I’m firmly against havik being bad
Most armour in an armour move besides ashrah
Great zoning especially paired with sub
Grab strings similar to why peacemaker is considered broken
Good damage when paired with the correct kameo
Unblockable setups
This type of one is hugely important on who plays him most havik players are just players who think he looks cool which is fine but that’s maybe why we all think havik is trash because the pros and good players see him and think nah would rather play “ “ character but if more people played him you would see more that he’s an effective character I would probably buff a plus frame if he was to be buffed but even then just seems pointless for the type of character he is
He’s a wierd one havik he’s felt broken since the beginning but it’s just I KNOW he isn’t
Nrs probably feels the same as to why he hasn’t been touched
Maybe this is just the honeybee effect, but I simply can’t see Reptile being considered bottom 5. His buffs were huge and his synergy with Mavado is amazing. Same goes for Rain. He was already good and now his buffs made him even better.
Yeah and scorpion with mavado is crazy also. I have seen badass sub players also but he could use some help I play him manly but I am not great either 😂 obviously there r really good characters. The damage of some r crazy i was using Omni man last night just for fun and his damage is so much more then others I play. I feel I hit them so much less and they were dead lmao

Nitara was the first character I used when Mortal Kombat 1 came out. I still like her allot but she was too hard to play as. I don't think her air dashing stuff is all that useful. I have no idea why her health is so low considering she has nothing to justify it. She even has to buff herself before she can get a projectile. Please NRS buff Nitara.
Sub-Zero Needs a major buff most def, damage sucks, and his combo starter is very predicable. And like you said once a person finds a way to get around ice clone, I start loosing.
I've been playing Nitara quite a bit, with Mavado I've gone full glass cannon with her, yeah I die in 1 hit but man I'm gonna chunk 50% per touch now lol
I play sub zero, great first character to play the basic, but once my opponent plays the distance your at 80% screwed du to is lack of speed.
I feel ur pain he is my main lol he def needs little help. Little faster and def more damage just little.
@@DBearIt in that case it becomes boring and rely on cameo projectile, ice balls and ground freeze to were them out and bring them back.....needs timing and it sucks lol

Man i really hope they buff my boy Havik, he's my main and sometimes there are fights that just feel impossible lol, if there's things that i would like nrs to give him, it would be to expand his moveset, he feels restricted and mostly relies on back 2 2, and maybe reduce the startup frames of his projectiles
Edit: But at least one good thing that he has now is Mavado, they have amazing synergy, and Havik's extra 100hp neutralizes Mavado's hp penalty

I agree with Havik. Despite I have a way to make it useful, the grab after b22 is predictable. He some new moves and a better projectile too. If nrs can buff reptile and rain with a new move, then they need to do the same with Havik.
Hot take maybe I think Omni-Man should be on that list he doesn’t have very many mixups and like scorpion relies a lot of his openings with a kameo. I think he just needs some other moves to give him mixup options because once you understand how be plays it’s very dry.

I think what they can do is make the final hit of his s12 attack string cancelable to his F3 low attack (earth stomp) and make his v stance grab overhead that way opponent can be conditioned to block the low hit first and then the overhead throw and when the opponent is conditioned enough omniman can simply cancel into the v stance throw and go for the overhead while the opponent is crouch blocking , would make hime pretty overpowered though
young tsung is probably the worst character I've ever seen grapplers literally have better combos then him
kitana has great projectiles but no overhead so just like rest of them she relies on kameo.
As a reptile main, he does need a bit more even with the newer update, I play him cause I love his character and can be fun looking combo's but there're hard getting off against real players.
Skill issue
Players like mountain dw the joker and honey bee and ilegenowski are literally unstoppable even against top players especially honeybee recently after the reptile buff, you guys drive me insane as someone who truly understands the game it’s mechanics and it’s balancing you ppl will one day gaslight me into actually believing the 💩 you speak
Bad takes are one thing but when the majority of a community have a bad take something bad will happen ie they will buff reptile into something everyone will hate going against that will be amazing and so much fun
@n3cb Honest respect, I do suck. However, if someone knows reptile, he can be very easy to counter. And what I said sounded better in my head, but reading it back, I messed up.
@@Tacticalpotato. respect to u as well u need to stop chatting and start grinding if you like mk brother once you truly grasp what makes these characters bad or good you will have your own opinion ( different to what pros say or the mass majority ) then you can explain why you think characters need what the need or don’t, I say this because a lot of pros push agendas that characters are bad or good when they are not ie sonic fox and every pro pushing that ermac is broken just for people to calm down 20 days later and now say he’s 10th in top 10 they just push whatever they please so the mass majority will keep nrs away from the characters they like that’s why reptile nobody says he’s good or anything but smoke hell I think he might even get nerfed the way people talk about him and he isn’t even that good!
They won’t tell you that kitana has some of the best buttons in the game or that baraka is actually a viable character to play in tournaments, they won’t tell you sub zero is actually a good character and only needs a couple frame buffs on his specials they won’t tell you scorpion has one of the most effective gameplans in the game because they want you to focus on whatever they are saying, not to think for yourself they literally want everyone to think exactly like them and I mean they are the pros so we should but we shouldn’t follow what they say blindly because most of it is just to influence patches
Like imagine if we just took sikanders word for everything that guy says
“This pro player (roether) ( one of the best players in the world currently ) is trash or when he says that sub zero khameleon isn’t broken or let’s go to maybe tweedy who was saying for the first like 5months that “baraka isn’t braindead broken” or “ baraka isn’t viable at the high level” even after his first nerf he was furthermore after saying all that tweedy literally bag picked baraka randomly at a tournament and almost won so it’s literally just the pros saying the opposite to their actions
I don’t think any of them are bad they just have unique play styles and some playstyles are way better then others

@@onestep they’re good and bad in different ways like sub is good at mixup and nitara has pretty good damage but sub has trash damage and nitara has no mixup. They all have pros and cons but I’d say these 5 are probably the worst overall

Nah they're bad lol, but it is true that they have their own advantages and playstyles, and as onestep said, these characters can be monsters on the right hands, it's just that compared to the rest of the roster they're the worst

Nah Geras is in the middle, not low tier.
How he doesn’t have a postive string in his kit, his only projectile leaves him minus 27 on block and 1b breaker is only beneficial if you’re already caught a combo it doesn’t net you any damage and snap is void because now the opponent knows when you have it so if the just block or use sub/jade kameo it doesn’t matter
But honestly you don't wanna be touched by Geras.
His damage is crazy.

Reptile isn’t that bad u can cancel out of his skydrop to turn invisible and he has a launching overhead

i disagree with you on reptile and should be replaced with li mei reptiles buffs made him good his cancel mixups is good not insane but good his projectile across the screen is also decent helps him with zoning as well and he does have mixups over heads his starter 3 is good his back 4 is a very good low keeps you very safe
I still don't understand why people think Scorpion and Sub Zero are weak.
They are my 2 mains, they are soo good!
Just compared to the rest of the roster their kit is a bit lack luster. But still great in the right hands!

Bro youre killing me. 3 of my main in your bottom 5. RIP Havik, Nitara, Reptile... I have to disagree about Reptile with his new buff. Ex teleport cancel to turning invis on standing 3 is safe and opens his kit up doing overhead and low mixups while invis. But i do see the point with nitara and havik. I use frost kameo with each of them to give both a 50/50 overhead/low mix and that works well.

I think Nitara is really the worst character.
One time in kl, i pick Kitana, a character i dont know very well against a Nitara
The opponent was try harding like hell with 45% damage each kombo ,but kitana button are so great (mid 14 frame, minus 5) that with 2 kombo i still manage to beat her.
The guy had 2000 set with her and me 20 set...
I don’t agree with you at all. I have been playing Nitara since this game released and have an absolute blast with her

I would say that li mei is worse than reptile, especially with the new tp cancel for reptile.
Other than that the list is 100% valid, you should try havik though he's viable with mavado and pretty fun to play

Havik and Li Mei are the bottom 2 in my humble opinion. I watch all the pro tournaments and no one plays them. And in KL, they’re easier to deal with than Scorpion, Sub Zero, and even Nitara.
Li Mei (t-rex arms, no overheads, no good mid, gaps, only one kameo works), Mileena (No kounter zone tools, t-rex arms, no good mid, on high levels only Lao works). they are the worst!, Nitara, Reptile and Havik are not good too, Everybody talks about subzero but he has very good mixing, is not hard to learn, maybe the damage is low but he has a lot of tools and options.
Well all 3 people I know how to play made the list. Just kick me while I’m already down bad😂😂😂😂😂

Im not saying Kitana is bottom 5, but to me its kind of ridiculous when people cite no mixups and no plus frames as a reason for being bottom tier, but yet Kitana is somehow recognized as high mid tier if not higher. I get she has good qualities like damage, meterless launcher, kameo synergy and zoning, but im just saying.. as a stand alone character she aint as great as everyone says. Without kameo, shes a strike throw character with good zoning and no plus frames.
“Without Kameo” is simply and irrelevant point to make because there’s never an instance where any character is without a Kameo. Kitana is really strong, but I agree that lacking traditional mixups isn’t that big of a deal when you have other strengths. Kitana has great range, great zoning, great damage, and a super dangerous whiff punisher.

And you say “great damage” when it’s average. Sub Zero, a dude who everyone cries about.. has better meterless damage than Kitana. He’s over 330 Kitana’s at 315.
She has gaps in her two main strings including her whiff punisher. Same thing Sub Zero mains constantly cry over.
And top tiers like Johnny, Ashrah, and even Ermac for that matter don’t need a kameo to be good. If we’re judging characters by their best Kameo then Sub Zero is right next to Kitana when he uses Khameleon…

You mentioned characters that don’t need Kameos, yet even with their best Kameos they’re still not much better than a good Kitana. I sure as hell don’t see pro Kitana players struggling with her, in fact I see their opponents struggling against her and those Kitana’s dominating in tournaments. Idk what more you need. Her weaknesses clearly aren’t a big deal.

Easy 50/50 low overhead with very good damage. Very easy 50/50 cancel grab low overhead. Best armor move in the game. Can go invisible and mix you with his 50/50.
He is a s tier MKX character in a mk1 game.
My god the number of bad player I saw on kasual level who have like 800 win for 100 defeat...with smoke and were very bad with the rest of the cast they main.

As a Rain main, I think he lacks combos fr fr. I can do a few mix ups & confuse my opponent with my water shield, but most of the time they catch on pretty quick & counter. What’s crazy is that my second go to is reptile😂😂

Sub/Kham is top 10 team. Multiple top 8 performances. Sub is the hardest character to tune without him being MKx grandmaster sub
Lea mei can get over 40% with any touch, and reptile just got buffed. I'd take Reptile out of the bottom 5 and add Quan Chi. I feel like if you use him it is a steep up hill battle. I'll admit, you can do some crazy stuff with Quan, but his game play isn't that hard to adjust to. The first time I fought a quan in KL with Ermac, I'm not gonna lie, he destroyed me in the first match. However, in the second match it was really close, and in the last match it was flipped, because I beat him very, very badly. It didn't take long to adjust to his game play even with a character I was just starting to learn.
oh ya Quan Chi is def an honorable mention. I can see why someone would choose him to be in the top 5 worst. Fair points!
Quan Chi is not even remotely close to the bottom 5. He is very easily in A tier, which everyone at a high level that is making tier lists, agrees with. He has some very dirty setups into armour portal. His whole game plan is to zone people out, and if they get close, either knock them full screen for a repeat or get into an armour portal setup.
@@ShaolinShelley Nah, I don't think that's right. If you get in close to Quan Chi, there isn't much he can do. And yeah, he does have some dirty tricks, but he doesn't have very many good mix ups so blocking him isn't hard, and he doesn't have a mid at all. He's not good.

@@onestepMileena is BOTTOM without Lao is IMPOSIBLE to see her on high levels she really needs Buffs, her neutral is very bad, if you zone her she is in trouble, everything is negative and simple pokes could easily beat u because she doesnt have a good mid, Tanya is TOP 5 for SURE she is AMAZING and has many tools to kounter pick.
Mileena is better than scorpion. faster frames, better tp, a low ball roll, high low string. yeah buddy sure
