Keep us posted! I am curious to know what the diagnosis process is like with Embrace Autism. I have an appointment for an assessment for both ADHD and autism in January.
@@l.kozasdiary7958 The January appointment I had got pushed back and I didn't get an assessment until March. It was three appointments of 2 - 3 hours each, three Wednesdays in a row. So it was sort of exhausting but in the end, I got a few diagnoses, including ASD-2 and inattentive ADHD. I'm being treated for ADHD and I have an autism coach. And yeah, thanks for asking! Life has gotten better since I pursued this. I wish you all the best with your assessment process 😊
@@sueannevangalen5186 Ah! I'm glad it has gotten better for you ❤. And thank you so much. My assessment is for autism. I don't have much idea about ADHD but some of my friends said I might have that too. I'm really worried about misdiagnosis because the autism community is the only community that gets me! Can't think of anything else but the appointment in Jan 😅. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻. Can you please tell me more about autism coach? I don't know what that is
I’m a self diagnosed autistic also going through the formal diagnosis process with Embrace Autism! My diagnostic interview with Dr. Natalie is in a couple months!
It went well, I was diagnosed a few months ago. :) Turns out I have ASD Level 2, ADHD-C, and OCD. I also have Alexithymia which is a newer term, and I guess it's really common in autistic people. It basically means I have difficulty recognizing emotions. Since it's newer, it's not yet in the DSM-5, so it's not really a "diagnosis" like ASD or ADHD, but it's still something that they point out if they find that you show a lot of "symptoms" of it if that makes sense. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask! But otherwise it went good and I'm glad to be diagnosed now!@@jello_cakes
I did the eye test in 6 mins and got 28 right through a mixture of examining eyebrows and tons of light speed guesswork. It was rough though, evidently flirty people look angry to me.
Yes, the screening is to see if it’s worth it to do the full test. So just in case you’re not autistic, you don’t waste time doing the whole test. Hopefully that helps
@@therachelisticchannel thank you! It’s a little unfortunate because well, I’ve done all their tests on the website. Not some of the ones you said. But I’ve been doing research for a year and I’m basically certain. I don’t even question it anymore. But I want a physical diagnosis. And that would mean I would have to pay all that money😱😭
Yay! That’s awesome. I didn’t have to take that additional psychometric test so that’s interesting.

How did it go?
I have mine in Jan, 2024!

Congrats! I'm still waiting on an autism diagnosis, its so hard to get diagnosed 😭! I'm excited to see more content from you in the future 💗
Interesting! Inever heard of this test.
Would you recommend this test to others?
❤❤❤❤❤
Do you have to do the screening before you do the actual test with dr.E
