You rock!!
tambem se tornou minha banda favorita minhas favoritas são cascade e painted bird atualmente estou migrando do baixo para guitarra esta sendo de grande ajuda tambem
Love it. I'd love to play it myself, but not sure how it's played?. Sorry about your loss. We will see our loved ones again, but in a much better place than this. Take care bro. Thanx.
Jonas Jørgensen I own 2 Jc 120s and they are great for that stuff I would recommend a old 80s 120 for that stuff other Jc’s would do but nothing beats an old Jc 120 it’s more the effects you use through the amp I suggest the mxr m117r because that’s the flanger John McGeoch played and a bit of compression from a boss cs3 that’s how I get my banshees tone and it sounds as close as you get
For Siouxsie's stuff, Roland JC-120 paired with a Marshall JMP Mk II. For Cure's stuff, Robert Smith only used JC-120 in 2011 for Reflections concerts, he used a JC-160 instead (from 1979 to 1981 and then for a few gigs in 1984). Anyway, a JC-120 will do the job, for sure.
Yeah, really depends on the era… I never actually played a 120, I have a 77. As a rule of thumb, the Jazz Chorus can be a to-go amp for most post-punk bands. I would go for one with stereo chorus, there are some of the line that have a single speaker, you'll miss the great spacial effect of the chorus.
@@Guedzilla I've a "little" collection of Jazz Chorus : JC-80, JC-120 and recently acquired a JC-160. It's true that the JC-80 loses a bit of this dimensional feel in the chorus effect, with its lone 15" speaker. But still, its sounds is unmistakeably "Jazz Chorus". It's certainly not the amp I prefer in the JC series maybe due to this feature, but it works incredibly well on synths and basses. By these early days, I think Roland had in mind there should be a JC for any musical application that could come to a musician's mind. That's something they lost with experience : most of the antique JC models disappeared in the late eighties. Maybe mostly because the JC-120 became a kind of standard and one can virtually plug anything into it and suddenly make it sound creamy, even a bass or a drum machine.
Nice to have you back!
I'm always around ;)
When my brother showed me the music video, I said "Isn't that the guy from "The Cure". 🤗😊
I don't remember what I thought when I saw it… or when I found out it was him.
Sorry about your loss. As for your father, may he RIP.
Thank you.
@@Guedzilla You’re welcome.

Thank you. I have a tab for it, it's linked on another video, if it helps.

Would you be able to make tabs
I guess so, I just have to make some time.
If you should suggest a Roland amp for those Cure / Siouxsie sounds would that be a JC-120 or just any JC?

Could you upload the tabs or do a guitar lesson?
I'll get around to making a tab of it.
What effects are you using?
Just the chorus from the amp, I think.
What tuning?
Standard tuning.
standard tuning?
Yes
what do you do in the opening chord?
Hold the trem bar down before hitting the chord, then release it afterwards.
