Funfact: The *?* costume was originally supposed to be a bear, but disney feared Soos could be interpreted as a furry and wasn't comfortable with that. So Hirsch created this abomination of how to make people uncomfortable instead.
And yet they let Dipper wear that Wolf costume? And if I remember correctly, there was an episode of Phineas and Ferb that came out before that episode where Buford was in a Bear costume the whole day.

I suppose they were fine with it since dippers chest was still uncovered? Or something? Or because soos is an adult, and buford and Dipper are still kids, hence it could also be interpreted as a pyjama?

Well, my guess is Disney doesn't have a problem with kids dressing up in animal costumes as that is seen as just a cute kids thing

Man this one really slipped past the radar. And yes, the apology dance is one of the best jokes in the show. I remember someone made fanart of Luz and King forcing Lilith to do the apology dance after the S1 finale aired.

This episode seems like filler, but is actually super impt to Mabel’s and Stan’s development and relationship. and it’s something I didn’t notice until rewatch.

I don't think you know what filler means. Gravity Falls doesn't have any filler as it's all original Canon content. 🙄

The author of the journals must be... a time-traveling Waddles an alternate dimension that's in the future where his intelligence was greatly increased by a spell that Stan's football robot cast, which may or may not have involved enchanted fungi. He left the book behind as a guide for Mabel for who to avoid as potential boyfriends, but Dipper found it instead.

i like the way you say things and how you view things in the shows. that show will get to plot at the end of this season, but character building and seeing other things is also fun and interesting

Technically, Mabel lost the bet. The bet was that she could make more money than Stan running the Shake HER way. And she didn't, she lost a bunch of money doing it her way, and only started making money when she started running it Stan's way. Plus, even though he lost it all, Stan DID make more money than her.
