Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on UA-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on UA-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on UA-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

One of the greatest singers and entertainers of our lives !!!
My favorite Tina Turner song!! When you get a minute, check out the earlier 1960s video of her singing this!
Such a great song by a magnificent artist.
Sad that we lost another one of the greats recently. Tina Turner was the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll". She spanned over 6 decades of music. She started out with her husband Ike & had some great hits such as "Proud Mary", "It's Gonna Work Out Fine", "River Deep-Mountain High" & "Nutbush City Limits". But she had even bigger hits when she went solo such as "The Best", "Better Be Good To Me", "Private Dancer", "We Don't Need Another Hero", "Typical Male", "I Don't Wanna Fight", "GoldenEye", "It's Only Love" (duet with Bryan Adams) etc.
She also sounded amazing with Mick Jagger
I loved this woman and I love this song !! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Miss Tina is simply magnificent! This is not a favorite of her songs, but she kills it!! I love how she interacts with the background singers, too!
She was a beast! Miss her deeply ❤
Another great reaction from an icon. You do make me smile every time I tune in. Bless you.
Tina was a force! A real example of determination in spite of nay-sayers.
Tina opened for the Rolling Stones on one of their vast tours. Jagger admired and loved Tina so much that he treated her like the Queen she was.
They were great friends. It must have been one hell of a show, Tina & The Stones.
Saw her & ike 1970 . I have loved her since then. The energy in that pink fringe omg
Tina was a force of nature (RIP). A unique talent surpassing genres. What a crowd! What energy! How cool is it that she worked with Phil Collins on the Disney flick 'Brother Bear'. Versatile.
A Top 3 in the UK in 1966... a staple of the Tina Turner shows right up until she retired just after this show in 2009. She is approaching 70 years old here...... unreal
Total Class!! ♥️🎶
Love Tina Turner. Great reaction!♥
She is such a beautiful soul ❤️ would love to see more of her work
When I watch other reactors I mention you in the comments so others might go to your channel and watch your reactions and hopefully subscribe. Keep up the great work!
saw her third row live in concert 1983
she was the most powerful amazing beautiful gorgeous creature I've ever seen
Tina Turner What you get is what you see it’s a little country and a Little Rock and roll and a whole lot of Tina.
As others have said, you've actually got to see her with the Ike and Tina Turner Review from the 60s into the early seventies, it's just mind-blowing.
There are several live performances of Proud Mary, but the best ones are about 6 or 7 minutes long at least. And you definitely want to get where she talks at the beginning and they do the slow part before it breaks open.
FINALLY! YAY someone is actually doing THE Original (tho i prolly have it all wrong & in that case please correct me) but man i kept seeing the title of this song & gettin all excited n then it wasnt my girl Tina Freakin Turner! and anyway for me i know this song from her 1st like i said i dont know the backstory or who actually did it 1st originally but in my headspace she did heh anyway Thank YOU very much for this reaction **Edit** yes indeed i am one of those whom ya bring JOY to & it is very musch appreciated beyond anything ya can imagine truly Thank YOU Shawn & yep nobody could Shine as Bright she was pure energy
First recorded with Ike Turner. Look up "Wall of Sound" - recording mixing created by Phil Specter
Great song! She did it with Ike Turner in 1966. Phil Spector produced the studio version. Harry Nilsson covered it ❤
There seem to be a lot of covers of this nowadays
Oh really? Such as? 🙂@@CosmicVagabondPixie
Tina Turner Simply the best blasting out at Ibrox stadium as The Rangers football team takes to the field, is a beautiful thing
Of course Tina Turner was so intense, that's why she was called "The Hardest Working Women in Show Business". And "The Hardest Working Men in Show Business" was James Brown.
i bet ya were thinking of Diana Ross "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" which is another Spectacular song one of my most favorites hope ya will react to her someday! **Edit** Ha i knew it! posted this before i saw ya say it on the reaction heh
I love Tammy Terrell and Marvin Gaye singing "Ain't No Mountain Hight Enough."
Also, The Supremes sang this with The Four Tops...it was awesome. I remember this coming over the radio airwaves when I was in elementary school. The best!❤
@@subwaygoddess1 Oh cool never knew
@@carlataliaferro4326 Awesome never knew about that one either i dont think cool
@CosmicVagabondPixie OH you gotta hear Marvin and Tammy. They did it before Diana
This video is good BUT PLEASE do the original version of her doing it in the 1960s which was produced by Phil Spector and which is on a GRAND scale❤️
I feel being and going through that life with Ike Turner pushed her buttons even more to keep going to build her own career. Movie was great though. When "Private Dancer" was released...that fabulous album started her engines going. Great reaction Shawn..💐RIP Tina💐🎤
💜
Why was her voice silenced by American record companies.? I have never found a definitive explanation beyond silly conspiracy theories. She was BRILLIANT.
Just a great reaction Shawn - Love how you really get into the music - I would really love to see you react to Proud Mary live at Wembly -- Here's the link so you don't have to search for it - ua-cam.com/video/T2T5_seDNZE/v-deo.html
Oh yeah
Good one Shawn, Tina was a treasure for sure. If you want to see energy, check out Ike and Tina doing Proud Mary live, you'll really like it, cheers.
Original studio version the one
You needed to snother kive version from later on in the 90s!
She's past her prime here. WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT, and NUT BUSH CITY LIMITS are a couple of my favorites, when they were first released.
Later live versions are better!!😢
