    Hey Kripp! Just found you man. Loving the vids! I'm a fairly new player in HS and doing pretty well (I think. ;) I'm @ 62% with Mage over 30 games anyway. 72% over last 11 games.) I know this vids older but @ 3:30 would it ever have been correct to save Fireball by just dropping your own Sen'jin and simply not swinging with Mana Wyrm on Turn 4 knowing it's vulnerable to Frostbolt anyway? Or is that the very reason TO Fireball, go face with MW? Great teachings! TY!

    there was no downside in killing the hoarder.
    You would win the next turn because of fatigue. The hoarder in the table would make no difference, but pinging the hoarder you would have a 25% percent chance of winning on turn ahead.

    • @TBummerkaiT
      @TBummerkaiT 10 років тому

      Blasting Loot Hoarder would've been the right play. Kripp thought by playing Loot Hoarder he forced the enemy to attack him since he has 2 attack but the enemy would've died anyway. That's why the enemy HAS TO go to the face and if he can't kill him he'd be dead due to fatigue. +1/4 chance to win is still better than +0

    Why did you kill the sheep when he was on 3hp with a ping instead of pinging face?

    • @carbon1255
      @carbon1255 9 років тому

      kamikaza tritritri because the guy was so close to death any spell would do it from his side, whereas minions can be buffed. It was quite likely the opponent had a heal too, which would have made it a waste. I found the fireblasting the acolyte of pain much more questionable, he should have pinged the ghoul in my opinion, as he could ping the acolyte any time to fatigue the opponent, all he did was give him 1 extra card to possibly kill him with, and leave him with extra damage on the board.

    • @Voidward
      @Voidward 10 років тому +6

      Because mages have cards like flamestrike and blizzard. If you play all your cards and the enemy clears them with 1 spell you're out of cards and the other guy caught up or is now ahead in cards
      If you've got more on the board then you're already ahead, playing more creatures will speed up damage on him but at the risk of losing lots of cards.
      Not playing everything while staying ahead on board control is safer and leaves you with backup options. It's thinking ahead of the current turn.

    I don't understand why he pings the sheep and the acolyte instead of pinging face twice. If you ping face and leave 1 damage on board, then blizzard and ping face he has 1 hp and dies next turn without a heal. Seems too conservative to me. Yeah, he could heal, but even in that scenario you're going to kill all of his shit and he'll hit fatigue 1 turn later than he would have otherwise.

    • @Lors_101
      @Lors_101 9 років тому

      +troliolol lol idk why he pinged sheep but he pinged acolyte so the mage was bound to lose due to fatigue (unless the mage healed or killed krip in 3 turns)

      I'm stuck with a choice of Shaman, Warrior and Rogue every time, aside from the one time I got Warlock and that time I got Priest but a really crap deck.

    Gee... Will you stop this Mage hating nonsense already? Many popular HS streamers (Trump, Reynad etc.) have stated that the "hatred" towards Mages in Arena isn't objective, with Reynad specifically stating that, in his opinion, Rogue is better than Mage in Arena. I agree with that statement 100%.

      Kripp'as tikrai persistengia. Bet nesutinku su reynadu. Mage turi daug stand-alone geru kortu. Fireball, frostbolst, poly, flamestrike, water elemental. Rogue siek tiek atsilieka tame.

      Ben Adomaitis Didele dalis Rogue kortu trade'ina 2for1 pvz. dagger+poison, si7 etc. Be to Rogue burtai kainuoja super mažai, taigi vienu turnu gali ne tik valyti board'ą, bet ir žaisti minion'us. Massan su Rogue Arenoje beveik 30% laiko gauna 12 pergaliu.
