Looking to elevate your home decor with plants? In this video, I share the top plant styling tips and rules to help you create a beautiful and harmonious space with house plants. Whether you're a seasoned plant enthusiast or just starting out, these easy-to-follow guidelines will transform your living space into a green oasis.
Watch now and learn how to decorate with house plants like a pro!
First, consider the size of your space when choosing house plants. Opt for smaller plants in tight spaces and larger plants in open areas to create balance and harmony.
Next, mix and match different types of plants to add texture and visual interest. Combine trailing plants with upright plants for a dynamic look.
When arranging your plants, remember the rule of threes. Group plants in sets of three to create a cohesive and appealing display.
Don't forget to consider the lighting in your space. Place plants that require more sunlight near windows and those that prefer shade in darker corners.
Lastly, don't be afraid to get creative with your planters. Experiment with different shapes, sizes, and materials to add personality to your plant display.

All great tips! 😊🪴
Thank you 🤗🙏🏾🌱
I love grouping in odd numbers.
Yes, it looks better that way. ☺️
Really great video, thank you
I would have liked to know which plants are best away from windows, which ones are best closer , so styling can be easier .
Thank you. That's a great point.. I'll try and cover that in a future video. I'm just currently on a break from making content, and hope to restart in the near future. Thanks for stopping by 🙏🏾💚🌱
Very helpful!
That's great! Thanks for letting me know 🙏🏾💚🌱
Great tips! I have one large south facing window and the majority of my plants are sitting in front of that window. I have two west facing windows that are small and a few plants sit there. My house is somewhat one dimensional in a sense that I can't move my plants around much. I've thought about getting some floating shelves for the wall to sit some of my smaller plants on. I've also thought about hanging a couple. I have a long cebu blue plant that would look good hanging as well as a long pothos. I always admire how others have their plants set up 😊
You should hang the cebu blue and pothos.. that will look amazing! You could put them together in a corner close to an outlet and use a pendant light with a grow light bulb! I think it's a great idea to get the floating shelves for the smaller plants as you mentioned. It takes a little bit of effort not you could have that beautiful set up too 😉! Let me know if you do it and how it looks. 🤗💚🌱🙏🏾
Best tips ❤
Glad you think so!
Wonderful ❤
Thank you 😄
😂 My cover pots are never the right size, style or color because the darn plants keep growing.
I always end up with multiple styles and then I drool over the one color staged display of perfectly perky plants that I see online and I have come to realise I will never have.😂
🤣😂🤣😂🤣 aww that's OK.. I understand what you mean lol at this point I refuse to buy new pots.. I try to make them work one way or another because they're so expensive. I might have to give in soon though.. A lot of my plants are getting too big for the pots in recycling lol.
