had no idea the crotches were so easy to swap. I've done a lot of customs with other figures and even though I'm a vintage Joe guy I haven't pulled the trigger on the classifieds yet. I may do so now, thanks for the info. 👍

Do you know if Lady Jay's legs would pop off as easily when heated? I'm considering mixing and matching the darker legs from the first release with the brighter torso from the retro card to give her a two-tone look similar to the old cartoon. Not sure if the two greens will look good though.
Is it possible to replace the hip joint? One of those ball pegs is severely stressed for me, and I'd like to be able to replace it if it sheers off. I think the waist is just on a mushroom swivel, right? If that's the case, then it'd be a matter of cracking open the hip?

I want to swap my viper legs so the red stripe match on the outside, idc about the pockets being inside but wouldn't need to pop at the ball joint if the thigh cut comes apart. That mismatched stripe drives me nuts. I'd then swap feet from side to side. I'm afraid to try and break it..

Roadblock gungho are the same size but bigger than the others. Zartan was a little bigger than major bludd but it worked. Flint and roadblock probably wouldn't work as flint is smaller but who knows I never tried 😁✌🏽
Yo Ken how come you don’t just pop out the torso from the lower body? Swap the whole lower body at once? Seems like unnecessary steps as the torso pops right out as well?
I'd like to add that too much heat can cause weird warping at least it did on old joes also you can toss some rit dye in that pot and change up colors though it only gets darker So don't expect to lighten colors.

On Marvel Legends, can you take out the legs the same way at the ball joint and do those have a diaper the same way as the GiJoe figures? I want to make a General Hawk custom with the ML movie Vulture torso and add the Erik Killmonger legs on it. I never done this before.
If you gonna do a lot of customizing I recommend you get a cheap (one for about $12.99) hobby hot air gun, works as good as the hot water method but you save yourself the burns just, hold it about six inches from the part.
I thought I was the only one that felt like Major Bludd’s bottom half of the figure, is a little lacking... *pause I’m really digging your customs! Totally agree with not having to repaint parts... plug and play all day!

You should be able to buy just to be safe. Try a easy replaceable figure first.😁✌🏽

The Hot water will eventually take off some of the paint / clear coat .20 minutes with the hair dryer works well for to protect the paint application
