Definitely watch the axle angle, mine chatters real bad and even moves the wheel up and down if too much angle. Changed to zero camber, slight toe in and a stiffer but sagging spring stance. Works good for my setup.
definitely planning to hit a track for the first time ever and this will hopefully put some laps in. Clean laps I hope I can pull off 😂 but I think its going to be fun either way.
People just need to experiment with camber setup. It’s fun to see what is happening. I think what works good for one will not be the setup for someone else or the type of surface they are running on. Fun part of adjusting possibilities is just try and see what works for you and more importantly what happens and how the car behaves. That car runs quite nice. The dog likes it too 😊
definitely! No two drivers will have and like the exact same setup. Tinker and see what you like is the best way to tune these that's for sure. His dog definitely was entertained .
Hello my fellow youtuber i really enjoy your presentations in the videos and awesome tips, i have a question about this alloy metal body rc cars, do they drift good out the box? If you were to buy only one model has your first drift rc car with the knowledge you have today wich one will you choose for drifting in small spaces at home from your LDRC collection? Thanks od advance, Ricardo
I would say get the miata or newer dark gray rx7 they have the same electronics as the GTR (metal one). They can drift decent just need to make sure suspension is working properly. Get the plastic models if you want to leave it stock. Get the GTR if you plan to go brushless. The weight and BL sysyem together make the gtr a blast. The plastic cars are pretty fun as is. Just as long as you buy the newer ones with the bigger radio included.
@@RunThatRC first thank you very much for the detailed reply, is it possible to add external gyro also to the newer models? I believe i saw someone say it couldn` t turn off the gyro in the newer models to over ride it do you know if this is the case?because i intend to order the gyro at the same time. Thanks on the tip i am leaning for the Honda because of looks is the gray honda also newer model? I hope this many question dont bother you my friend i really appreciate your insight on this matter so i can make a more educated buy.
I just got my 1899 today and it came with the shocks, they hardly keep the body up. what do you recommend? Should i add that torsion wire with the shocks or just swap em out
I want to know if the internal parts of the miata are the same as the r34, should I buy the r34 or the miata? Or is there another model that is better than these 2? Please answer me sir
You can run this battery but you need to change the connectors. It has to be located where I put it or somewhere under the body because it won't fit in the factory location.
Thanks for links ❤

mine started to chatter and that's how I noticed the horrible angle I gave it lol. Fun little suckers arent they!
Wow that drifts nice bro
It's surprisingly good!
Cool video! Bring it to a track and blow everyones mind! Its too much fun watching everyone be amazed at these things lmao 😅

yes its possible. There is no actual off setting, just turn it all the way down and its off.

Hi. How did You take out blue stripes from silver r34? Or did You repaint the body?
90% isopropyl alcohol.
Doggo 💕💕
dogs are awesome!
Thats fancy lol i like it nice joke its a nice drifter and transmitter/esc combo there ✌️
I'd say those mods were worth it
this thing has been a blast to run.
I changed everything to brush less motor but it has more power reverse then forward any suggestions on how I can fix.
try to reverse the throttle channel and switching two wires around on the brushless motor.

miata, blue and silver gtr and newer dark gray rx7 all share the same underpinnings and electronics.

Does anythjng else need to be upgraded to be able to use those batteries?
