The work you put into these video's the forethought and presentation is outstanding. Its just like watching a movie. I cant give you a big enough rap. You've got a viewer for life in me mate, full credit to you. Love your work see ya on the road!
I really enjoy the video you make it is really great seeing this beautiful country of ours from a truck and I can't wait to see your next vlog keep on trucking 🚛🚛
It's a cold, wet, dark afternoon. What a treat it is to ride along with Ken in sunshine as he shows us the parts of Australia the tour buses do not go to. For a bloke who does a fair bit of mucking around (his words), he gets a lot done.
Fantastic Opening and music mate. Great you are still able to do these videos, on top of everything else you are doing. Stay safe and best wishes to you and Joycee too.
Another Awesome video, you keep stepping it up Ken. You’ll be known as the “HOLLYWOOD TRUCKER” soon with your filming & editing talents mate! Appreciate your work.
Thanks for taking us along Ken. I always loved the scenery on that stretch from Goomeri to Ban Ban Springs . Not so much the bit from Durong to Jandowe . Cheers mate ,keep safe.
G'day Ken ... I actually gave a thumbs up to half the comments before I watched the video! A couple of points - I like the colour of you toast ... none of this warm bread stuff, real blokes toast 😄 but I can't do the 2.5 spoons of sugar in the coffee. On a serious note and I'm not a trucker, for people who don't understand you are not 'just a driver', you are actually a manager. Making decisions as to what route to take, correct times to deliver to destinations and on it goes. I've said before I appreciate the history lessons and what I've learnt about the trucking work you do. Thank you 👌👍
Great post, Ken. I lived in Mundubbera for a year in 2000My Late brother lived in Goomeri and had a block on the Gayndah Road. Nice to see my old stamping grounds and the drive across the dam brings back memories. Drive safe cobber and see you on line again soon.
Something a bit different again , I like esk ,nice spot , was looking to move there, never been out where u picked up , it looks nice out there to , anyway , another interesting vlog , looking forward to the next 1 😊 👉👍🖖✌️
To be anest. I was wating for your vid last week. Mist you. Was a bad weekend. lol. Thanks for this one again. i enjoy it like always. Have great weekend Ken. See you next time.
Hey Ken. A great video that has cheered me up from my hospital bed in Orange NSW this morning. Been here for 5 days after experiencing a pulmonary embolism last week. Was only thinking last night about if and when you were going to post a new video. Feeling better now after watching it.
Lived in the caravan park on the river bank when i was a kid. Caught a massive cat fish that had 4 huge half digested fish in it. Anyway better get back to watching your awesome vid.
Another great video Ken. I was starting to think that this shorter job would be nice change for you making it a bit easier on you but when you mentioned at the end it was a lot harder because it wears you out the most it surprised me a bit. But anyway looking forward to seeing where you end up after Melbourne.
Thanks Ken, Thanks for showing us a part of the place I probably will never get to. It certainly did look like a nice drive. Well done for the professional manner you put it all together. Looking forward to our next trip with you! John
Thankyou Ken you brought back a lot of great memories. I travelled that way many times and I lived in Mundubbera for many years. Keep safe on the roads.
Any chance at some future date can you do a video on how you move the lead trailer container back and forth from loading and unloading. Have seen semi trucks for years but never how you move the them. Any safety aspects also would be appreciated. Thanks mate..
Another great video Ken. I always enjoy driving through that area around Kilcoy, Gayndah Mundubbra and up to Biloela. Some very pretty country up that way.
G'day Ken, When I used to work for Wollies the company that used to deliver the pallets of milk they roll the lead trailer into the back trailer, both trailers had rear roller doors & made one big 34 pallet unit no need to split the combo. The fridge units under the trailer. Had a 34 pallet unit, then used day cab T900 Kenworth & rolled up with a 36 pallet combo. Driver mentioned extra 2 pallets was jam for money for the boss. Maybe Lindsay should consider something similar. Splitting trailers nothing worse. Stay safe buddy. For those make it clearer a a full width metal walkway connected both trailer unload a 36 pallet combo in less than 30 minutes no split great idea. Cheers Louis Kats 👍
Beautiful Ken - mate, I used to travel in and out of Yarraman all the time when I was working up at the old Tarong Power house. Wonderful country up there mate
Thanks for the reminder, from there to Roma to the border the road made yu sea sick over 90 klicks because of the constant trains on the road. Oh thanks for bringing back the nightmares, er I mean memories.
Esk bakery had some nice food, Blackbutt pie shop had excellent snacks, Yarraman bakery another good stop, Goomeri cafe had good coffee, that hill climb outside Gayndah sorts out the real trucks from the pretend one's...... the Burnett highways as rough as gutz but not a lot of traffic on it. Durong'....worst stretch of road in the country I'd ever been on. Great video......I think you've been asked before...the trucks an auto isn't it!? Cheers.
I live near Toowoomba so you passed not too far from my place, there's a lot less trucks pass through the centre of Tba since the second range crossing opened. The old range crossing must have killed plenty of trucks! Thanks Ken for making & sharing these videos.
Good trip , know the area well, I was traveling on the Durong Mundubbera Rd one Sunday morning 2003, In the distance I saw something come out on Rd, as I got closer I was shocked to see a Black Panther Yes I couldn't believe my eyes, Got a good look of it , It turned and with big cat like strides moved and jumped in one motion on top of cutting, No Australian animal can jump that high, It was no wild cat , I'm a country boy so know my animals, To my surprise in 2009 , looking on a site on my new computer, I realised someone else had seen one in same spot , and reported it, Hope you get a long break, driving can be tiring, Cheers Bevan 🤠🦘🦘🇦🇺
Kenny,An epidemic sound and visual production once again, loved seeing that part of the Queensland countryside again. The Coast to Coast livery at I can’t remember where looked great. Mate these videos keep getting better every week. Really enjoying them.
One question... do you get told which route you have to take to get somewhere or provided you get in on time it is up to you how you get there?
They usually leave it up to us so long as we don’t be stupid about it, I’ve heard stories of blokes going through national parks!!
Does the cop at Yarraman still sit out the front of his house with the hairdryer catching people coming down the hill too fast.
Not sure, I’m not really up this way too often
Kenny your videos have come a long way since the early days hom many times do you stop the truck just to take a clip i woner if you have ever turned the truck around just to film something you passed.
