I dun bought the Pawspital in Brindleton Bay and renamed it Starr Pet Clinic because the idiots at that place would not treat Power Girl's cat despite the fact that she signed in her cat. They were treating the other pets but not hers. Just goes to show you that EA doesn't care about anyone, let alone some mere sim characters.
My vet is so hectic that I'm having troubles keeping up with it my two employees don't do anything besides standing around talking I'm the one doing 90% of the work. It gets a little aggravating after a while doing everything on your own. 😧
I have found a good way to keep your Vet Clinic clean. Put another Sim into your household with your Vet and give that other Sim the Neat trait but do not level up their Vet skill at all. They will clean most things up, if they get occupied doing something else pause, switch control to them and tell them to mop or clean. It works great as you have control over what is cleaned but with them having the Neat trait they mostly clean up themselves anyway. You can even have them wear clinic uniform as they are members of the household. In my own clinic my Neat Sim is in a relationship with my Vet but only to enable them to sleep in a double bed together. Her clinic has an apartment upstairs and thought it would be weird to have an employee staying with her.

I find that the staff i hire barely do anything. So I just use members of my household to do all the cleaning and greeting patients. You just have to learn how to time everything (it takes awhile for pets to go to the examination table so during that time i'd use another sim to start giving treatment to another pet.
So this happened to me with a restaurant employees. I saved the game, fired them and went to my home lot, then I went back and hired new ones. Fixed for me! I hope this helps.

You can do that, or when you're at your sims home, type control + shift + c and when the window pops up to type in, in the top left, type motherlode (gives 50k simoleons) or kaching (1k) until you have enough to buy it.
On the Xbox you have to press both bumpers and the trigger buttons at the same time ( LT+LB+RT+RB. all at once). A white bar will pop up at the top of the screen. When that happens hit A then type "testingcheats true" then cheat codes will be available to use. I use " money $$$$( enter amount you want) than rosebud or mother lode. My pets got sick and I brought them to a vet and I bought it and it was a horrible mistake cause I don't know how to run it and this was helpful but I still have sick pets and I am emotionally attached to all animals even in the sims so I am sad ;-;

i was thinking about buy the cats and dogs pack but i have one question. do you need the get to work pack to run the vet clinic or does it just come with the pack?
They can go home whenever you want them to, or you can build them a little place on the lot of your vet clinic. They’ll still need a “home lot” but yo I don’t have to make them go home unless you’re promoted to for some reason like an event or whatever. I always just live at my clinic lol.
Can the sim run the clinix w/o me looking over them all the time? (If you have a family or smth) And can your sim open the clinic for a day of work but get himself a day off?
This video was super helpful to me but when I go to change my Lot type to Veterinary Clinic it said it cant be changed when lot is owned, do you know why?
When you are in edit mode at the top left of your screen you’ll see the name of your lot, if you click on the house icon to the left of the name of your lot you’ll then be able to change several different options for your lot, including the lot type.

Go to the pc or phone and click purchase property, I believe is the verbiage. From there you can purchase really any lot!

Click on a house you don't like and go to the edit lot button. Bulldoze it then build what you want! Don't forget to change lot type to vet clinic.

Hmm that's interesting, you have sinks in the toilet, reception desk, etc?

Ex: some beds/couches have comfort levels from 2-10. The higher the better
