You need to start doing the following things. 1. Just meander with no expectations. 2. Hunt on non sunny days. 3. Don't cross to the otherside. 4. Get a backpack that doesn't fight back. I loved all the jaspers best, but I'm biased. Jaspers are my friends. It was a great video and I love seeing the dogs. Keep the goodness coming. Nice seeing you chatting on the pod. Be happy, safe and stay healthy.😷⚒
I 've matched a lot of your videos and loved your enthusiasm and talking for finding amazing agates and petrified wood. Please don't change your style for some of the comments. Well done, all the time.
I love agates. Really love the Montana agates. However, I am quickly becoming a huge fan of all the colorful jasper’s I keep seeing you and Kim and so many others finding. They’re just so beautiful!
Wow! I’m amazed at the rocks you have there 🤩. At 11:30, is that an opalized baculite? I about lost my mind when you showed that and the hidden colors. That rock is amaze-balls! I would so love to see more of that stone ❤️❤️❤️✨ You do an awesome job. Love your channel! Thanks for the 🎥. Stay Crystal 💫
Wow! Too many awesome finds to pic just one. Totally loved them all but the jaspers🤩 and jasper-agates🤩 you found were really amazing! Thanks for another fantastic video Theo!👍✌😎
Those with blue inside, was interesting .looked nice. You are so entusiastic so it is funny to watch you:-) God, that Jasper, with green and all the other colors. gosh gosh...
Those Jaspers are gorgeous, love the petrified wood with blue streaks . That one dark Jasper with all the colors wow!! I liked the little colorful agstejaspertsa??? I think it would make a beautiful necklace! 😃👍👍 And Theo, you are very funny!
So so many favorites this time. The plume jaspers are def up there high on the list but also the mixed color jaspers but also the agatized wood. Let's just go with this is my fav hunt video because they were all to amazing to pick just one. I would love to get to visit the Yellowstone river I'm a rock hunter stuck in a place with no cool rocks or fossils. I hunt vicariously through u tube lol. Thanks for letting us be a part of your experience.
Oh there are so many beautiful rocks in your hunt today. That really cool green rock is incredible. I would love yo find some thing like that. Great video
Beautiful finds on a beautiful day (overcast can be nice too). Of course I'm partial to those amazing chunks of petrified wood yet some of those jaspers were incredible, seriously. Thanks for bringing us along for a good hunt!
Those blue ones were amazing, they are all amazing to me, it seems like the rock's and stone's here in New Zealand are a bit boring compared to what you guy's find. Enjoy your weekend mate. 🤙✌️
I live in Ohio and I'm just getting into tumbling, we have nothing really but my junk roadsides small rocks turned out really pretty. I went to Hatfield and McCoy trails and found what I think is Jasper but I needed a bigger tumbler and a lapidary for bigger ones. I yell no at some of the rocks the rockhounds leave behind. If you cant find what they find look for color, patterns forms of crystal they still make beautiful natural art. Good luck and have fun and always let your imagination run wild when hunting 😁👍
@@msmarigold4647I definitely know what to look for when it comes to rock's and stone's, although my neighbour keeps giving me handfuls of tiny grey gravel pebbles, I would tumble them but don't have a tumbler at this stage, most of my problem is I live in a city so there's not many places to hound close enough to me, but I did pick up 2 small rock's walking home a couple of nights ago, walking through a gravel parking area and these two things were glowing in the moon so took them home and to my delight one has some banding and slight colour, looks like it will polish up quite nicely, I might make a video of it maybe. And hey thanks for your comment I appreciate it, enjoy your day. 😊✌️
This is all i ever want to do with my spare time! Been doing it since i was a little girl in Nevada. We should compare rock collections! I love rock hunting!!
some crazy finds once again Theo, specially for such a short period ! can never pick a favorite...my minds gets blown away by them all haha. enjoyed the adventure/vid 👊
I have to say the little one with the intense blue is my favorite. Theo it is now fall and you just inspired me to get out and hunt for agates before the snow. Won't be long here in Wisconsin. ✌&❤
Walked along edge when we were visiting the area, but it was April/May. so next time will study it out for better searches. Love all the great stuff you find, and love your enthusiasm, and your dogs.
Awesome finds as usual 👍🏼 Dude… I just found out about a spot for Cretaceous fossils in Missouri!!! So stoked!!! I’m gonna find some ammonites and baculites 😆
Do you ever rock hunt in the rain, I don't mean stormy rain. Might seem crazy, but they are almost my favourite days out, I find so many treasures on those days.
Hey Theo, I just watch your video pretty cool I’ve been watching you and your mom go out and hunt rocks. I think that river has a lot to offer. I just purchased a 2 pound Jasper and your Etsy store can’t wait to find all the goodies in store I’ll do a little video of cutting them open. I really like the video of you and and the challenge you did with Rockie rockhound Video was awesome. Great video can’t wait to see some more
So.... When you found that agate w/the red vein in it, it disappeared into your backpack so fast i hardly remembered it. Theo, no one's going to steal it from you w/their eyes. & You're by yourself w/ the camera!!!! You did the very same thing w/the agate Alexis found on another hunt. They were both missing from the round up... They're free & laying on the gtound. Remember that, too.
Mr. Kellison, please tell me what is the defining criteria for a Montana agate versus other agates you find and also what does TSA stand for. Thank you.
I have a chunk of “something” and can’t find out what it is. Could I send you a photo of it and see if you can tell me what it is? It has been shined In the tumbler, I Guess.it is reddish with different colors of streaks. Thanks. I love your videos.
I have to start by saying I am watching on my phone AND it was pic in pic so it was EXTRA small. At 5:50 I thought you were spraying a pile of poop... 😅 That seriously looks like doody on a tiny screen.

On cloudy days you’ll spot rocks that you’ll overlook when it’s sunny.
I love agates. Really love the Montana agates. However, I am quickly becoming a huge fan of all the colorful jasper’s I keep seeing you and Kim and so many others finding. They’re just so beautiful!
