Haha, how funny 😂so many of the same Yamaha devices. Interesting that so many different errors occur. I haven't been able to repair my E810 yet. When I'm healthy again, I'll try my luck and hope that I can repair my amplifier with the knowledge from your videos. 😊👍 Until then, watch yourself repair it. Best regards

No problem - download the Yamaha RX-E810 service manual and go to the page 36 and there is the 2nd power-supply this will be have some issues. 1st C8 change it this will supply the 2nd z-diode D9 MAB8100 (10Volt) this supply 3rd the IC3 TC4013 (if you have a battery-oscilloscope you can measure this - if not use a 1:1 transformer in case of the electric shock!!! be warned!) 4th control Q4 (if you short with a 10ohm [1/8 Watt] Source & Drain then the transformer shall run and you measure the AC on the secondary side). 5th change C4 3300µF/16V or measure the 10V on CB205 pin 1. 6th measure with the oscilloscope cb205 pin2 /reset (it comes from time to time and then the the IC2 TLP421GR will send some light to the secondary side and pull down the anode point from z-diode D7 - this is low and no /reset occur). The power P-DET should be high and the controller is running. Also measure the 5V the regulator is on the µController board. Why they make it on the other board is a mystery. Then tell us your results and what you found out please - thank you. weakbit

hi,friend, very interesting video.....many receivers 810,410 have this problem.....no power on!
in my case, I changed a few components on that main board 2......C8,D9 with zener 10v, C4 3300/16......
And it switched on......but measuring voltage on pin 1 on Main 1 board, acc. to your video, now I have 18v ( not 10v as needed ).??
Why.....what does it mean..? is it dangerous? what to check addit.?
Thank s in advance, if you have some advice.
