The Quiet Usual Everyday Gamer Everything is dying right now, on your skin, under your feet. Sometime somewhere something died at every point on the planet. So sure I would go in, it has to do with emotional attachment though and also when people believe in something they "give it power" or imagine it is real. At the same time, we don't know everything about our universe it could be some other organism that is create at the point of death.. like an energy based echo created upon death. It has also been proven that every action a human being makes, there is a corresponding emf transmission( near negligible). So if you die gruesomely and your determined will peaks at that point. Is it not possible that the transmission is strong enough.. to leave a mark on the atoms [some other sub-particle] around that location. If there are mechanics not yet observable which are also emitted similar and such cases.. then perhaps there is something to it. So basically, death in a high mental energy discharge resulting in a "Doctor Manhattan" style imprint on matter except you are as energy.. and simple an echo of the pattern that was your physical body.... trapped in some sub-system of space-time mechanics as yet unknown. Further to this, it would explain why the manifestations are localized. As you live in an area for an extended period, you are repeatedly bombarding it with your specific energy pattern.. so perhaps you can't stray from that region or only able to interact with objects that have soaked enough to form a tether or handle. So yes, probably all bullshit. Still, everything can be explained.. just have to look deeper if there is validity in a haunting. Can't explain it until the formula for creating a chunk of space-time[ universe] is demystified.
I have no fear of any of these haunted houses. None of them seem to do any harm to the owners, just sort of hang around. Don't care about noises at night because I can sleep though anything.
So If I want a discount on a house I should claim to see a ghost and pay some other people to say that aswell. Killing someone could also help I guess but that's a tad messy.
All you need to do is be a psychologist and ask them about their feelings and give them therapy. They will stop doing creepy things and maybe pay rent.

Ever notice that most "haunted houses" are at least 100 years old? This wouldn't have anything to do with the old architecture making it look strange to modern eyes, would it?
Good point. Not to mention that certain parts of the house are so old they might have an effect on experience. Like old pipes sounds like screaming because of the age.
My tour guests ask me this all the time. In my opinion, it's because death was always sudden and unexpected in those days. No one ever had time to truly prepare themselves, or their families. That's why it was always much more traumatic. Ghost are caused by one of two things: staunch repetition every single day without fail, leaving behind a psychic imprint, or intense emotions leaving behind an emotional imprint. But not every violent death causes a ghost. Just the ones who couldn't see it coming. Your brain waves produce electrostatic energy, the most reliable way to "attract" ghosts. If you were in the middle of an important thought, or experiencing some kind of intense emotion when your life was suddenly cut off, that energy is perpetually in flux. @gadiel, that too! LOL Too many "hauntings" around here are just the house screaming for upgrades and repairs....

have the local postal automatically discard all "the watcher" mails destined for the house automatically. so the occupant never gets them in the mail box, and if it continues to show up, then someone must be delivering it personally, or paid someone else to do it, then trace back from there via face recognition and tag and trace. otherwise just destroy the house and piss that bastard off. and build a new one, or fence up the whole area, or just rent the place out to airBNB ... lol thats should give the watcher lots of new people to watch...

@@ariellepierog734 and Jia. Very wells said! I agree completely no one is really looking at the other costs or being realistic. The taxes alone would be sky high then you have to consider any back taxes. All that and we are not even starting on normal home ownership costs and constant maintenance to a house and ground. Also older homes built before 1950's require more repairs and are MUCH harder to heat and cool not even taking into account all other normal expenses. There is a gorgeous old Victorian home in my town. It's in good shape but kept changing hands. Finally a women I knew bought it and put thousands of dollars into repairs, upgrades, restoration, and remodel. She wanted to keep it as original as possible and restore as much as she could. I went over one day and was really surprised at how cold the home was and the sounds of wind in places despite the heater and space heaters. Mentioning this she then told me that the hardest thing to deal with in that house is the drafts especially at the floors and baseboards she said they hand spent thousand just on that and had tried multiple different things to fix this but never could block it no matter what the used or installed. It was so much of an issue she eventually sold it even after all that work and money invested. So I can only imagen how those extremely large houses are.
how's a ghost killing you a threat? the fact they exist means you can just become a ghost too. them killing you solves nothing because then they'll have to deal with you forever.

@@yahyachothia i don't care if it's a "bargain" or not - the title doesn't say "Famous Mansions for Bargain prices", it says "Famous Mansions No One Wants to buy for ANY price" which is a deceptive and misleading title. The mansion you claim is "10 dollars" is only ONE of the mansions, mansions is plural, not singular, this video is talking about more than just one mansion. And even then this "10 dollar" mansion is not really 10 dollars, it's 10 dollars PLUS costs of moving the mansion somewhere else (and you have no choice in the matter) plus lots of other expenses like repairs and renovations and the video even tells you that.
Haven't ya'll watched scooby doo? They're obviously saying the house is haunted just to scare off everyone else and get it at a lower price, except for the tacky log cabin and asbestos filled house lol
The answer to each of the "haunted Houses" is clear. Buy the place for a song, then call your local baptist church to tell them you'd like to host a week long revival meeting. Those devils will be driven off in short order whenever room of the house is filled with songs glorifying God.
Ghosts arent necessarily devils, nor are they necessarily linked to christianity. I'm pretty sure some of them were, in fact, christians when they were alive. I don't think they'd care at all
I'm not going to read through 4,000 comments to see if anybody else has said this but the Starrett Mansion sold over a year before you made this video and is operating as an AirBnB. Spent a night there last year when I went to Port Townsend to buy a car. 11/10 comfy, would recommend.
This is what happens to some extent in the UK. Houses that don't sell plummet in price and are purchased by housing associations, who let the rooms out (paid directly by government welfare) to people who would otherwise be homeless. I know, because I stayed in 2.
The one major setback (in my view) is that when a home receives a historical assignation, the owner is limited in what improvements they may make. Some historical homes even dictate what wallpaper you must use.
I believe it is the underlining reason why these homes aren't being sold... Having to maintain something you have little say over could become frustrating... The only option would be to turn it into a tourist attraction.. It would be a great way to offset the cost and a good way to bring in additional revenue, an investment.
I should have guessed half of them would have been because people were claiming they were haunted. At least lead paint and asbestos are sensible reasons to not want to buy a house.
Sensible? It's been proven that there are things that can't be explained. If those mansions haven't been bought, you can bet there is something strange and unexplained going on. All those people can't be wrong. So, go ahead take a chance and I bet after a week you would be ready to run. Maybe sooner.
@@beatlemania54 - You're not big on logic, are you? If something's unexplained, then it's just unexplained. Doesn't mean it's ghosts. Or God. Or aliens. It's just unexplained. The number of people who believe something has no bearing on whether it's true or false. Threatening me will not get me to start believing in the supernatural any more than a Christian threatening me with Hell would make me believe that. Okay but why not just get a priest and a sage stick and then call the moving company? Edit: Just to clarify, this is just something someone should do if they are extremely eager to rush into said house and move, or since I know they dont always work..just walk in the front door with a cookie bag and say you bring no harm and leave the bag on the floor and walk away. (also a joke)
Unfortunately certain actions and things that happen (ex. murder) allow an "legal" open door for demonic spirits to come in and take a stronghold. Yes they can be prayed over and made to leave if done right but they can or will come back at the first chance of another action or open door from sin. They become unclean spiritually. Furthermore anyone who is truly aware of their surroundings in the spirit realm and the forces of evil (aka principalities and powers not of flesh and blood)out there they would not even want to put themselves in that. As this video sort of confirms. And by having people like paranormal investigators come in they are actually opening more doors and portals by calling them fourth and making the legal strong hold even worse. Some things that have an evil spiritual past need to not be messed with just destroyed.
It's not exactly that easy to cleanse a house. It takes months depending on how serious the ghost is about staying there. If something like a murder happened then they are definitely not leaving anytime soon. I burn sage sticks every chance I get where I live now yet my invisible roommate is still here knocking pictures off the walls and touching my shoulder, back, or butt lol. If you call a priest it would take several visits for that priest to come and some even want money upfront because you can get hurt if the ghost is strong enough to do so. Bad ghost feeds off of negative energy, so if someone was living in a house where someone was murdered and a bad ghost was lurking through the halls that ghost could actually fuck with your mood. That ghost could take your energy and do whatever it wanted to make you fear it so that you will leave and never come back.
They’re still going to be there just as everyone else when we pass on. Some people just exists in different frequencies, so we just don’t die. Some become too attached to that specific space.

Oh no, I'm serious. If I had the money, I would. I live in Savannah Ga. I'm a ghost tour guide, and I occasionally work for the Sorrel-Weed House. The house is a museum, set up the way it was in 1840, all of the furniture is from the time period. They can't let guests actually use the furniture because it's so old, so you couldn't sleep there. They do offer after hours ghosting hunting lock-ins for up to 4 hours. Then we have a ton of haunted B&B's here as well. I've yet to see the two ideas combined into one, but I think it would do well at many, ( not all ) of these sites.

If you have a home worth $500,000, put it on the market for $40,000,000, and then reduce the price to $20,000,000, it's still not a "steal". And while these may appear cheap, if you take into account the cost of renovations and the fact that few of them are in desirable locations, the costs approach the typical cost of a modern mansion. The idea that people aren't moving into houses because of ghost stories is just ridiculous. We're not moving into these houses because they're not necessarily in desirable locations near employment, the bills will be insanely large, the design of the house is not in line with current tastes and modernizing them adds a ton to the cost, we don't want to deal with regulations from the Historical Society, these houses have health concerns (like carbon monoxide, which, as has been mentioned, could cause perceptions like those noted in the video, as well as things like lead paint), etc. Eliminate these variables but tell a scary ghost story about a massively undervalued mansion and see how many buyers don't care at all.

The real problem is taxes, insurance, heating and cooling, grounds upkeep, and misc. maintenance.
This. Doesn't matter if you pay $10 for a $10 million dollar mansion. The upkeep and taxes are still going to be insane.
the minimum upkeep for a mansion (8,000 square feet of floor space in my area) is 10,000 dollars a year, not including property taxes, water, electricity and optional amenities.

In asian cultures its a very big thing that places can be stained by human tragedy.
I'd be more worried about the auditory hallucinations caused by a gas leak then "hauntings"....

“Original asking price was 1,000,000, but the reduced price was 499,000. That’s just short of 50% off.” 🤔🤔
The answer to each of the "haunted Houses" is clear. Buy the place for a song, then call your local baptist church to tell them you'd like to host a week long revival meeting. Those devils will be driven off in short order whenever room of the house is filled with songs glorifying God.
You just saved over half a mil
FACTS
Ghosts arent necessarily devils, nor are they necessarily linked to christianity. I'm pretty sure some of them were, in fact, christians when they were alive. I don't think they'd care at all
Was thinking this lol
LOL. True. That'd chase off ANYBODY!!!! rofl
I'm not going to read through 4,000 comments to see if anybody else has said this but the Starrett Mansion sold over a year before you made this video and is operating as an AirBnB. Spent a night there last year when I went to Port Townsend to buy a car. 11/10 comfy, would recommend.
genuinely don’t see a problem with ghosts tbh. they would keep me company because i have no friends😂

"First of his kind"? This is a HUMAN...
We should just let the unfortunate and homeless people live in these. When the ghosts will see we are doing good for the society, they will leave
This is what happens to some extent in the UK. Houses that don't sell plummet in price and are purchased by housing associations, who let the rooms out (paid directly by government welfare) to people who would otherwise be homeless. I know, because I stayed in 2.
If I were a ghost I'd also leave if I had to live with SJWs and homeless people.
😂😂😂😂 Man you took the cake
You need to provide actual physical evidence that only supports that possibility to professional scientists first.
@@Roxor128 Your beliefs are polar opposites of mine. If you think logic figures into everything, then I must be dealing with a twelve year old.
@@beatlemania54 - I think you've got it backwards. Twelve-year-olds don't tend to be very good with logic unless they've taken an interest in maths or computer programming.

*selling a Mansion worth of 5 million$ For 40m$*
*wonders why there are no Buyers*
Okay but why not just get a priest and a sage stick and then call the moving company?
Edit: Just to clarify, this is just something someone should do if they are extremely eager to rush into said house and move, or since I know they dont always work..just walk in the front door with a cookie bag and say you bring no harm and leave the bag on the floor and walk away. (also a joke)
Because that doesn’t always work... honestly, you can’t always remove things...
A sage stick. Hahahahaha.
I'd buy the mansions that are haunted just because they're haunted!
What the f are you on about Tech10K?
I would, and open them up on Halloween as a hounded house tour.

Instant money
while you playing... that might actually be crazy enough to work
Oh no, I'm serious.
Lyssa Caruso that's awesome! You've come a long way. To be a tour guide with little to no fear and create a new idea out of the resources you have there, that is awesome, my hat is off to you! You got good character and ingenuity.. My sister was just talking about savannah having all that. We're in Stockbridge. I'm currently building wealth with mentors now, so I may have to keep that in mind. Maybe I'll give you a fish, or maybe I'll give you the chance of how to, so you can bring that idea to fruition and win your freedom! I believe you can do it though! And I wish you nothing but the best of success! Keep fighting to be the best you can be, and much love and happiness to you always!

I'll definitely buy the mansion if I get a 50% discount on the 10$.
These homes are overpriced for being haunted. If any were 200k I would buy and then hire a shaman or priest to send the spirits on. They’d probably thank me for freeing them.
just call up some hunters, salt and burn lol

Any house no matter what age had somrone die in it before you get it not all people die in old folks home
or of the house isn't old someone more than likely died on the land.....my house thr original owners both wofe and husband died here and part of my garden used to be on the land where the pit children went to school and played and I know across mine and my neighbours gardens two children died so even without a house chances are someone has died on or near your land

Haunted homes don't bother me at all we lived with ghosts for years you just learn to live around them in our case we removed all internal doors as they were repeatedly slammed open and shut and if you put your keys down never expect them to be in the same place look in the freezer first followed by the biscuit tin . The cat flap often went nuts and you would think your cat was rubbing up against your legs but it wasn't them !! Lol we lived in a victorian house which was sadly split up into flats we had the bottom one which was pretty much kept original .I actually miss it and wish we didn't have to move but circumstances change maybe one day we can get it back since no one stays in it for longer than 6 months chances are it will be available I think we were the only people to stay in it for longer than a year, fred as we called our ghost friend haunted the whole building but mainly ours except if there were new people moved in the upstairs flats then he'd cause chaos untill they left lol the amount of people who complained things were been moved they were been watched doors opening and closing and they couldn't understand why the smell of pipe smoke was around I'd just tell them it's fred he won't hurt you just ignore him and he will get bored and come back to us longer you react the longer he stays at yours they usually moved on pretty quickly as they couldnt cope with his antics
Even if you believe, those houses are large enough for everyone and if staff comes too to clean the place, I'm all in!
The watcher house I'd buy and over watch my property with a Remington 700 + a bunch of night vision cameras.. Lol
