Dive into the playful, theatrical storytelling of Genevieve Murphy, is this specially adapted concert performance of her theatre piece ‘I Don’t Want To Be An Individual On My Own’. For this performance at the Rewire 2021 - online edition, Rewire commissioned her to adapt the theatre version to a concert setting. Recalling a very ordinary birthday party from her childhood, Murphy explores the idea of empathy using dance music, electronic pop songs and free improvisation. Murphy was accompanied by Andy Moor, Marta Warelis, John Dikeman and Henning Luther.
