The shimmer micas are synthetic and alot of info out there indicate potential health hazards with long term use. If one is making a natural diy, it's best to keep it natural and healthy. The butter looks gorgeous, cannot wait to try it...great combination.
I usually double whip my butters so they can be smoother, never tried the triple whip, I stick mine in the freezer to thicken before I whip it again, I will try this formula though....thanks for all you do!
Nice! Yes, I have used the freezer before. I find that room temperature gives me a better idea of how it will react being stored in a normal setting/temperature. 💜✨
Thank you for your videos you are always so giving and never feel threatened whether someone will do more or better. Hi Yaya, FirstI love your name. I love the fact that your videos are so simple and easy to follow. And the tone of your voice is so calming, it makes it easy to follow along. Can you provide a link to where you got your mica’s?
It looks lovely! 🍓 Can you link or tell me the name of the tool used to scoop out the mica? I still prefer the recipe in the description box, it is more practical. 😍
Thank you!! Here is the link: Steel Lab Spatula Micro Scoop: amzn.to/3idDdis Also, I still add the formula by weight (grams) in the description box. The formula in percentages is the only one in the actual video. It was highly requested and most people do not read the description box, so that’s why I made it available for a quick screenshot. Thank you for reading/liking it. I work hard on the description box. 😅😂💜✨
Great video. What was that white powder substance you put in after you put in the pink mica? Can this butter be put into squeezeable bottles as well? This is a must make. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! The what powder was also mica. I added too much red mica and wanted to balance it back out. The white mica helped to get the color I was looking for. Also, I would not recommend this butter in a squeezable tube. A jar with an air tight seal would work best 💜✨
Thank you!! I ship all of my butters with complementary ice packs to keep them cool. However, this can get expensive during the summer time, because it is not 100% efficient. I replace butters that melt. This is rare, however. I hope this helps. 💜✨
@@YayaDIYCreations 🥰🥰 thanks so much for replying back to me . Yes that helps ..so where would you keep your butter then ?? Sorry for asking too many questions lol!!
@@Noeandmi No problem at all. Are you asking where I store butters that are whipped? Or inventory? I usually hand make orders as they come in and then ship. If there is a case where I have extra, I just store them on the shelf. Where I am, it is not too hot at room temperature; so it won’t melt. 💜✨
Great video!! I have a jewelry business Ljjewelers and now I want to actually start a body butter shop so your video helped out .thanks but I have 1 question though , where did you get your mica from ? And your description is very detailed thanks !! 😊
It can melt if put in warm enough conditions. You can try to offset this by storing it in a cooler area or using a plant butter with a higher melting point, like illipe butter or cocoa butter. The consistency settles like what you see in the end. To be more “free-flowing”, you would have to make an emulsion with water. I hope this helps. 💜✨
If a product has an expiration date is that the shelf life? Or does it start once the bag/bottle is opened and used? Not all products come with a seal on it…Often times I see lot numbers but no expiration date. Any tips?

Hi there, great content, may i ask how long does it last. I noticed that you also used more oil than butters, does that make the finished product feel oily?
Thank you so much! I actually used more butter than oils. Also, the oils absorb quickly and do not leave a greasy feel behind. As far as shelf life, it will depend on how the butter is handled. If you can avoid contaminating it with water, then you could keep it for 12 months or more. This is without a preservative added. I hope this helps 💜✨

Hey i used the same amount of ingredients as you put below the video , however my amount for the butter and oil LOOKS way less than yours. And i used a scale with grams option ....hmm
Hey, I used the measurements in grams that are in the description box. Sixty-four grams of mango butter is a significant amount for the batch size I was looking for. I was able to fill 1 (4oz) tin and 1 (2oz) tin with this batch. That’s 6oz total. If you want to make more. I also provided the formula in percentage so you may scale the formula up or down. Please remember, that whipping the butter will cause it to expand. I triple whipped this butter. The more air, the fluffier and larger it will become. Lastly, I used a high-powered whisk to whip as much air as possible into my butter. I don’t know if this is a factor. I hope this helps. ✨💜
