Restored a Kei car in Japan! Suzuki Kei HN21S K6A Turbo

Not really a "restoration" though, but anyway I like to believe that I gave that car a second life... So here's my story: I had to ride a bike to work (20km) everyday for 6 months. Obviously I was dreaming of buying a car, so I started to save as much as I could eating just rice and chicken I was cooking myself. Eventually in 3 months I got a little over $1k which was just enough to buy this THE CHEAPEST manual car in my whole prefecture! The dealership was selling it with a legit car inspection (which I thought is hard to get) and was assuring me that the car is in perfect condition and nothing is wrong with it. However, couldn't let me test drive and check it thoroughly... My faith in japanese honesty and integrity back than was strong as ever... But hey, in the end of the day I had a nice project car! :')

Thanks! Nah, I will be selling it here in the next couple of weeks cause I am going back home now. Not sure when I will go to US again though, my previous visa restricts me from applying for a new one for another whole year...

But I have a Kei Car build myself, check my Demio on my tube, I’m going Bosozoku/Street Kid style with my daily Kei Car ;) But you found a turbo one! I’m probably going turbo Kit on that Demio later on 85 HP on 800 KG is fun but I need more!

The turbo was bad. It was leaking oil into the intake and exhaust

@@NickyChicks How did you narrow it down to the turbo? White smoke could have a lot of causes. Was the turbo making noise?
