DinLife started with the intention to share about a zero-waste lifestyle. So, I want to share with you how to make a simple single layer bag, and how you can turn it into a strawberry bag for more convenient carrying.
You should choose a thin fabric, can be cotton or linen, but I would recommend using Linen, or else fabrics with a manufacturing process that is less harmful to the environment. Or you can simply use old fabrics that you already have.
I usually have 2 types of bags, light and dark. Light colors for things like bread, and dark colors for things that can get dirty.

Last time I also showed you how to end and start over when you run out of thread halfway (in this link • Video ), however, this time, you can learn how to measure your thread before stitching so you don't running out of thread:
01:00 Measure the thread according to the needle threading of the previous video
03:00 And measure the thread according to the 2nd needle threading: Double thread, double-thread knot (What I use often, and will recommend it many more times)

Me: I use an iron, a ruler, a rotary cutter, and sewing machine, and my stuff looks like crap. If I hand sew, it looks like worse crap.
Din: doesn’t iron the fabric, only occasionally uses a measuring device, otherwise, just uses her hand span, and she doesn’t even use a thimble when she hand sews, and her stuff is so beautiful and inspiring! Such perfect stitches!
I wish the whole world were like this. Love how you managed to position the flower so perfectly.
Actually, after I finished, I was also surprised by the position of the two flowers :v

This is AWESOME. Thank you for highlighting the lost art of hand stitching. It was the only way my mother let me sew, starting with a babydoll nightie that she cut out and had me do with an in-and-out running stitch. I did that stitch all the way around the nightie, including the neck hole and the arm holes. 😆 That was at age three. I finally got to use the sewing machine (Singer, 1930s edition) when I turned six. Keep your videos coming. They’re relaxing, beautiful, and informative! Thank you. 🥰
