I got one of your GTP several years ago (I also have one of your Royals). He's been a beautiful, healthy snake and a delight to keep - as has the Royal. I'm glad you made this video as it's so important to support captive breeding of these snakes.

Where do you get your branches !? How do you get them to not hold mold and bugs that can harm snakes

Awesome GTPs! Have you ever worked with either species of emerald tree boa?

Green tree pythons are one of my new goal snakes. Do you sell them as babies or only juveniles

The title is rather misleading, could you make a video where you speak about them? What makes them different from other snakes, how are they to own/maintain ect, seems like you have alot of experience with these snakes.

They are similar to tree boas. Born maroonish or yellow, will go through color change in about 1 year old, some localities later (Biak, Japen etc). They are hard to hatch as you need stable temp of 87ish for incubation and 95% humidity. Hard to start them eat, sometime breeders force feed them. After the color change they become nocturnal, so during the day, they are on the perch, just siting there, can be handled when you remove them on the perch. Beautiful display animal, that if you keep them in right temp and humidity (83-78F my enclosures) and 40-60% humidity, they are very easy to keep. Enclosure 2x2x2 is a minimum. They are hard to reproduce, but not a hard keeper. Adult eat every 2 weeks, I do small to medium rats depending on the size of a snake. There are several localities and then crosses between them called designers, that's where you can see blues, calico, yellow adults etc. You can se price for farmed or wild caught animal biak locality as cheap as 350$ and designers going to about 10K$.
