Need more projects to fix the ecology around our rivers and streams in town, which helps when we inevitably get flooded.

@@diggingthewest7981 Golden doesn't have much of a problem if Coors isn't illegally dumping into Clear Creek, I've caught all sorts of things down to Wadsworth where the surroundings becomes less natural and more man-made. Trout need cold water, without trees shading the majority of the stream it gets too hot and they go into the foothills however possible for cold water and spawning. Clear Creek around i70/h58 has a great ecosystem, they just rediscovered a lost orchid there this summer and there are more bobcats and coyotes than most people are aware of around there showing its thriving.

Wonderful civic activities, there is no downside to having clean water.
Especially if climate change keeps getting worse. Then it's somewhere free to cool off and restored areas around rivers act as flood buffers.
