@@WarpingFistI must say the approach of "Batman's not a supernatural bad guy, he's just scary because he's in his early days" is an approach I've wanted in a Batman analogue horror

I think the best way is if it’s from the view of a common thug, thinking Batman’s gonna kill him but isn’t, like what criminals see Batman as but not actually what he is
I dislike the fact that most of the analog horror attempts at Batman make him seem like a villain. It would be interesting to see Batman as a monster ONLY from the perspective of criminals.
I think he's more of an anti hero as he does bad things but the streets are getting safer as a result. It creates a neat moral grey view poimt towards his action.
I clicked on this expecting the exact same thing, a dark view from the criminal's perspective. Evil Batman has been so overdone that it loses any kick.
@@BrokenValentine-333 100%. I really think the whole evil superhero thing has been done into dirt, so the concept of Batman being a force of good yet still terrifying to criminals remains to be untapped potential.
While Batman is an unstoppable force that is feared in the eyes of Gotham citizens, the Rogue's Gallery have a fair share of scares on their own and I think "Arkham Tapes" did a great job at making the villains look like a threat while being informative about their gimmicks. The Halloween Special is the closest to ever get an adaptation of _Arkham Asylum: Serious House from Serious Earth._
It is so annoying how aggressively the bat incident got received in the community, like yes, in horror wise it does a little too much with the first couple of episodes, but the editing has gotten a lot better and it’s a very freaking cool concept Personally, I think WB is stupid if they don’t recruit the kid
Alien Isolation: Batman Edition. Make it happen someday, WB. The cherry on the top would be if it's an adaptation of Batman: Noël, where the story's protagonist is a criminal that Batman terrorizes for information regarding the Joker.
To me what can make Batman terrifying is his design he can either be a mutated man half bat, a deranged psychopathic disfigured man or a bat like phantom like the bogeyman being feared by criminals but to the civilians he is either a social media urban legend or something that criminals hallucinated from seeing a large bat shadow
I wonder if we can get Spider-Man analog horror. Not with normal spider-man though, Black Suit Spider-Man. A good scene would be where venom takes control and puts fear into alot of criminals, and the sketch art of what Venom looks like would be scary
Even better? Kaine Parker's Scarlet Spider. The dude can literally choose to burn your face like acid with just the touch of his hand, but chooses not to use this tactic. And he's still pretty scary, even despite that.
@@vanlalkimhOkay I'm back, I just got an Idea for a spider-man analog horror series: "The Spider-Man Tried to Eat Me" (it sounds corny) In this series, Spider-Man has had the black suit for 2 weeks now, many people thought this was a design change to be more scary, but in reality, Spider-Man (or peter) was also changing. You see in this universe, Eddie Brock and Spider-Man never had their triumphant moment where Eddie becomes venom. Because of that, Spider-Man was Becoming more susceptible to venoms control. The first encounter was of a criminal robbing a bank as usual, then spider-man comes in and is more aggressive than usual. However, the criminal accidentally causes a loud noise, triggering venom. Spider-Man pins the criminal to the wall as Spider-Man's jaw opens to show hundreds of teeth, but before he could devore him, police show up and Spider-Man flees. In a later part of the Story, we find out that after peter got the symbiote, he started eating more throughout the day, sometimes to unhealthy amounts, he went from 3 meals a day to 8 meals a day. Even though peter was eating more than a normal human should, he looked malnourished and looked sick, one day Mary Jane tells the press her husband went missing and never came home. At that point, venom took full control and peter was no more. Sighting of this "Ghost-Spider" are usually behind dumpsters at old restaurants and the Spider-Man went from stopping criminals to flat out eating them. In an epic conclusion the police raid an abandoned warehouse where the Spider-Man was spotted, and an interesting filming technique for this sequence is using police body cams, since that's not really seen in analog horror. In this sequence we see Spider-Man Brutally Killing all 12 police officers, before venom sheds away peter. Venom had drained peter so much to the point of death and venom ran off to find a new host to feed on. Police later finds Peters body and that is how the story ends, with the question of who venoms next victim is... What do you think of this pitch?
@@vanlalkimhSadly I don't know much about that version of Spider-Man, sadly I don't read comics, so IDK what Kaine could do, although I do remember from a recap that in the Spider-Verse comic he turned into a spider monster, which does have some horror to it
Honestly I feel like Batman horror tries too hard, you don’t need to make Batman a monster or even make him kill for him to be terrifying, just knowing that a seemingly unstoppable force is out there, hunting you, ready to snap your bones like twigs before you can even react is terrifying, even if he is just a man, even if he won’t kill you

I have been imagining making my own movie where Batman is casted as his mythological version instead of his hero version. Well I do plan to study film in the future, so if I get permission from WB in the far future. I might give us a genuinely scary Batman. For now the concept doesn't focus on Batman, but on Jim Gordon as a cop. And Batman is a side character, but a memorable one. Because I want it to seem like the Bat is not human, but a creature of the night. That strikes down criminals close to death. That nobody has even seen properly to prove if he is human or really a giant bat unleashed in Gotham. Striking fear even to the innocent people he protects, making them think "If you are out in Gotham at night. The Bat will stalk you." I guess also I'll add the fear of the unknown to the mix, why Batman is a side character we will see less of him. We grow anxious of when will he show on screen and we cannot distinguish features of the Batman when he is on screen. And we cannot predict what he will do.
It sounds like Batman who laughs compass and Alfred and you are left with a Batman who will do nothing but hunt you down maybe Christmas train is going to try to do anything in his power I'll hunt you down it blends in with the dark
