Leather sheathe with a clip is such a boss move! I wish more people did this. I generally carry IWB and clips are better for that than belt loops. Well done sir!
Holy cow!!! That came out beautiful! Had you practiced on one before? I drew a beautiful fantasy dagger. It's been there for about a year because I'm too scared to make one. Hopefully with the more knives I make I'll work up the courage. I was already asking myself when you were going to make your next video 😂 beautiful work and I really love the way you make your handles 😊 can't wait for the next one and may you and your loved ones have a blessed day.
Thank you very much! I did practice grinding the blade bevel on a piece of mild steel. That was the main thing I wanted to figure out, because it has to be really symmetrical.
@HelixKnives awesome! I have some mild steel somewhere 😆 I'm a hamone freak...I kind of pretty messed up the knife I just made. I have 2 hamon lines now and the one nearest the sharp edge is really pronounced...
I really need a belt sander, wpuld make some tasks alot easier, im still on my first knife, actually im making 2 blades but waiting for my propane furnace so I can heat treat them. But i only have a angle grinder and drill press as for power tools
I started with a makeshift filing jig to do my blade bevels and I heat treated the first 3 blades in a barbeque grill with coal and a hairdryer blower. A belt grinder is a very good investment I do the majority of blade and handle shaping on it. If you want crisp bevel lines you can try hogging off material with the angle grinder and then using a filing jig to file a crisp bevel line. @GoughCustom has a video on how to make a filing jig.
@@HelixKnives atm i start with the angle grinder and carefully make the bevels and then I use normal files to finish it. I only have a gas grill so I would need a fire pit to use coal and hairdryer

Thanks. I do clip on sheaths for most of my smaller knives for inside the pocket carry. This one is a boot carry style.
Quality craftsmanship.
Damn straight.
Another masterpiece
Thanks
Great looking dagger, well done.
Thanks.
As always... Love your work Brother!
Thank you!
Dope AF results, @HelixKnives! This would fit right in at a high-end sporting goods catalog/retailer!
Thank you! Damn sure would, if you got any high-end contacts let me know 😁

@@christobaliancantu7112I really like doing hamons as well. Still haven’t totally figured them out but it’s always nice when you get a good one.
i really like your makers mark, where did you get it made?
great build btw!!!
ACuriousCreator on Etsy made the vinyl stickers for me. Thanks.
@@HelixKnives are his vinyls reusable?
No, but this is a way cheaper option than one of those plastic stencils an it gives great results.
What kind of wood did you use for the handle scales?
Stabilized maple burl and stabilized walnut burl.
super boulo je like
