of Egypt. Joseph was the favorite son of Jacob; he was not buried in Egypt as he made the Hebrews promise to take his bones with them when time came for them to leave Egypt. And they did.
Joseph and Imhotep are one and the same. His empty tomb (because they took his bones with them) that contained a broken statue of him was found in the Delta region, where the Israelites settled. (There's a very good UA-cam video on the subject of the tomb and statue being found by archaeologists.) The statue had red hair, and the famous multi-colored cloak. But Imhotep (Joseph) was not the first pyramid builder and the step pyramid was not the first pyramid. The Great Pyramid was constructed by Thoth in prehistory over a one hundred year period from 11,500 to 10,500 BC using anti-gravity technology. Yes, Imhotep was the biblical Joseph "Prince of Egypt," and the huge vertical underground pits at the step pyramid complex are the grain storage bins that were used for the seven years-worth of grain. Ron Wyatt UA-cam videos correctly state this fact (about Imhotep/Joseph and the granaries) - and a whole lot more. And all of Ron's info is legit. How do I know all of this? I'll answer that with another question. Want the deepest of truths? "The Book of GOD" at A Course in Truth can be read in 5 minutes. But I warn you; it might blow your mind. I don't receive UA-cam comment notifications, but can be reached through my website.
Lovely and very realistic, these documentaries show us these people as no books could ever do; these Egyptians come to life before us and we are pleasantly drawn into their fascinating world like we belong to it.
Inhotep. You hear he's name in a lot of documentary series. But you give more information about him then famous tv stations I've watched. Well done. Maybe bbc should hire you for research. Be safe all.😊

The theories about the Pyramid of Djoser being a giant well, and not a tomb, sure do make a lot more sense after learning Imhotep was appointed vazier of Egypt for helping with a drought. Also, on a side note: Imhotep's story sounds like the Joseph story that I learned about in church camp.
It is possible, even likely that Imhotep is the Joseph of the Bible. According to the commonly accepted chronology of the ancient world the time periods would exclude this. However: 1. As professor David Rohl points out (see his UA-cam videos), that old chronology is open to challenge. The problem is that the periods of chaos which intervene in the dynastic records are of questionable length. The entire history of the ancient Mediterranean and Near East, for example the Bronze Age, Troy, the Israeli Conquest of Palestine, etc. is based on the old chronology, so there is strong inertia to changing it. 2. It is extremely unlikely that people of the prominence ascribed to Joseph, and the numerous Children of Israel sojourning in Egypt, would have left no mark. That is the case with the old chronology. If we accept the new chronology of Rohl and others, it puts Joseph and the Israelites in Egypt much earlier. In the earlier time there is an otherwise unexplainable abundance of evidence for them, especially in the region of Avaris, in the Nile Delta: numerous Semites, 12 patriarchal tombs with one of special prominence, etc
Was Joseph, closer to 2200 BC or less he built the grain storage for the King/Pharaoh which increased his power greatly in Egypt and gave Pharaoh the lands owned by cities in Egypt. Wealth through wisdom not war.

Joseph from the bible has a lot similarities to Imhotep. For example they come from humble beginnings. Both favored by God. Both dream and interpret dreams to the pharoah during time of famine. Both rise to be second in command in Egypt. Could Joseph be Imhotep?

Djoser and Imhotep are probably the biggest reason why Egypt is the most fascinating of all ancient cultures. Their architecture of the great pyramids is the greatest wonder anyone has ever wrought. A true renaissance man thousands of years before the word came in vogue. Listening to his story the only names that come to mind are leonardo, Michelangelo and the great Benjamin Franklin. His talents were so diverse as to be inconceivable. Visualize a greater Frank Lloyd Wright, Galileo and Dr. Kildare in the same man! Perhaps only Franklin rivals him in all history.
The roman empire were just crooks that held europe and africa captive until it fell. First europe recovered, and now were seeing North africa make its comeback.

Interesting! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for watching!
It is possible, even likely that Imhotep is the Joseph of the Bible. According to the commonly accepted chronology of the ancient world the time periods would exclude this. However:
@@christianfrommuslim Or, more likely, the Hebrews who wrote the story of Joseph had heard of Imhotep and used him as a model.
@@Hypernefelos yeah probably not the case though 🤔
@@christianfrommuslim Joseph and Moses are fairy tale characters, appropriated by jews based on Egyptians, to fit their agenda
I saw your comment on BazBattles Chanel. You have good Videos, i realy enjoyed watching them. Can you make something about "Battle of Kosovo 1389".
I’ve added it to my list. Thanks for your suggestion!
Was Joseph, closer to 2200 BC or less he built the grain storage for the King/Pharaoh which increased his power greatly in Egypt and gave Pharaoh the lands owned by cities in Egypt. Wealth through wisdom not war.
I’m not aware that the biblical story of Joseph is historically verified. Thanks for sharing though Aaron!

Thanks for watching!
Joseph from the bible has a lot similarities to Imhotep. For example they come from humble beginnings. Both favored by God. Both dream and interpret dreams to the pharoah during time of famine. Both rise to be second in command in Egypt.
Could Joseph be Imhotep?
Thanks for watching!
Yes he is

None other than Joseph, Jacob's son. His bones were taken back to Canaan 430 years later, plus 40 more while Israel wandered through the desert. He is buried where he was born.

Great points!
thats because they were taught by the fallen angels . you think they were just born with that knowledge?
@@ant2official221 It's called learning through observation. Humans are remarkably intelligent, and have always been.

I have a question, do you think after you finish this series, can you try doing a series on the Roman Empire?
I definitely will eventually. My plan is to keep it chronological for now. Thanks for your interest Amir!
My next video is on Sargon of Akkad.
Lord Voldemort same
The roman empire were just crooks that held europe and africa captive until it fell. First europe recovered, and now were seeing North africa make its comeback.
Great video. What is the original or primary source for Imhotep saying “ear drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die”?
