You don't need the barcode scanner to code in an injector on these OM651. Values can be entered manually on Star. A leak off test will assist in locating a dud injector and Star also has a smooth running test which may show the out of spec injector. All OM651 injectors are not necessarily interchangeable. You must check your VIN. My w204 only had 2x compatible part numbers. I bought 1x new genuine MB injector and coded it myself. Car was running awful, shooting raw diesel out the exhaust and smoking like hellfire. Injector 4 has heavy fuel / were carbon so it had stuck open.

My faithful garage is taking care of this Monday. I asked them, while its open and accessible, to give a good degreasing and wipe down of the local area. I'll bet I see 2 or 3 manhour units (5 minute units) for cleaning the top side on my bill.

@@letnimedved Those hydraulic pullers, are special tools used to remove seized injectors. Search YT for it, they're few videos, showing it during repair/extraction :)
l have a problem after replacing ml 270 cdi year 2000 injectors the original was 0445110035 and the new ones 0445110201, but the ECU not recognize them. And it won't even start up to go to re-code the new injectors. Anyone has any idea why is this? Or is there a limp mode for the injectors to get it going?

philzambo yep, happens if your injector seals are leaking.
Ha, OR use $$$$$ "cheap" hydraulic remover service :P But seriously , use penetrating fluid/oil and patiently wiggle all of them.

Gabriel Bor did you try initial start up of CDI? Then code the injectors. Had that happen on a OM642
