@@wanjanechtangroeger hey Wanja! You gave a link to a splash cymbal but you are not using it. And when you said it was a hard choice between hihats, why u didn't put the other one on the right side? I'm a big fan and I love your videos. I love the new mics and overall sound. And killer drumming as always. And congratulations on your endorsement!
I guess im asking randomly but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I somehow lost the login password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
I smiled when you added how your cymbals were previously of different (brands). I'm one of the crazies who get far too analytical with sound, so I ended up with one of those "indulging all the possibilities" kits with a bunch of toms, couple snares, a few basses, and a crapload of bells and cymbals from different companies jammed in limited space. I like the qualities you sought in what you selected. They seem to complement what you're doing. If I ever get around to building another kit based on how a spinal injury has altered my playing, I'm planning on being much more about essentials.
Congratulations! These cymbals sound brilliant. How did you apply to get the endorsement and what was the process? I'm seriously thinking to use these cymbals too.
Personally this is all I need.. meaning no other instruments.. I love the meditative state my mind goes into (ASMR perhaps).. More than once I have clicked on "Play All" for hours.. Am I crazy? Nope just an old drummer.. Thank you as always
Great to see that you are getting the props you deserve! I would maybe pick some different sounds, but hey, not only is a matter of personal choice but I also don't play extreme metal all the time!!
Do you work with Zultan on Product Development? Would it be too much to ask for a big bell 20” RockBeat or F5 ride? Extra points if it’s moderately crashable 👍
No, I'm not involved with product developement. And to be honest I haven't even thought about that because I'm happy with what I have right now ;) I know many drummers like big bell rides, but for me they make no sense. Even with my current F5 ride the bell is loud enough - any louder and it would drown out the rest of the cymbal too much.
Thanks for the quick replay. Perhaps I'm putting too much faith in Zultan's videos; it almost seems like their cymbals are mixed very low. Some rides seem like they have no bell to them at all, even Q, RAW, and Z sound pretty weak on the mix. RockBeat and CS are my front runners for being both crashable and still having a great bell... Dark Matter is a close 3rd place, but doesn't seem to be as versatile.
@@VertigoGTI At least from the Rock Beat I know that it has a good bell and is crashable. I personally like my F5 21" much more because it has more "ping", but I think it might be a bit too heavy to be considered crashable.
Awesome dude and congratulations. I wish i could play drums like you but i have no space in my house for a drum kit. For now im stuck with learning to play guitar :D. Anyways keep up the awesome work
Hello, I like youre style, but Iam not so flashed from your Tom-sound, whats your favorite about shells? I think the sound could be a little bit more deeper, with belly and not so dry from the wood, do you thought about maple, walnut or bubinga?
Zultan is the shit imho! I bought a aja 18" crash because i needed both a crash and a ride and it beats the crap out of meinl, paiste, zildjian and sabian in that price range. Comparing them to A custom or byzance wouldnt be fair but for €70 they win all. I now have a 16" crash and a 16" china that rocks..
Nah not really , I have the Meinl Mb20 Heavy Bell Ride and its way thicker ,so it has a more kinda „Metal“ sound with less overtones , but yes the cymbals sound very good .👌🏻
Nice if they can satisfy you they will sure satisfy me but which set you think is optimal for a very dark tone that also have attack i was thinking q series
I just liked them most - in general I prefer cymbals that are not too thick because they are not overly loud and you don't need to hit them super hard for them to sound good.
Your bass drum it sounds like electronic with the trigger. You might put a kick pad down there to avoid the weight movement of the bass drum at gigs or change the sound to more realistic bass drums sounds like Slayer as example.Didn't like it??
The 16"crash Heritage sounds like crap.Didn't you listen the CS or Q series??Cymbal choice is very personal but i think this cymbal is too far from a good general sounding cymbal it seems like 12" Paiste PST3 Splash!!

really nice to see such a talented drummer take on a cymbal brand that isnt meinl, zildjian, sabian etc.

Classic tones from B20 bronze cymbals are always a great choice.
B20 cymbals cover many different musical styles.
Congratulations on your endorsement!

Did you try the Dark Matter Dalge hi-hats? I’m stuck between them, the Q and the CS.
I am not sure, if I tried the dark Matter HiHats - but I remember having a hard time choosing between Q and CS!
Okay thanks! I’ll most likely order multiple one and send back what I don’t like. Shipping to US makes it tricky and expensive.
Love the new set up! They sound awesome! Boy oh boy that 18 china made me happy in pants!

I think the sound could be a little bit more deeper, with belly and not so dry from the wood, do you thought about maple, walnut or bubinga?
Honestly I haven't thought about any of that because I just don't have the money to think about buying a good new kit.
You should check out acd darwin pedals if ever feel like changing pedals.

Sounding great !!! Specially Ride and chinas
I love Turkish hand made cymbals.
Excellent hats and ride. Ride is similar to Meinl MB20 heavy raid I think.
China's also very nice.

Muy bien Nechtan!!!!
I’m kind of blown away that a heavy player would choose the CS and heritage lines!

Schöne Auswahl!
Wow those sound great good choice
That 16th note triplet stuff at 5:44 is schmex

Sehr geile becken! Aber mal ne andere frage, hast du schon mal ein Splash becken an deinem set gehabt? Und wieso hast du keins? :)
Habe zwei von Zultan bekommen, aber bin noch am Überlegen, wo und wie ich die platziere.
heres hoping for a drum endorsement! :)
Yeah. Noticed about this video after 2 days
Ótimo trabalho amigo
Very nice Enjoy 🥁🤘
100th like! Sounds amazing!
Most excellent !
Wow man you're so amazing ❤️
Sweet! Now get a better snare drum!!!!!
or a better kit in general lol
For me the Snare is okay but the Toms...🤷♂️
just using wooden tip sticks would sound better on snare and toms.
Hervorragendes Englisch...wo kann man das lernen?

Great cymbals accept for the ride, it sounds weak, got no attack, mayve good for pop/rock.
Imo the cymbals dont sound that good but we have greatly different cymbal taste
