@@JimSilva-SilvaDiecastCustoms that's what I was thinking for a club car,you made it 10 times better. You should send them a photo of your we ork and say, here is how it should have been
As nice as the original casting was, with that Spectraflame paint job, it was a big, blank canvas begging for some details, which you delivered in just the right amount. Great call with the Candy Striper theme. Super well done, Jim! 🍁👍
When I saw this I have to admit that I thought, "It's already perfect!" Well, I was wrong. After you applied the decals to it, and only then, it has become perfection! Nice way to enhance a diamond, Jim!
This was fun...and quick and easy, which is always fantastic! I've picked up a couple more of the Blown Delivery castings to mess around with. Both of these will get stripped and completely redone.
Thanks Chris! It was easy to do with the Second Chance decals. I had to trim the drag bus roof decal a little, and only used one decal from the Bone Shaker set for above the cab.
This thing would have sold out in minutes and have been worth 3 times as much if only they put on this livery. I mean, it wouldn't be true to the pink party cars, but it would be cooler. Don't get me wrong though, I fell in love with it anyways in fact I bought one and it's awesome!
Yeah. That works. It has to be my favorite casting I'll never own. I cant justify the money wanted for it. Ive loved it since I first laid eyes on the red Spectraflame version. It had gold pinstriping. My vision is a tad different. As a resident of California you may remember the Farrells Ice Cream Parlours that dotted the landscape. You might remember the catastrophic incident at the Farrells in Sacramento 45 years ago. Jet plane sped off the executive runway and plowed into the parlour killing a bunch of...never mind. Too depressing. Anyway...very turn of the century goodness with the San Francisco feel to it...fire truck bells and 4 part harmony barbershop quartet style dress.... Id do a tribute to that...and as an after thought...take the fancy front bumper off an Auburn 852 and stick it on the front of this... Maybe deep burgundy tones with gold and chrome accents.... But thats me...and since I wont pay for one....somebody else might take this idea and run with it......lol
I do remember Farrells and that look would be perfect for this casting! Next time they offer one through the club, I'll have to grab another and give it a try. They're WAY too expensive in the after market.
EXACTLY WHAT I SUGGESTED TO MY NJDCC MEMBERS! Glad you thought the same thing I did! P.S. Got the "Silva Stick-a" in the mail, Thank you! Have fun with your toys!!!
Hehehe It really did seem like an easy improvement to the casting based upon something they had already done. Glad to hear the envelope got there safely!
Take it. Break it. Remake it! This casting (in particular!) was begging for some details to be added to it, otherwise its just a big shiny moving van from the days of old :D Cheers!
When I took the first look. It was only ugly for me! (Personal opinion) but how you can see at the end that a few changes can really give this casting an completly other look👍👍👍👍 (from an other rattle canner) 😉 Thanks for showing the better one (Even if we never will see it in the original form ) Greatings from Luxemburg🇱🇺
I'm surprised it never came with decals on the first place, seems a little too plane not to have decals on it in the first place. It's certainly an improvement with the new decals though.
I'm sure there were a lot of people that screamed when I did it (don't tell anyone, but I just obtained two more Blown Delivery castings, more "rare" than this one...and they're going to have greater changes that this one lol). Thanks Morten!

Custom 2022. Red linen club. Blowing delivery candy stripper. Hot wheels redlineclub
Thanks Kenny!
That was awesome Jim, that's how it should have been done in the first place.
Thanks Scott! I'm a little surprised they didn't put some kind of artwork on the sides

4th thumbs up brother definitely a great casting for a custom and it came out nice brother and thanks for sharing it with us and have a great day 👍👊😎
Thanks Tony! Hope you have a great day too!
Those decals are an awesome final touch!!
Thanks Tom! Second Chance Redlines has a boatload of decals available and tweaking the VW Drag Bus set a little to fit this casting worked out great!
As nice as the original casting was, with that Spectraflame paint job, it was a big, blank canvas begging for some details, which you delivered in just the right amount. Great call with the Candy Striper theme. Super well done, Jim! 🍁👍
Thanks Andrew! It really did need something on those big, blank side panels!

Wow, thank you!
Love it Jim, your vision improved the overall look of the car!

The Candy Striper decals definitely added the perfect touch to it! :)
Thanks Summer!

You definitely made a beautiful model even better!!
That's a win. It needed something more, and you nailed it.
Thanks Leon!
love what you did here Jim, one of my favorite castings
Thanks Kristian!
Gorgeous model!!
I like it . It was cool from the start but kind of plain. Now it’s got style. Awesome job Jim 🌴👍👍😎🌴

Outstanding difference that's what RCL SHOULD OF DONE TO THAT !!! LOLgreat video and job on the tooling!!
Thanks Eddie! They really should have done this in the first place...I'm kind of surprised they didn't lol
Very cool thanks always like the older ones trucks 😊. Lee
Thanks Lee!
Looks considerably better! Well done sir 👍🏻

Thank you so much! I do think that the livery really adds something to this casting.
A nice blank canvas that was just asking for these decals! You made it better than the original, Jim!
Thanks Ben! Now to find another casting like this and make it fly 🤣🤣🤣

Outstanding as usual Jim but, has anyone noticed there are 10 exhausts on that V8? Am I missing something here? LOL!
Thanks Randy! It never even crossed my mind there were 10 exhausts when I was detailing them lol
I'm surprised it never came with decals on the first place, seems a little too plane not to have decals on it in the first place. It's certainly an improvement with the new decals though.
I'm surprised too John - they may have been thinking that the pink spectraflame on it's own was enough, but it seemed to be missing something.
No Gauzy on the window piece…lazy indeed! 😂😂 The decal choice is perfect for this color. Beautiful job!
🤣🤣🤣 Scary part...I almost did Gauzy it even though it was brand new, in perfect condition, and very little shows 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks Jimmy!
