    Your videos are great! Highly entertaining, and educational. I was sure I wanted to take this up as a hobby, but when I figured out I needed to invest around 20 grand, well, that’s a lot of clams. So I will live vicariously through you. Keep on keepin on.

    Beautiful stone! You can make it an open back pendant so the back only shows the color in the middle. Kind of like an open back dress, but for an opal.

    Hahaha omg thank you for the laughs and education at the end of a long week! Loved the Princess Diana thought bubble, great stuff! I'm not historically a collector of either opals or fossils, but suddenly my collection feels incomplete without an opal clam shell. Then again last week it was incomplete without a three pound chunk of prehnite. Hello, eBay...

      @@PulitzerOpal Please show that video!! Now tons of us are going to be hunting down opal clams and it would be good to help us know what's good and what's questionable. There are yellow opal clams online that look for all the world the same as yellow agates I have in abundance. And my huge prehnite was slabbed off one side before I bought it, so it can be done!

    Omg you've just completed the absolute f#uk out of me! And I don't even know why I think you are so amazing but you are, you don't understand the amazing things happening right now! I just purchased a shell Nobby off Mr Gunn a week ago, this legendary man allowed me to pay off a 4.5k shell Nobby, my first ever opal and all because of your videos which lead me to him! He's amazing, you're amazing and if I could I'd let you cut it, but I don't finish paying it off till next year. Anyway please keep up your amazing videos they are absolute gold!     Hi! Heres my question: Why wouldn't that make a good 2-sided pendant? To my untrained eye, it's gorgeous on both sides, but would it be too soft or something like that? I would love a pendant just like that, with a simple gold whatever-its-called around it- sans diamonds. Just a beautiful teardrop, a crying opal. If I can find that convo we had, I'll email you!

    hi there a nice bit of opal from that shell did you get anything out of the bit you cut off
    can you help me please what type of white/crystal opal keeps cracking into smaller and smaller bits
    i was given a 2oz piece a year or so ago which was full of cracks i dont know what to do with it over time it has broken down
    into smaller bits ive now got about 50 or more small bits help please i tride to cut a bit but it just cracked into smaller bits
    i dont know where in the world it came from is there anything i can do with it
